instagram crashing topic

got my hands on a sprint note edge last night and one thing i notice right off the bat is when i set up my instagram it won't say open more than a minute or so then it crashes and gives me the message unfortunately instagram has stopped

anyone know whats going on with that. a quick google search didn't come up with anything on the first page. all my other apps seem to be fine. i did go into app settings and clear cache. no luck, then i uninstalled updates. no luck
