[Q] Phone boots only to recovery mode. Help! topic

My phone is rooted but i don't have a custom ROM. I downloaded the software OS update and it downloaded. Then it asks if the phone to be installed. I clicked yes. The phone then rebooted to recovery mode. Then i tried to reboot and it went back to recovery mode. Then I tried installing my backups and that didn't work either. I am not sure what to do now. In case if it helps, I have a LG G3.

My phone only boots into recovery mode topic

When I boot up my phone, it only goes into recovery mode. It doesn't go to anything else even when I restart it from the recovery screen. My phone model # is SM-G900V and is the Verizon model. It happened ever since I accidentally installed a NCG kernel to Android Lollipop 5.0. Any help will be appreciated.

I have an unlocked TF700 (twrp v 2.5.0.0) and I was running cromi-x. it began to crash a lot so i tried to flash a new rom and i must've done something wrong because now the tablet will not boot up. I can get into twrp and perform the options listed (install, backup, restore, wipe, mount, settings, advanced, reboot) but nothing seems to help. I haven't played with this in probably 6 months so i'm not sure where to start. Navigating these forums is like reading latin to me. I'm sure there is an explanation for this but I can't find it. Can some one link me to an existing thread if this has been discusses previously or help me out? I can't seem to get anything working on this and it's driving me crazy. I know I need to provide extra information to help identify this issue but i'm not sure what that info that is. Any help would be appreciated!

Also, I've tried a factory reset from twrp as well and it gives me the following messages
E:unable to mount '/external_sdcard
Updating partition details...
E:Mount: Unable to find partition, for path '/'

When I reboot following this, it takes me directly to TWRP.

I'm guessing my tablet can't find my SD card? Maybe that's an easy fix?

TWRP Boots after battery drain to 0 on HTC One S topic

I manage to root my phone using Windroid which I found here and I installed a TWRP on the HTC ONE S (S3) which has JB 4.1.1. The phone was stock and wasn't rooted or modded in any way. Now everythnig works on the phone fine, only the problem is, since I will gift this unit, when the battery is drained to 0 when unit is plugge in with charger the TWRP pops up...than I have to go RESTART>System to boot into phone's default system...

Is there a way to stop booting into Recovery when battery is depleted to 0. I have no idea why this happens :eek:
