Today I finally got to installing a rom thanks to one of the guys in the forums. I installed cyanogenmod 12 which is pretty nice. later after, I discovered my camera only worked once then after that no more. What can I do to get it functioning again?

Hello, I bought and unlocked a HTC M8 but now I have put my sim in everything apart from there is no data connection, Wi Fi works but not data. When I go to Mobile Data in settings it says "disconnected" and when I go to APN it says " Access Point Name settings are not available for this user" Is this the problem ? Can anyone help figuring how to data connect ?

I forgot the lock screen PIN.
Both data connection and WiFi are disabled.

Hello everyone.I have a Sony xperia ZR running cm 11 kitkat 4.4.4. I flashed my phone with cm11 couple of weeks back and it was working fine till yesterday when it started showing null imei error to solve that issue I flashed cm11 again and the null imei error was solved,but when I tried logging into Google account it showed the can't establish a reliable connection error. I tried editing hosts file which is the easiest way there is but cm11 won't let me edit it even with root editor , I get the "unable to save the file hosts". I tried a couple of other methods no help there either.

After a while, Debian Jessie will just stop recognizing my phone. It will come up with and "MTP inaccessible" error and refuse to mount my phone. It still charges, but it doesn't allow me to transfer data to and from the phone. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

Hi. I have a very strange question. It could have been asked and answered before. Apologies.

I am trying to install this Tablet into my car's dash. My plans are:

1. Secure it to the car stereo area
2. Run a new wire from a fuse box to power the device when the car starts and shut it down when the car is off OR tab into an accessories power line with proper power converter 12v DC to the tablet's standard output (5v?)
3. Remove the battery so that it won't melt when it gets hot in the summer

Will my plan work or you have suggestions for me. What are my options if I want to do this?
Will the unit still work if the battery is removed and only runs from the power line?

Please provide constructive advice. Thanks kindly.

Hi, Posting for a friend. They've got a brand new Vodacom (South Africa) Note 4 but running here in Zambia. She can't seem to maintain a data connection for any longe than 2-3 minutes before it stops for 3 minutes and then comes back on. My theory is that since we don't have proper LTE here it's trying to register to LTE after it gets to HSDPA and then resets itself. I used to remember the code *#*4636#*#* on m S3 to get into the Phone information screen and lock it to WCDMA only - I tried it through the Samsung interface but no such luck already.

Am I missing anything here? Is there a different code I should be using?

Hi All,

Wondering if you can help, since I updated my moto g 2nd gen with the latest update I cannot get a data connection, I have done a factory reset but still nothing. Checked my APN settings and they are correct. I have had a look on google and there does appear to be users with the same issue but no real fix that I can see other than changing it to a different sim slot but only one sim slot works on my device so I cant even test it! Any other ideas or has anybody else had this issue?

Hi i opened this post because i have that problem and i cant solve it.
My device:
Huawei G630-U20, stock Android 4.3 Jelly Bean B127.
When i connect my device to TV with via usb and i enable USB Mass Storage on my phone, my phonr unmounts sd card and i can only access internal storage. So i cant view images and video from sd card on TV.
I also have Allview viper v1 and it has kitkat. On it i can view staf from sd card on TV via usb when USB MASS STORAGE IS ENABLED.
So my quastion here is, how to enable sd card when i connect my Huawei G630 with android 4.3 Jelly Bean to TV via usb???

NO SIM CARD / Your SIM card does not allow a connection to this network topic

Got a used N7.
Works fine with the AT&T SIM from my phone.
Does not work at all with any T-Mobile SIM that I tried (even went to the store to where they gave me a new SIM to try).

With T-Mobile, I always get the error message:
"Your SIM card does not allow a connection to this network"

... and on the lock screen it says NO SIM CARD

Can this be fixed?

T-Mobile customer support gave me no issues activating the tablet data plan on the device (i.e. IMEI is good?)

PS: Also - when I check the IMEI on swappa it shows as activation ready/clear for Verizon. But the N7 should be unlocked? And it DOES work with AT&T ....

My Note 2 i317 and I are having some issues lately. To put it mildly.

Some background: When AT&T pushed out the last OTA update for the Note 2 in Nov. 2014, my phone started experiencing network connection issues. Occasionally it would take multiple attempts to make a call, someone would call me but the phone wouldn't ring, etc., all while showing a solid signal. What was a mild annoyance got worse. I ran through the usual gamut of fixes (new sim, factory reset, etc.). As I've traveled for the last few months, I noticed that, while I lose connection every so often, I don't have the same issues I do at home. AT&T reports no network issues, though they have upgraded all the towers in my area to HD Voice. I figured that the OTA update messed something up. I rooted the phone, flashed it back to July 2014 stock (using this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/gala...-odex-t2802189).

The upside is that everything worked smoothly. The downside is that I'm still having the same connection issues.

For example, I'm currently showing -105 dBm (about average in my area), but every time I try to place a call it'll either ring and never connect or default to "emergency calls only."

I'm new to Android modifications, so I'm sure there is something I'm missing and ANY help would be much appreciated.

I'm running the lollipop update on my 16gb shield (which I'm surprised it's not 5.0.2) and I get a very poor Wi-Fi signal on both my 2.4 and 5ghz Wi-Fi signals compared to my other devices. Is there anyway to give the antenna a little bit of a boost instead of having to reposition my router? Also, is rooting the shield tablet worth it with unlocking the bootloader and then rooting?

Help with LTE Connection Problems topic

Hi, I have the Moto X 2014 pure edition and I am on consumer cellular. Consumer cellular is basically AT&T if you have not heard of it. My problem is my LTE connection. When I turn my phone on in the morning, I have an LTE signal. When my LTE signal goes under two bars I get pushed down to HSPA. However, once I go to HSPA my phone never goes back to LTE even when I know I have full bars. I have tried multiple APN settings so I don't believe that they are the problem. I will post screenshots from LTE discovery. This app shows the spinal strength of the connection. Both screenshots are from the exact same location within 20 seconds of each other. The only reason I got the LTE signal is because I set my phone to LTE only mode which I can't keep it in because I there is not volte here. Please help. Thanks in advance.

I am new on here. I have looked and haven't been able to find anything on the internet that helps much. I am running android 4.4.4 Paranoid. I was using my phone this morning and everything was fine. I was connected to my home WiFi. When I went to school my phone wouldn't connect to internet. I would just say "searching..." I rebooted my phone and and the WiFi appeared and I tried to connect and it said "network connection failed". I can't figure out what is wrong. should I factory reset?, flash a new rom? (by the way I am not super smart and advanced on these kind of things so If your solution is complicated please provide detailed instructions.)
