Hey all. My nephew has this tablet and I'm having issues getting the WiFi to turn on. It is constantly trying to turn on and I can't stop it even after turning phone off and on.

Any suggestions? Its on 4.4.4

Z3 Wifi Problem topic

Hi,
I have recently bought a Z3 Compact.
I noticed that the wifi drops from time to time.
It still shows as connected but no data can be sent or received.
I have to disconnect and reconnect to the network so that I can continue to use.
My Samsung Note Edge had a similar problem and was solved through diabling Wifi Power Save.
Since Z3 don't dialer I could not enter Service Mode to disable that.
Is there any solve to this issue?

Does anyone came across wifi problem like my Alcatel, I'm on android 4.4.2. I get wifi signal when I close to the router 1 meter, I can connected to wifi no problem. But if I move farther away I lost wifi connection, I don't know if the software issues or it there fix? If anyone have the lollipop for this Alcatel pop icon,I would like to flash it to see the wifi can be fix.

[Q] WiFi doesn't work when Bluetooth is connected topic

I apologize for the bad title,

When I connect to my Mi Band via BT, my WiFi stops functioning. If I disable BT, WiFi starts working, but then I can't connect to BT. I'm on 5.0.2, and I had CM12, and I also tried Slim Rom, but the issue persisted across both ROMs.

Does anyone have an idea as to what could be causing this?

Wi-Fi keeps running, while it turned Off.. topic

Actually it was okay before.
But after few days when I wrongly played with different Wi-Fi settings;
now when I look at the detailed battery consumption view, the WiFi bar keeps running all the way, while I kept it turned off..
I also have the "scanning always available option turned off."
Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep is set to Never..
My location setting is set to high accuracy.

Please give some suggest..
Or, Someone tell me what was the Default Wi-Fi setting..
Note: I don't want to Factory Reset.

So recently my phone's battery has been drianing even while in deep sleep.

I noticed that even though I'm on my home WiFi, and the the phone works perfectly on the WiFi, that Better Battery Stats says that I have no data connection while connected to the the WiFi.

So if I leave it on WiFi for 1 hour, the I have service with no issues, but it also says I have no data connection for that hour. How can that be? How can I have Data, yet the phone says I don't?

If I turn WiFi off, I have no issues. 1 hour of mobile data, no issues with service, and the no data connection is gone

I'm actually getting better battery life on mobile data than WiFi.

These stats are all on Batter battery stats.

My VZW S4 is on the NC5 software and I'm on the MK2 bootloader and radios.

I also upgraded to the Verizon Fios Quantum 5ghz router, so I don't know if this is the difference. But my wife's S5 isn't having these issues. My S4 repeated disconnects from the router's 5ghz, but her S5 does not! I believe it's ll related.


Any ideas would greatly help!

BT, WiFi nor mic not working topic

I've had lately a lot of issues with my phone. Everything started after updating to lollipop when my mic started not to work. Yesterday after updating to ARHD 91.1 I noticed that my BT and WiFi don't find any devices or networks.
I've tried to downgrade to different versions and stock rom but non of them fixed my problems.
Any ideas how to fix this?

SW2 and Xperia T wifi problem topic

Hi guys, i have sw2 and xperia t running stock rom 4.3, when my phone and sw2 are connected wifi on my phone doesnt work, when i turn off bluetooth wifi works again, how can i fix it i even did factory reset, i would like to stay on this rom, any solution?

Possible solution for Galaxy Note 2 N7100 WiFi problem topic

Dear friends
I'm going to describe the steps i took for fixing the WiFi problem of my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 N7100.
The problem started last january, when the device got the latest 4.4.2 update from Samsung. By that time, it was not rooted.
WiFi started to turn off by itself, WiFi slider was grey and wont turn on again, searching for ip adress, etc...
I did everything i could find over the internet and nothing fixed it, after 1 month of search i was about to give up.

1. Flash stock 4.3 ROM from Sammobile using Odin 3.09, in my case the ROM was this:http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/d...00ZTOEMK3_ZTO/
I tried this with the lates 4.4.2 ROM without success.

2. Do a data wipe/factory reset from the stock recovery utility.

3. Flash philz_touch_6.48.4-n7100 recovery utility using Odin 3.09. File here: https://goo.im/devs/philz_touch/CWM_...n7100.zip.md5/

4. Root your device by installing SuperSU-v2.40 from philz recovery utility. Get it here: http://download.chainfire.eu/641/Sup...erSU-v2.40.zip

7. I'm very happy with Android 4.3 and WiFi working again, if you wanna try to update to 4.4.2, do it at your own risk. :)

Modem Crashing upon Wifi no signal topic

Hello, any assistance would be great here! I'd like to avoid doing a full complete reinstall but, if its necessary and if thats what it comes down to, so be it. Here's whats happening. It seems every time i switch my WiFi off or it loses WiFi signal, the radio completely crashes and won't connect to mobile network anymore. I have to do a reboot and upon reboot all works fine. Very frustrating! I've tried reinstalling the modem and trying different modems to no avail. I'm at a loss as its rather frustrating a waste of battery having to reboot the phone. If i never use WiFi and let it stay on mobile network all the time, i never have the issue. Or if i stay in WiFi all the time, no issue. Anyone else ever have this issue?

Lg G3 Wifi constantly at 'turning on', need help please! topic

Hi guys,

My f400l has been experiencing issues for a while now. One morning, I woke up to find an unresponsive device. Took out battery and turned it on again to find that the device had partially reset itself (ie. going back to stock launcher and layout, missing apps). Device was still rooted so I tried to restore apps and settings via titanium backup. However, phone kept freezing throughout restore process.

Next, I decided to flash back to stock. This is when i noticed that wifi would remain at 'wifi turning on' but never actually turn on. Additionally, bluetooth could not be turned on. I then upgraded to lollipop via normal firmware update from lg software on my pc. Phone then would freeze after every 2 mins.

After trialing many rooms, I am now on cloudyg3 2.1 but wifi/bluetooth are still not working and phone still freezes occasionally (usually at the beginning of the day).

Really at a loss here, can anyone suggest what seems to be happening and what I can do about it?

[Q] Need help fixing WiFi topic

Hi all, I got myself in a bind here. I came from NK1 stock. I used ODIN to downgrade to NC5, TowelRooted, ODINed back to NK1. Installed BusyBox and Safestrap. Made a backup of stock slot in Safestrap. Everything up to that point was flawless.

So I created ROM slot 1 in Safestrap, and installed Hyperdrive v20. The install seemed to go well, but upon booting into Hyperdrive, there was no WiFi. Stock still had WiFi. No big deal, just need to flash gigilie's WiFi fix, right? Well I installed the zip in Safestrap, no errors occurred, but it did not fix WiFi.

So I decided to go back to stock until I could figure out the problem, but suddenly my PIN code no longer worked on the lock screen; I had to factory reset stock. Now that I've done the factory reset, there's no WiFi in stock, either. What's my next step?

Here's the deal. I have recently been forced into getting this note 3 through insurance claim, have been nexus user forever and I must say I was peeved. Though I will admit that this phone does have its benefits as well. Anyways, when I first started using this phone I was pleased with the speeds in my new area (i have moved) on 4G. I have been more than dissatisfied with the internet here as it is appallingly slower than anything I can remember from the past of my life. Anywhoo, deal is that I have an unlimited plan and don't care if i run 4G all the time on my phone. For the first while I didn't get onto WiFi till one day at work, suddenly updates happened all over the place. I tested this a few times, and sure enough I am unable to update or even download certain apps from the play store without being on WIFI. I know this is hilarious, but my Clash of Clan mates sure were unimpressed when I couldn't join a war. So I have been researching all over and trying hard to figure out what I can do. Google Play is set up to download over both data and WiFi connections. My Samsung settings? Well I can't seem to find any settings that would make a difference on that. I have spent countless hours trying to figure this out without avail. I have been coming to this forum without posting forever it seems because you guys cover everything so well that usually I can search and find the answer without too many problems. Hi guys, I'm new here. I've a Galaxy Y s5360. Once I installed Cyanogen in it. But now I have returned to Stock room. But I have found thaty wifi is not working anymore. When I on the wifi, it shows scanning and scanning and scanning. It can not detect any network. Moreover, the hotspot is also showing error. I've free wifi at my college, but unfortunately I can't use it. Hope you guys can give me a solution. Thanks in advance.

hi, i have a little problem and let me explain it.

i have a mexican moto maxx and i decide to update to lollipop and i followed the instruction, downloaded the br firmware and then flash the files that are listed, then i update to lollipop, but i didnt like very much lollipop, i think it need a little more tweaks for work better and i decide to downgrade to kit kat again, and i follow some instruction like for example flash all files from br and then i thought i could just flash the mx files and leave it like factory.

but it didnt work like i thought, i was not able to flash system and other img like this, i just flashed radio and now my wifi is not working, i tried to reflash the radio from the mx file but im still not making it work, the wifi just dont turn on.

my phone still have the bootloader locked, any ideas?:(
