Anyway to enable USB mass storage for car use? topic

I really want to be able to plug in my nexus 6 on my car and be able to play audio. But no matter what I do nothing happens. Anyone have a solution?

Seriously, I am of a generation that struggles valiantly to cope with IT, and is looked at pityingly by offspring with the odd comment that "well, you do try, Dad " and " well, you usually get there in the end...." !

Which is about right I suppose ! He also tries to sort me out, but is a way away, so not always on tap .... :o

However, having succumbed to the delights of the Tab S 10.5 (white, 16g, 128micro card) following an intensive "WHICH" test and review (which gave it the edge over ipad-ery), I am struggling a bit with some simple features - but love the tablet itself, a delight to use, superb picture, very long-lived battery life, excellent response etc...., easy on the eye, and nice to hold.
In short, I'm generally thrilled with it .

But a few things beat me, the main annoyance being I can't figure how to simply bookmark a site/page for easy reference - i.e. how to do it, and then how to access it when needed.
For now, it's my biggest bugbear, but if anyone can help with this, I'll master that before exposing my ignorance any more just yet - I do prefer to find out for myself, but this has me flummoxed !
Here's hoping a kindly soul takes pity on me ..... :rolleyes:

Anyway to hide navigation bar or make it transparent? topic

Hello everyone,,
I want to hide the navigation bar or make it transparent. I tried an app that should replace the stock bar with one that has autohide capability, but to said thay my device is not rooted (It actually is) and ended up putting the new bar on top of the stock bar!.

Any ideas or working apps?

[Q] Anyway to remove Task Manager/Close all from Recents? topic

Every time I open my recent apps it becomes a game of Operation to try and not hit either the Task Manager or the Close All buttons while scrolling or reaching for the hardware buttons. It's infuriating to work on my phone and have to worry swiping those two. Anyway I can remove them?

Anyway to bulk move apps from the app drawer to home screen? topic

Just restored all my apps to a new phone using Titanium but the only drawback to that manoeuvre is all 150 apps are in the app drawer now and I need to drag each shortcut individually to the home screen. Is there a setting to tell Titanium to put shortcuts on the home screen?

Is there anyway now for me to bulk move apps from the app drawer to home screen?
There must be an app, an exposed or play store app that can do this, my phone is rooted - its a Galaxy Note 2 touch wiz 4.42.
For future reference is there anyway to backup my home screen folders and app shortcut setup when moving to a different phone/hardware?

I'm running the lollipop update on my 16gb shield (which I'm surprised it's not 5.0.2) and I get a very poor Wi-Fi signal on both my 2.4 and 5ghz Wi-Fi signals compared to my other devices. Is there anyway to give the antenna a little bit of a boost instead of having to reposition my router? Also, is rooting the shield tablet worth it with unlocking the bootloader and then rooting?
