[Q] Install Windows to Intel Bay Trail-T based Tablets (originaly with Android) topic

Hi everyone,

I would like to ask anyone this.. Is there any chance (or development in progress) to install Windows (no matter if Win 7, 8 or 8.1) onto Intel Bay Trail-T based Android Tablets ???
In my case it is Lenovo TAB S8-50F (currently with Android KitKat 4.4.2) with Intel Atom Z3745 (64bit CPU), 2GB RAM, GPU Intel HD (screen resolution 1920x1200). I believe these specs should make enough performance for Windows.

As I am a more advanced user only... Is there any developer who has the same idea and is able to think about details (BIOS, drivers and so on) ??

SiriusXM app for tablets on an xperia ZL? topic

I have Xperia ZL C6506 and my question is if the SiriusXM app for tablets can be easily ported to work on my xperia. I use my Xperia as a dedicated device that stays in my truck hooked up to my Appradio and it stays in landscape mode. The SiriusXm app is optimized for portrait making it difficult to navigate. The tablet version has the stations and categories lined up on the side in landscape instead of the bottom. If this is possible and someone could send me the apk that would be great.

[Q] 35 tablets running at the same time topic

Feel free to move this thread, but I thought I should ask somewhere people know about hardware.

I own a local store which has about 35 stands for each product, and me and my team want to run slideshows (picture+video) in each one.

My guess is that I should use tablets.

Why tablets?

a) Slideshows needs a software to run them. Displays are just displays.
b) KODI (XBMC) app is a good option, as each Kodi would also run a Samba server and I could send the media I need to play to each one from one computer.
c) I looked for digital photo frames, but they don't support any kind of networking, and the few ones I've found are as expensive as tablets.

My questions are,

1) Is it fine if they are connected to AC power all day 24/7? Our local is opened 24hs. Should I take off their batteries? I don't know if tablets are prepared for that purpose.
2) Is there a difference between generic tablets and Samsung Galaxy Tabs 3? In fact, I really don't need high-end tablets, I just need to run the slideshows. But my only fear is the device-life.

How to enter Network Unlock COde in windows 8/8.1 tablets topic

Hi

I have a samsung ativ 500t and it's locked to rogers canada
I got the network unlock code but I'm not able to enter it. I don't have a rogers sim and when I enter a different sim, the device displays network as "unammed" and refuses to connect to it or pop up the "enter unlock code" dialoge
the embedded modem inside the tablet is Sierra Em7700

any ideas?
