[Q] HTC Backup and Sync Manager on GPE HTC One M8 topic

I apologise if this is in the wrong thread, but I recently converted my phone from Sense to Google Play Edition, backing up my phone via the HTC Sync Manager, and HTC Backup, and this is where my problem starts. When I tried to restore, I came to know that neither work on non-sense devices, and they are both backed up, so my question is, is there a way for me to find the backup file and somehow get it onto my GPE M8? So that I can get all of my old apps, pictures etc back onto my converted phone?
