So I'm standing here using smartbro network in Philippines
My wife's galaxy grand prime G530H will connect to h+ on 900, 1800, 1900.

My note 4 910c will not and never did on any modem. Only will connect to H. The note 4 910c is capable of gsm900 And the other bands?

I am running bob4 modem. help?

Screenshots are from the galaxy grand prime. The same service mode on the note 4 just says band 1.

How do I get the note 4 to actually connect like it should?

[Q] phone wont boot after flash attempt topic

A couple days ago, within an hour of using my phone and everything seeming to be fine, my phone got stuck at the Galaxy Note II logo. Thinking that it locked up and reset itself or something like that while in my pocket, I pulled the battery because it didn't respond to the power button. after I replaced the battery and turned it on, it stopped at the same screen. After a few attempts, I tried to get into recovery mode and it only got to the download screen. After some research, it sounded like I could maybe flash the stock rom onto the phone and get back up and running. so I downloaded ODIN and found what I thought was the correct ROM and tried to flash it. ODIN gave an error about unable to find a PIT file, so more googleing later, I found a PIT file and tried again. ODIN tried for about 10 minutes and then failed. My phone was still on the download screen so I thought to just try the process completely from the start again. I unplugged my phone from the computer and tried to restart it, I think by holding the power button down but I may have just pulled the battery. once my phone turned off it hasn't turned back on again. It wont even attempt to charge when I plug it into the wall.

So I ask the people who are far more experienced with this kind of thing, did I unrecoverably mess up my phone, or is there something I can still do?

I can access the CM12 Recovery but thats it. I have tried with many nightlies sideloading through adb or just from the sd card but it still isnt working. I don't mind downgrading but I can't work out how to.

[Q] Nexus 5 wont turn on topic

Im sorry if someone has already posted this but I need help.

I rooted my N5 using a simple guide of drag and drop so i could use appradio.
I followed a video on youtube to remove the bar at the bottom of the screen which worked by adding something to the end of the build.prop.
After doing it- it worked but i thought i would be able to bring it back by deleting that line of information on the build.prop. Now the phone will not turn on at all.

I can load into the bootloader but will not start recovery- just an android sign with a red triangle. Turning it on normally will only load up a black screen so i think it must be something to do with the OS?

I tryed following a guide to fix it to do with the fastboot mode but found that it didnt work as it was not as up to date.
Heres the details if it makes sense to some of you:
bootloader version is HHZ12d
basebamd version M8974A-2.0.50.2.22
variant hammerhead D821 (E) 16GB
HW version- rev_11

I am not very technically minded but any help would be much appreciated.

[Q] Custom Recovery wont Load topic

I have an SCH-i545 and It was recently on NK1, I downgraded to NC5 and used towelroot. Did a factory wipe from the recovery, but now I cant get either TWRP or CWM to load? It only uses the stock samsung/verizon recovery, and this is not letting me flash any custom rom. Did I miss a step somewhere? I've got SuperSU installed aswell.

My HTC Droid DNA power button has stopped working. Tragically, I ran out of battery and now it won't turn on. I have ordered a replacement, but I need to get the pictures off of my phone and on to my computer. It has always connected to my computer in the past, but nothing that I am trying will get it to connect. Any chance there is anything that will help?

to my problem:

I have a Huawei MediaPad 10 Link+ and theres NOTHING out there for it. So i decided to make it on my own.
belive me theres no recovery or rom for this tablet.
i had a long journy so dont think this is my first problem ;)

i dumped my boot.img, recovery.img and system.img
i used this tool to unpack my recovery modified it, repacked it and flashed it. but the recovery wont boot up. just stuck at the first mediapad logo.

Even if i NOT touch it. ( just unpack / repack )

my problem is not to restore it. i want a modifyd recovery. maybe sobody here can help me.

PS: the best would be if somebody could port me CWM or TWRP :D

Here's the deal. I have recently been forced into getting this note 3 through insurance claim, have been nexus user forever and I must say I was peeved. Though I will admit that this phone does have its benefits as well. Anyways, when I first started using this phone I was pleased with the speeds in my new area (i have moved) on 4G. I have been more than dissatisfied with the internet here as it is appallingly slower than anything I can remember from the past of my life. Anywhoo, deal is that I have an unlimited plan and don't care if i run 4G all the time on my phone. For the first while I didn't get onto WiFi till one day at work, suddenly updates happened all over the place. I tested this a few times, and sure enough I am unable to update or even download certain apps from the play store without being on WIFI. I know this is hilarious, but my Clash of Clan mates sure were unimpressed when I couldn't join a war. So I have been researching all over and trying hard to figure out what I can do. Google Play is set up to download over both data and WiFi connections. My Samsung settings? Well I can't seem to find any settings that would make a difference on that. I have spent countless hours trying to figure this out without avail. I have been coming to this forum without posting forever it seems because you guys cover everything so well that usually I can search and find the answer without too many problems. Thank you in advance for your time and knowledge!

Possible hardware failure? Unable to boot - claims no OS and won't mount data etc topic

I think my phone may have had a catastrophic hardware failure but I am hoping not and maybe some of you clever people can help me resurrect it.

I have been running KK ParanoidAndroid without any problems for a few months. Yesterday I tried to boot it up and after showing the Google screen the screen went black then a single horizontal white line appeared 3/4 way down the screen. It stalled there forever so I pulled the battery and booted into TWRP recovery. It seemed to take a lot longer than normal but did boot into TWRP OK.

Once there however TWRP reported no backups, no OS and no storage space (0 MB). I couldn't mount any partitions,. I tried factory reset but it appeared to fail and just made the phone vibrate for a while. The log shows:

Unable to mount - /system, /cache, /data etc and something about no valid partition for MTP

Then the screen greyed out, faded to black and the phone powered off. Now it seems pretty much non responsive.

Any thoughts, other than bin it and get a new phone?

Whenever I dial calls out it, it says call failed :(

Any idea on how to fix this I found something in the CNET review that says the same thing so it is clearly an issue but is there any fix? Can I install a different dialer?

Won't go past loading screen topic

I was backing up pictures from the phone when it froze. Pulled battery and tried powering it back on and the phone doesn't get past the loading screen.

As of now, I don't really care about getting the phone back to an operational state. I just need my pictures off the phone. Is this possible?

System Update Downloaded notification won't go away. topic

Does anyone know how to remove the SYSTEM UPDATE DOWNLOADED notification? I got my LG G3 a week ago. As soon as it got activated it started downloading the OTA. The next day I disabled the OTA setting in the secret menu and deleted the downloaded file from /cache (I used solid explorer with root access and it is indeed gone after several reboots to verify). The SYSTEM UPDATED DOWNLOADED notification is still persistent. Even hitting LATER does nothing to get rid of it. Does anyone have any ideas? :(

I used purple drake to root in case it matters.

Ive installed twrp recovery from the app, its downloaded + installed everything was okay and after the instlaling finshed its asked me to reboot my phone, i rebooted my phone and not im getting into a screen thats says
"RECOVERY BOOTING...
RECOVERY IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING
Set Warranty Bit: recovery"

My phone wont boot and odin dont even notice the phone and my pc doesnt either WHAT IM GONNA DO?!?!?

[Q] Can't boot into recovery mode. Wifi won't turn on. topic

After updating from cm-10.1.3-find5 to cm-12-20150224-NIGHTLY-find5, I was stuck with the message Turing on Wi-Fi..., so I started playing around in TWRP recovery, wiping and reinstalling like a true noob. Eventually I was warned that "there is no system" and strode ahead where angels fear to tread...

Now I have CM12...NIGHTLY running, with no wi-fi, and cannot get to recovery. I've tried holding volume-down+power until my both thumbs and fingers are blue, but always return to the CM12 home screen.

Next, I used adb to install ROM Manager, but it can't update either Clockwork or TWRP since the wi-fi won't turn on.

However, I can use adb to fastboot and have tried flashing with recovery files of different types (Clockwork/TWRP).
But on reboot, the Find5 displays the logo waits and then displays the logo again and reboots to CM12.

I think something internal is broken:
adb logcat is reporting

VS985 Wont UPDATE after Flashing to 10b and rooting topic

I flashed my VS985 to from 12b to 10b using the KDZ method then i rooted with stump root.
after that I attempted to update to 12b but it says its up to date but it is still on 10b.
I then attempted to use the LG Upgrade Assistant Via USB but that doesn't even show my phone in menu it runs a detection then nothing it just highlights close.
Is there any reason why my phone wont upgrade?

[Q] [D2303/D2305] PC won't recognize my device after attempted root topic

Good day all I have a question regarding my new device which I attempted to root. I have searched these forums and can't find anyone with the same problem as mine. Running 4.4.4.

For reference, I was following this guide: http: //tinyurl.com/o6v3hqf

Everything was going swimmingly. I followed the steps in the guide exactly up to and including typing "fastboot reboot". Once I did this, my PC would no longer recognise the device that was plugged in. In addition, the Xperia M2 will not boot, the Sony logo will appear and then the screen will intermittently flash. I can boot it into recovery mode, just fine, but there is no file on my Xperia to boot from.

The next step in the guide says to install SuperSU from an SD card which I am confident I can achieve, but I am concerned that my PC won't be able to recognise my device if the root is successful (therefore I wouldn't be able to transfer over music etc).

Will my PC be able to recognise the device once the root is successful? Should there be additional steps I need to take?

Sorry if my questions seem Noob-ish this is my first smartphone.
