It appears that choosing the silent option in the quick settings is not enough: the phone will mute notifications, but not the music player. An accidental tap on a music or video file will start it playing, with boomsound and all.

How can I mute the phone completely, such that video would automatically be muted and musuc as well. On a PC that's trivial - one can just turn off the speakers and the machine will not produce any sound regardless of whether you click on the music fule or not. Is thete an equivalent here?

How to keep knox 0x0 on lollipop custom ? topic

Hello, i have 4.4.2 custom rom installed by Mobile Odin, now i wanna install g00h room lolipop. But the biggest problem that i wanna keep knox 0x0, few people said it possible, by mobile odin. So i should flash that rom with 5.0 modem & bootloader in mobile odin? Or i should first go 4.4.2 to 5.0 and then install that Custom rom? knox 0x0 important :/ Any ideas?

Hi everyone.

I'm using CM11 44s and I just got OTA update.

The only modes I'm using are the CameraNext v11 and 3 way speaker mono mod, I believe from the same nice dev who mods the camera app.

If I'll flash the OTA update, I'll lose my root and my mods

Is there a way to flash the new CM version and not loosing root?
I'll then reflash the camera mod and speaker mod.


On a side note, why does it take so long to release lollipop to OnePlus devices?

Apps keep crashing... topic

Apps that are running in the background keeps crashing when using other apos. Especially annoying when listening to music on for example Deezer then the music stops and I have to restart the app again.

What might be the cause of this?

I installed a rooted image to my Z2 (D6503, 23.0.1.A.0.167, Germany, unbranded) with this guide to make some changes with XPosed. Now, I wonder if I can unroot the device again without losing my data and the settings made with XPosed. Is there a way? The problem is that some apps require the phone not to be rooted.

RootCloak won't help. The unroot option of SuperSU does not unlock those apps either.
