What is the best AOSP based rom for the Galaxy S5 G900F? topic

Title says it all really. I am really disliking 5.0. It's slow and has killed my battery life so I am looking for a speedy and feature-full rom to flash onto my device.

Hi everyone,

I would like to ask anyone this.. Is there any chance (or development in progress) to install Windows (no matter if Win 7, 8 or 8.1) onto Intel Bay Trail-T based Android Tablets ???
In my case it is Lenovo TAB S8-50F (currently with Android KitKat 4.4.2) with Intel Atom Z3745 (64bit CPU), 2GB RAM, GPU Intel HD (screen resolution 1920x1200). I believe these specs should make enough performance for Windows.

As I am a more advanced user only... Is there any developer who has the same idea and is able to think about details (BIOS, drivers and so on) ??

[WorkAround]"Cant connect to camera" error in all cm11 based roms. topic

Ok guys!! We all know that we have been affected by "cant connect to camera error" in cm11 based roms.It is very frustrating being not able to capture at the right moment.So i here present a workaround method.By following this method we guys dont have to reboot our phones to fix the error.It is just a temporary fix that will somewhat "fix" the problem til or devs fixes it.

Follow these steps:-

1)Search for "cm11 camera fix" on play store. Or download the attached apk.(skip step 2 3 &4 if u downlaod attached app).
2)An app will appear "dont" install the app.
3)Open the description of the app and in the last u will find a link to "restart camera.apk".
4)Visit the link and downlaod the app.
5)Install it and Now whenever u face the error , just click on the " restart camera"app..
6)This will reset the camera driver and "fix" the issue.U dont have to reboot the phone.

[Q][REQUEST] Moto Display or Active Display on CM12 based ROMs topic

Hey guys, I don't know how to port apps, and I'm starting at programming now, so, I see that Xda have awesome developers, and that we don't have the Active Display on non-stock based ROM's, I know that CM12 have Ambient Display, but I think the Moto Display is better, and I'm here to request one thing:

Please, some people have ported the Camera/Gallery apps to CM12, and someone maybe can do the port of MotoDisplay/Active Display. I know that porting is difficult, but there are awesome devs here, them can do a better work than me.

So, thanks for the awesome forum, if someone can do, please do this and post it. I know that all the Moto X users would love this. Peace✌. I hope that someone are going to do it.

[Q][AOSP] build like stock based on AOSP topic

Hi,
I want to build AOSP including google apps/services to make a similar factory image as possible as.
First time, I just build a AOSP with sevral google apps but It's very insufficient.

I can see some error logs because of missing libraries, apks.
and I found that many proprietary blobs are not founded on AOSP.
Maybe I can porting it one by one manually , but it seems very annoying work...

I just want to build AOSP with google apps for nexus 5 5.0.1.
I'm a noob and worry about my silly question.
Are there any easy way for it?
Also very little tweaked custum rom should helped me.

Which is the Stock/Lollipop based ROM closed to stock? topic

Main idea is that I have started to like LG's stock ROM.. never thought will happen. I like many of the features like the in call small floating window, their incoming call windows in locked/unlocked state.

I have been installing cooked stable ROMS on my HTC's for long time... until got the Oneplus One; which I did not even root :)

Now want to get some de-bloated and optimized ROM to get some performance improvements as I really think the phone chokes on display sometimes..

I don't see the very familiar HTC ROM chefs here.. so any recommendations will be greatly appreciated. Thanks !

No signal on nexus 6 .Based in India topic

I'm based in India . I am not getting any signal on my nexus 6.
My Settings are as follows:- Preferred network is 3G.
