Is to possible to remotely forward the voice calls to and from a rooted android phone to the PC?

But i did not wanted to unlock bootloader becouse of some error that happened during unlocking it (cant solve it). So i found rooting tutorial without unlocked bootloader. I did everything what was in video, now i have custom recovery TWRP and clockworkmod.

Also i have SuperSU and Xposed installer on my phone and some of my default apps are missing.

But here's a problem. Basically i don't have root. All of root checkers are saying that i havent got root and root apps dont work.

Also SuperSU is saying "there is no SU binary installed, and superSU cannot install it , this is a problem. if you just upgraded to android 4.3 , you need to manually re-root-consult the relevant forums for your device"

What should i do if i want to root my device properly ? Can anyone give me step by step tutorial or something so i cant brick my phone ? (Im really scared of bricking :D)

Flashed ROM without gapps, help please topic

Hello everyone,

I am in a desperate situation at the moment, please help me out.
I had Paranoid 4.6 installed on my Nexus 5. Now I wanted to update to the new 5.0 Build Version. The problem is that I have installed the zip but I have completely forgot that I also had to install gapps too. When the ROM starts, I only see a black screen with a notification bar at the top and a "back" button on the bottom. The only thing I can do is to shut down or reboot my phone.

I can enter Clockworkmod recovery but I have no option to mount my USB storage to be able to copy the gapps zip into my phone, so I can install it or copy an old ROM version to install an older android.

I also tried to use adb sideload to send the gapps over adb to my phone, but I havent found any possibility to get my PC detect my Nexus 5 as a successful device. I am seeing my Nexus in my Device Manager with an exclamation mark, but I cant install any useful driver on it, even when downloading the newest drivers or something like that. The pinned thread "Diagnosing USB Driver and ADB issues in Windows" wasnt any helpful too.

Please show me a way to repair my phone again. I made a mistake and its useless now.

Sorry if I'm doing something wrong here, I've just made an account now because I'm in need of drastic help. I was trying to install CyanogenMod on my Moto G 1st generation. While it was on its first boot, it froze or something, so I did what the internet suggested and did a reset for everything. Then, obviously, when I tried to install CM12 again, I couldn't because it wasn't on the internal storage, and neither was the stock OS. So now all I can do is just sort of.. be on TWRP Recovery. I'm really worried about this, and all googling the question did was confuse me, so please, please, please can someone sum up what I need to do with links, just to either get CM12 back on internal storage, or recover stock. Thank you!

I had the problem of having quickly had the restriction of the number of text messages that can be sent, and I have found the solution, follow the guide ;)

All operations that you are at your own risk and bla bla bla, bla bla .. :p
(I made these manipulations every update and I've never had to worry ..)

Screens:

Introduction:
Google has had the good idea to limit the number of outgoing SMS to 100 per contact hour after which it will, every sms, confirm that you are sending the text message in question.
Some love sms bomb their friends by spamming them, it looks at the ..
Others have a family, a wife or a little too clingy girlfriend (s) and answer questions tantamount to send more than 100 SMS per hour :p

Tested under MIUI under RemICS, Paranoid Android, AOKP Milestone 6 , CM9. And in CM11 For my LG P710(by weritos)

Prerequisites:
- A Root Explorer (Root explorer, ES file explorer ..)
- A SQL editor (Editor SQLite, SQL manager ...)

Tutorial:

ICS,JB Method

1. Open your Root Explorer.
2. Go in /data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases/
Open settings.db your SQL editor
3. Open the database 'Secure'
4. Press the Menu button> New Record / New Table
5. As set name: sms_outgoing_check_max_count
6. MEMC value (value) type the maximum number of sms you want, personally I put 999999
7. Save.
8. Take back then go to the system table
9. Repeat steps ahead 4-7 and return to your root explo.
10. Go in /data/data/com.google.android.gsf/databases/
Open gservices.db
11. Open the database '' Main ''
12. Repeat steps 4-7.
13. Once saved close everything and reboot your phone ! ;)

Kit Kat Method :

1. Open your Root Explorer.
2. Go in /data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases/
Open settings.db your SQL editor
3. Open the database 'Global'
4. Press the Menu button> New Record / New Table
5. As set name: sms_outgoing_check_max_count
6. As value (value) type the maximum number of sms you want, personally I put 2000
7. Press the Menu button> New Record / New Table
8. As the name put: sms_outgoing_check_intervale_ms
9. As value (value) type the number of times that you want to reset the counter, personally I put 1.8 million (which corresponds to 15min)
10. Save.
11. Restart the phone.

This tutorial is not about me, the person has took from us (xda-devellopers) to translate for SGS-Team, and me re-translated for us (with guide kit-kat more)

This tutorial is only informative purpose, if you use a mobile to DoS you will be solely responsible!

Unfortunately, USB port isn't working,so I can't flash stock rom using PC
Can I convert ROM.img to *.zip to flash it with stock recovery??

My HTC One has a defective USB port (charging works but connection to PC doesn't)
Now I want to bring it in for repairs and for that purpose take it back to stock recovery and empty rom.

Since the USB port is busted I can't use ADB or anything like that so I'm looking for a (TWRP recovery) flashable file that let's me return to complete stock.

My phone is S-OFF and can stay that way for repairs in the Netherlands so just recovery and rom would be fantastic.

So I fully charged my Note 3 this morning.. unplugged then used it lightly just some phone calls and about 10 minutes of gaming . But when I checked the battery history details I see some areas where the percentage jumped up! For example as in the picture it jumped from 83 to 85 though it should discharged, is this normal . Apologies if this has been covered before, but couldn't find anything in search.

I'm setting up a new UK unit which is currently running 51.1.4.0_user_514005520. Can I update to 51.1.4.0_user_514006420 (1 version up) without root? That's the version that fixes kodi/spmc launch crash. I'm thinking maybe there is a dir I can copy the update to and reboot the device. But, even then, I would hazard a guess that you need root to copy it there :/

This is my first experience with a unrooted box since US launch (I imported one and rooted from the start) so not sure if this is possible to do. I want to avoid updating to the latest firmware if I can.

Nexus 4 won’t boot up/work without charger plugged in topic

My phone is shutting down automatically after showing “google” logo. I went back to stock lollipop 5.0.1 but the problem still persist. It’s working fine with the charger plugged in. If I remove the charger after switching on, if I kept it idle, it will stay on till the battery is empty. But if I try to do something it will shutdown. In recovery mode it works well without the charger.
Please help me is anyone facing the same issue.

I restored my s3 to stock before giving it to my niece but didn't realize twrp was still on there. I guess the phone is trying to get an ota update and ends up in twrp when restarting.

Pairing Android Wear without Android Phone or Table (Via Virtual Machine) topic

Hello everyone,
It's been a long time since I have viewed the XDA forums. A brief background of what I was working to accomplish was to activate and use an Android wear device without pairing to a phone. I did not find any articles online or procedures for this. What this method allows you to do is pair, fetch software, and get notifications (email etc.), via your PC. The basic test setup is running Android x86 v4.4-RC2 as a virtual machine under Parallels on a Macbook Pro. Steps are listed below. Hope this helps in others endeavors.

1. Initially install Parallels desktop. (Virtualbox was tested but would not work with the Bluetooth hardware_
2. Run the pre-configured experimental Android VM from Parallels initially creating the virtual machine.
3. After successfully installing the new Android VM bundled download Android x86 v4.4-RC2 iso.
4. Shutdown the initially created VM and mount the iso to a virtual cd drive. Set boot order to start with cd first.
5. After startup in grub go to the install Android option (last one)
6. During the install allow formatting of the virtual drive and overwrite the initial operating system that was installed with the new version.
7. After startup of the new virtual machine with the correct image setup your Google account to access the play store.
8. Download Google Wear and install.
9. Go to the vm settings while running and check to share both Bluetooth and web cam USB devices.
10. Go to settings in the Android VM and then Bluetooth. Attempt to pair with the watch.
11. A prompt will come up in the actual OS to pair with the watch, this is ok click on pair in the main os.
12. The main os will say the watch is not connected but the guest Android VM will now recognize the watch and start the pairing process.
13. Once pairing is complete simply use all functions that would normally be used in the virtual machine.
13a. In order to receive text message notifications by your computer when paired use a carriers text app such as Verizons connect app.

Has anyone modified the boot animation for stock ND7/Android 4.4.2 in order to remove the Verizon logo (so that the boot animation shows only the Samsung splash)? I know that this has been done for the 4.3 boot animation, but I can't find a modified version of the 4.4.2 one anywhere (the Samsung splash is different for each).

I'm ashamed to say how much time I've spent looking for this. :eek: I've searched throughout xda and Google and haven't found any luck. I've downloaded a few s5 boot animations as well as 3 roms for the international Note II, hoping to find the right ones, but they haven't been correct unfortunately. I've even tried using a couple qmg to png hacks in order to cut out the Verizon logo myself, but I haven't been able to get them to work right.

So this is my last resort. Has anyone happened to stumble upon this or know of an easier way for me to extract it?

Hi. My LG G2 Mini fall down on pavement. The front glass is break and touch don't work well. Display is ok. Man in GSM service told me that he only changed all set consist of front glass, digitizer and LCD because exchange without LCD is impossible. It's true? I finded on internet cheaper set without LCD than with LCD. If the repair is possible have I try fix it on my own or search qualified person?
