Hi! I'm using Nokia lumia 1320, i know i am interfering but there is no forum on 1320 so i just posted here my concern i hope u dont mind.
My issue is that whenever i connect my phone to my pc "MTP Device Driver" is always failed can u tell me wat to do? ur help will be highly appreciated. tnx in advance/.

I have been able to UNLOCK my bootloader, as I have a nice unlocked padlock when I boot the device, but it stays in fastboot mode now.

When I try to
START \ RECOVERY MODE \ RESTART BOOTLOADER
it just loops right back to the FASTBOOT MENU

I have tried fastoot oem unlock and I get
FAILED (remote: Already Unlocked)
Finished. . . . . total time 0.329s

But if I try
fastboot boot LGGW-rootboot.img
I get

downloading 'boot.img'...
OKAY [ 0.344s]
booting...
FAILED (remote: dtb not found)

I have tried to put the device into FIRMWARE UPDATE MODE and it just sits there waiting to be updated, but I cant seem to get the firmware over.

Can some help me to install CM12 on Samsung S4 At&t 1337.

I tried both using TWRP and ROM manger, at the end it gives a message saying : failed to verify whole file signature and aborts and restart the phone back.

Can someone give some pointers on how to by pass the signature validation during installing CM12 on S4 At&t.

So last week I reverted back to stock recovery to get the OTA 4.4.4 update. That went fine, so last night I tried to install a custom recovery again... which I'm not sure was actually successful, but basically, the phone is now stuck in hboot/fastboot. Attempting to reboot into recovery just reboots the phone into fastboot.

I unlocked and did S-off last year. Had a recovery (not sure which, I think twrp) but was still on stock rom. Interestingly, the banner at the top used to say the software was modified, but ever since I got this problem it now reads "software status: official". Also, the value for both the "radio" and "OpenDSP" fields on the fastboot screen is "INVALID_VER_INFO", which I don't know is pertinent or not but I don't think it was like that before.

I did a ton of research and I found this unresolved thread which seems to have the exact same situation. To be specific, "adb devices" command doesn't show any devices, "fastboot devices" shows the device, multiple attempts at flashing different recoveries via fastboot fail, running an RUU exe from windows fails (error [170]: USB CONNECTION ERROR), running a bootable RUU from extSD card fails (after it asks me if I want to update, and I select yes, it then returns a "partition update failed" error).

I'm seriously stumped and I'm not sure what else I can do at this point. Any advice or help?

I did not find any solution on Internet

For information :
o I have the same issue with ClockWork recovery and TWRP 2.6.0.0
o I tried to un-mount /cache
o I can install CyanogenMod 7 (Android 2.3.3) without issue
o I used BlackRose and resized system to 250 MB and cache to 16 MB


Is there someone who want and can help me ?

Failed to validate system image & stuck in fastboot topic

Hello, back in december I was trying to load up an app on my phone but in a video the guy said to download chainfire so I did and installed the driver and my phone got stuck in the warning unlocked bootloader screen and I really can't remember what I did but I did something with downloading the system restore image but it wouldn't work so I changed up the files and now my phone is stuck in fastboot and no longer is usable so I just threw it in my drawer and never used it again up until now here I am asking for help on how to resolve this issue. I'm no android techie so I really don't know much about anything other than rooting phones. My phone is a Moto G XT1031. Also I can't charge my phone because when I leave it, the phone just keeps rebooting and it really doesn't charge much.

Hi all,

I am having problem in my bricked Asus zenfone 5.
My phone got bricked when it wasn't able to completely update. When i try to reset it, it is on bootloop already.

As of now i am doing the following
1) fastboot flash recovery
2) go to recovery menu
3) do an ADB sideload

roughly around 20 to 25% of adb sideload i get the following error in the CMD "failed to write data 'protocol fault (no status)'
then my phone restarts

Solutions I tried
-close antivirus
-already tried using 4 different usb cables
-end process of adb.exe (as suggested by one thread in xda)

I am also looking at this solution http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2720846
but i am clueless on how to do it. I don't have a clue regarding the "advance mode" they are talking about

[Q] OnePlus One not booting after failed update topic

I tried to install the new OTA, and it failed. I don't know exactly why, but it did. Now my phone won't boot. Next thing I know, it's completely out of battery, and won't charge up at all, it just loops around a blank screen and the screen that tells you that the phone is charging before it'll power on. This message disappears after three seconds, leaving the blank screen. If I unplug the charger, I can't power on, enter recovery or fastboot, nothing. Is there any way I could force it into fastboot?

I do know a little about using adb stuff in cmd, so that won't phase me, I'm just worried about my phone. Can anyone help?

[Q]Restore failed + install ROM failed in Recovery topic

Hi everyone,

I was helping a colleague put CM11 on his Kindle Fire HD. 7", was following this process for the complete install and everything was going fine until I tried to install CM11.

Here's what worked
- Rooting
- Downgrading in 7.2.3
- Installing TWRP and second bootloader using this video (details to XDA threads used in comments).

Here's my issue: installing the rom went fine. I went with cm-11-20141112-SNAPSHOT-M12-tate.zip from the official CM site then the Google Apps. When I rebooted, it loaded for a while and got stuck with the blue logo (2nd bootloader). After a while I turned it off because it looked like it was bootlooping, went back in recovery, tried to install it again and here we are:

- installing anything fails
- trying to restore my nandroid backup fails
- ADB sideload doesn't work

Any idea how I could get out of this mess? I don't have a factory cable, my ADB drivers should be working and I managed to use fastboot during the installation but now it doesn't seem to work well.

[Q] Bootloop after failed attempt to Flash new Firmware topic

As I wanted to update my ROM to Android 5, but with working WiFi, i tried to flash a new firmware. I'm on S-ON. My HBOOT is 3.16. After relocking and booting to RUU-Mode I attempted to flash the firmware.zip (version 4.19.161.2) which leaded to failure with error code 42. My CID is VODAP110 (Swisscom). After this not working i rebooted to fastboot, unlocked the bootloader again, reflashed recovery (philZ-touch, latest version). I tried to reboot and ended in a bootloop. So I went to recovery and reflashed the OS (SlimKat 4.4.4, build 8). After rebooting i was still in bootloop. I tried already to flush the cache, but this didn't help either.

Anybody had this experience or knows what to do, for bring my phone back to working? It mustnt be Android 5, but just working, so I can make phone calls again.

I've just attempted to do a Nandroid backup through TWRP but during the System backup my phone rebooted itself and now it's stuck on the Samsung logo. Is there any way to save it or am I going to have to wipe it and start over?

I am new on here. I have looked and haven't been able to find anything on the internet that helps much. I am running android 4.4.4 Paranoid. I was using my phone this morning and everything was fine. I was connected to my home WiFi. When I went to school my phone wouldn't connect to internet. I would just say "searching..." I rebooted my phone and and the WiFi appeared and I tried to connect and it said "network connection failed". I can't figure out what is wrong. should I factory reset?, flash a new rom? (by the way I am not super smart and advanced on these kind of things so If your solution is complicated please provide detailed instructions.)
