[Q] Battery replacement for AT&T S3 topic

I'm sure this must have been covered years ago, but...I have a Galaxy 3 . Love it, but the battery is showing its age. I've checked this forum for battery threads, and the ultimate choice seems to be Anker 2200 mah. However, it appears it is no longer available anywhere. I don't necessarily want a larger capacity battery, and certainly don't want to have to replace the back panel of the phone. Are there any other really good replacement batteries out there? I see tons of them, all make in China, with fair to poor reviews. Any suggestions?

Let me get straight to the point.

Nexus 5 Lollipop 5.0.2, with xTrasmooth ROM with no problems with battery whatsoever... but suddenly I get around 16% drained overnight when I would get much less before.

After a clean install, the only thing I did was install alpha xPosed with a few modules (Xgels, Gravity, Youtube adaway, Youtube background enabler).

Can anyone tell me how to show logs or look for wakelocks and things like that to show battery stats?

Dear all, I would like to ask, why my phone battery always drop to 0% suddenly when it was about 40% or 30% few seconds before?
I'm currently using CM11 ROM and I have tried to calibrate the battery but it is not working.
Is that possible that the problem is comes from my physical battery but not my ROM?

[HELP] How can I reset the battery stats? topic

Lately I've been having some serious problems with my One, The battery has been dying at 35-40%, And it's slowly getting worse. I'm losing around 10% power every 20 min with minimal usage.
I'm running InsertCoin 6.0.2 with the stock kernel.

I know it was possible to reset the battery stats on my HTC Nexus One in the recovery, But I've gone through every possible setting and can't find anything remotely close to what was possible.

Can I do this now?

Mobile data battery drain when phone not in use topic

I'm running lollipop on my n910c and having problems with battery drain when using mobile data. I didn't have this issue when on kitkat. Leaving mobile data on, even when not using the phone, seems that many apps that use the internet keep draining battery non stop. This doesnt happen when connected on WiFi.
Apps or processes like Google services, Samsung push service, even whatsapp and viber show up in the battery ussage when phone has been not in use most of the time. None of these show when using wifi and the difference in battery drain is huge.
Right now i dont have screenshots but will upload when possible.
I used to keep my mobile data always on. Now only when i really need it.
A friend of mine has an S5 and has the exact same issue after upgrading to lollipop.
Has anyone found a fix for this or am i doing something wrong?

Sorry for long post but i hope to find a solution which may help anyone with this problem and I think there are a lot of them.

Hi all. I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 (I-747) running the latest d2lte nightly build of CM11. What brings me here today is very bad battery problems. These have burdend me since I got the phone (before I installed CM11.) I would like to know what could pottentally be causing the problem. I have tried many things to fix such as turning off all not needed features, greenify certain apps, enabling android runtime(ART), going to privacy advisior and turning off all keep awake settings for my apps, and turning off sync settings. Here is a 50 minute test showing you all the battery drain(to me) of my phone with little to moderate usage. All help is appciated thanks!

Every time I charged my phone to 100% after I unplug the cable it goes to 85% in 30 minute ~ 1 hour, after that it acts normally !!! so could anyone explain to me that ?!!

Plus it takes too much time to charge from 95~100% maybe 45 minute to get that 5%, but it only takes 1 hour and 30 minute to get to 95%

so I just want to know if it does related to a H/W Issue or a S/W

Hello! Last night my Nexus 5 was charging by itself overnight, i bought the phone second hand 2 days ago(the phone have 4 months of use). What is the problem? My battery life is pretty good, i'm on completly stock rom unrooted. Also 10 min ago my phone charged from 5% to 6% by itself.

My battery is horrible, terribly horrible. I was using Validus, but battery was bad, so I change to XenonHD. Battery has improved, but not enough. Now I'm using CM 12, and it's worse.
I run anything them I want, but the battery is my concern.
So, what do you advise me? I'm going to test B14CKB1RD and SaberSunset.

Battery stats shows WiFI on, but it wasn't? topic

The battery stats shows that at times WiFi was on, but I never turn it on. I do have the "scanning always available" disabled. Any ideas why this is happening?

I have read a lot of threads saying how horrible the battery life is on this Lollipop Rom. I love ViperOne Roms!!! I have loved them since the M7 days and dont like to run any other Rom. My only complaint is the battery life of this particular version of the Rom, 3 .2.1 was amazing! I just wanted the Lollipop and such. My question is...? Has anyone found a kernel or something that gets better than 4-6 hours of phone use. I unplug my phone at 6am Monday-Friday and by noon I am at 15-10% I don't play games.. I am E-mailing, SMS, Music, Talk (6-10 calls lasting 2-3 mins each) surfing the web. I don't use my phone any different than the 3.2.1 version of the ROM and I would be at 30-40% at 6pm . Someone Please Help Me Out Or Point Me In The Right Direction. Thank you and sorry this post is so long.

LG G3 Battery Life Drain topic

so i have my G3 for a week its the 32gb variant .
i just noticed today that the battery life suddenly dropped.
i always charge my phone when it reaches 2% and i don't know but it charges fast using the original charger
from 100% after like 5 mins it dropped to 96% and it drained even faster
look time to factory restored it but no avail it still shows the problem
have my screen brightness
@auto shows +2h battery use
@0% +2h battery use
@100% +2h battery use

Screen use at 50%

Dont want to start an argument over android vs IOS.

i have a note 4 and a iphone 6 plus.
i'm not really into ios but i have to give it to apple with their battery life with the iphone 6 plus.
This phone gives me 11-12+ hour ON SCREEN TIME. without turning anything off or doing any tweaks.
i was curious about this and went over to an iphone forum like XDA, only to find out that guys with a few tweaks are able to get 16hrs, 19hrs, even 21hrs ON SCREEN TIME.

whats holding our note to have such great battery life since it even have a bigger battery than i phone 6 plus.

Horrible battery life topic

One of the great things about the mate is the great battery life.
Or used to be, as mine seems to be going down the drain.

I'm running CM 10.1 by joe stone, and have enjoyed using it as my daily driver. But I thought that battery life was getting worse lately.

Well, today it has shown a horrible performance:

From fully charged to 13% in 9 and a half hours, with according to stats, 75% used for Android-system.
Can an android system get "dirty" over time or "clogged up" and is this a software thing, or is my battery dying?

Can you recommend any tests I can do?

Battery problem topic

Hello xda community , i got an international version of the galaxy s5 G900F non rooted with stock rom/kernel . Well the problem is whenever i fully charge my phone to 100% , the first 5-6% drains really fast in like 1 minute wich means its like i usualy start my full charge from 94% and not 100% . I've tried factory restoring or also flashing the stock rom all over again and i've also tried calibrating the battery but still without any positive results . Note: my phone is still new that i just bought 3 weeks ago and not a very old one ( means the battery is not dying )
