NOOB with a question about missing radio band after installing CM10.1.3 topic

Sorry if this has been answered but I searched quite a bit and didn't see anything that looked similar! I flashed my Atrix HD to CM 10.1..3 because the phone is old and was slowing down. This was my fist attempt at a process like this and I figured it out and the phone is working great except I don't get LTE speeds like I was getting before. After a lot of research I think I know why but I can't figure out the fix. I checked my wife's phone (stock S3) by dialing *#0011# and her radio band is band 17. I went into my settings using *#*#4636#*#* and there is no Band 17 available. The only bands it shows is AUS2, USA, Cellular, PCS, Band Class 6 and Band Class 15.
Is there a way to enable Band 17 in Cyanogenmod 10.1.3???

[Q] (NOOB) Sprint Samsung Galaxy S5 (G900P UD)loops to recovery topic

Hello everyone,

I have rooted 2 s5's so far using the step by step directions I found on a few websites. This was late last year. My friend recently got a new S5 from Sprint and it is blue. The box notes it as a G900P UD.

So I Odin'ed SuperSU and Philz on it, loaded back into the sprint stock rom, then applied root, deknoxed it, then booted it into recovery mode. I then attempted to load the MOAR NE5 v1.1 rom (After factory reset, clear cache, and clear dalvik cache. This is the same one I put on the other 2 S5's). When I rebooted, it would hang at the Android logo screen indefinitely. I then tried the newer version of MOAR v 6.0 OA6. With this rom, it loads the splash screen then hangs for about 5 minutes before booting back into recovery.

Any ideas? I found the link to the SM-G900P Full Restore with directions to just odin it on there. Will this fix it? Or is there anything else the community can suggest? I will be upfront and say I have never used ADB for any of this, but I am willing to learn

[Q] TF 700 only boots into TWRP - please advise this NOOB! topic

I have an unlocked TF700 (twrp v 2.5.0.0) and I was running cromi-x. it began to crash a lot so i tried to flash a new rom and i must've done something wrong because now the tablet will not boot up. I can get into twrp and perform the options listed (install, backup, restore, wipe, mount, settings, advanced, reboot) but nothing seems to help. I haven't played with this in probably 6 months so i'm not sure where to start. Navigating these forums is like reading latin to me. I'm sure there is an explanation for this but I can't find it. Can some one link me to an existing thread if this has been discusses previously or help me out? I can't seem to get anything working on this and it's driving me crazy. I know I need to provide extra information to help identify this issue but i'm not sure what that info that is. Any help would be appreciated!

Also, I've tried a factory reset from twrp as well and it gives me the following messages
E:unable to mount '/external_sdcard
Updating partition details...
E:Mount: Unable to find partition, for path '/'

When I reboot following this, it takes me directly to TWRP.

I'm guessing my tablet can't find my SD card? Maybe that's an easy fix?

Noob needs help please! (soft bricked M8) topic

Hello guys,

I really hope you clever folks can help me out. I have a HTC M8 (UK O2, CID O2---001) That I had rooted and I wanted to OTA update it. I flashed a stock recovery to it etc but the update kept failing due to what I believe was the Harman Kardon mod.

To get around this I did an RUU firmware install, put OTA update on SD card and tried to update from stock recovery but the update keeps failing. :crying:

I really do not know what to do, if anyone can suggest a way to update with stock firmware or suggest a custom rom I can flash that will work with UK O2 M8 I will be so incredibly grateful!!

Complete noob - want to return to stock topic

Hi,

I flashed CM 11 onto my One Mini M4 back in November, but am kind of fed up with the crashes etc and want to go back to FULL stock, so I can perhaps sell on the phone and get something a little faster
How can I do this? I don't understand which one of the threads is the FULL stock HTC ROM, and some say "flash this firmware first" which I don't quite understand either. Also I wouldn't mind being able to "relock" the bootloader and put the original recovery back on

I need help big time.. yes i am a noob topic

So i had the upgrading android problem constantly happening when i rebooted my phone i found a thread and it said to delete the odex files in system i believe so i deleted them in my system data file. i restarted my phone to see if id still have this problem and i didnt but now i have a new one my 4g lte boot screen for my s3 repeats itself.... and now i cannot use my phone at the moment besides recovery. So can anyone save me in my time of need? i am running stock rom root gs3 jb 4.1.2
