[Q] Flash latest official RUU (Android 5.0.1) topic

Hey xda
i just saw HTC USA released the latest RUU files for HTC One M7 which is ofcourse android lollipop
The problem is i am not able to flash it to my M7.
I am s-off unlocked and on Google Play Edition Lollipop.
I managed to change the CID to the RUU but still failed to flash it.
i think my MID is different.
Mine is PN0710000.
is there anyway to flash it without changing the mid?
if no then how to change mid?

[Q] Plex casting on latest stock FW topic

Every once in a while, I have problems casting movies and tv shows to my TV from the Plex app. At first I thought it was WiFi interference but it does it with multiple chromecasts in multiple locations. What happens is the video starts to stutter and then it seems to "buffer" but it really isn't buffering. I don't know what's causing it but I do know this only happens on the stock FW. I've wiped clean a few times and it still happens. When I do get the stuttering, casting will still work perfectly fine from my Desktop, tablet, and laptop. Also, this "bug" never happens on the same Z3c with CM12, so it must be a stock FW issue. Anyone else run into this problem?

Issue with latest Google search app topic

My Google search app doesn't actually show search results after using voice command "okay Google". It bros line it heard me then just closes out, never producing a result.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
Before the latest update it worked fine.

Issues with latest CM12 builds Sirius topic

Hello All,
I installed the latest CM12 build for Xperia X2, its been running good, apart from a couple of issues.
1. I use SBH20 bluetooth for audio and calls, and the connection to it keeps dropping. I've to reconnect it again n again.
2. The In-Call speaker mode is not functioning.
Hope someone can provide me with solutions. :)

Tutorial 1 : By Odin

How can i install the latest firmware version for the Mate 7 ?
I tried from the update section in the stock firmware but it does not find my update file.

Also, i am interested in a way of installing the firmware in case of a soft brick.
Is there any way like Samsung (with odin) or LG (LG Firmware utility)

I have a brand new Samsumg Galaxy S4 but I hate TouchWiz. I want to have the purest Android experience.

I'm a bit new with this phone and haven't used Android in two years now so I'm a bit lost.

What is the latest official Google Play Edition available for my S4? It doesn't have to be Lollipop (although that'd be nice), it can be on KitKat. As long as it's official and untouched (if such a thing exists)

I just downloaded 2.8.5 from the twrp website and flashed it but when I go into recovery it says the version is 2.8.2.1 so is that version 2.8.5 . I would have thought it would say version 2.8.5
Does anyone's else's say 2.8.2.1 instead of 2.8.5 ?
The zip file says 2.8.5

Install latest and keep rooted topic

Hi everyone.

I'm using CM11 44s and I just got OTA update.

The only modes I'm using are the CameraNext v11 and 3 way speaker mono mod, I believe from the same nice dev who mods the camera app.

If I'll flash the OTA update, I'll lose my root and my mods

Is there a way to flash the new CM version and not loosing root?
I'll then reflash the camera mod and speaker mod.


On a side note, why does it take so long to release lollipop to OnePlus devices?

Is there a recovery flashable .zip of the latest official stock T210 ROM? topic

I am looking for a custom recovery flashable .zip version of the latest official stock ROM for a T210 - the one dated January 22nd 2015 (KOT49H.T210XXBOA3). I wish to modify this to 'tweak' the stock apps - mainly to add the latest Google components to the /system partition. The stock 'T210XXBOA3_T210BTUBOA2_Home.tar.md5' file on sammobile.com is what I am after but in the .zip format with the '/system', '/META-INF' folders and the 'boot.img' file in the root.

Custom build latest CM11 Nightly? topic

I know the latest official CM11 nightly is the January 5th nightly from https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=bacon

However, there have been more recent commits to the CM11 branch as well as for the OnePlus One. Is there any unofficial CM11 builds going out there (no cherry picks, custom stuff) to incorporate the latest changes? Or would anyone be interested in doing that? (I'm too noob)
