(dev)(carrier)(cm) mms only sending via wifi topic

hello captivate community, i have a question regarding sending picture via cm11. i picked up an i897 on ebay which was delivered a week ago and source built ktu84q using strictly cyanogenmod repos. after the joy of realizing the recovery is baked into the kernel......:eek: i was able to pursue my kitkat journey, no problem. im experiencing difficulty with sending a picture message however. airvoice is my carrier and data is working. wcdma preffered mode w/ 3g. h is data icon if its of any significance, and i manually entered the correct apn configuration and followed the instructions via the airvoice website. i also tried hangouts, which resulted with a message not sent. touch to retry. funny thing is, if my wifi is active, a picture message sends no problem. any suggestions?
