[Q] Micromax Canvas Knight A350 boot issue! Problem with device turning on. topic

Okay, Hi. I will try to give all the details as far as possible about the issue.
Canvas Knight A350 running on Kitkat 4.4.2. It was not rooted when the problem occured.
The problem is whenever I turn on the phone it shows the MIcromax logo later powered by android and canvas knight welcome screen for 5-7 secs but gets switched off automatically after that. The home screen does not appear. Sometimes for flash of a second it appears and I could see the wallpaper, app shortcuts in the background out and the "power off shutting down" screen

Things I've already tried :
1. Charging the phone : Whenever the charger is connected it shows the charging symbol with the lowest battery and after 5-6 seconds it says "Error, Please remove the charger."
2. Wipe Cache Partition : Installed recovery with SP Tools and wiped cache. No update.
3. Wipe Battery Stats and Dalvik Cache : Phone started with the screen "Android is upgrading. Optimising apps ... out of 163..." It finished optimizing all apps then shows homescreen for a second again wit the "Power off... shutting down." So issue not solved.
4. Mounting all possible disks etc. : No update still the same problem.

A. The phone has an internal sd card so using the recovery mode I took backup also. But I don't know what all that items the backup option takes? Will it take contacts, sms, whatsapp msgs, application apks? I havent taken any backup using Titanium or anything for the phone / apps / or their data otherwise.

B. I am able to browse the internal sd card folders in recovery mode but how do I copy them to the PC?

C. If I use the Wipe data / factory reset feature of the recovery what data will I lose? Will the internal sd card also get wiped??

D. I'm currently downloading the Kitkat official rom to update it manually using recovery. Will that also make me lose all my data on phone storage - contacts, settings etc.? and internal sd card?

E. Is there any better way to solve my problem without the whole factory reset or flashing ROM? Because appears to me that its some software glitch and the phone is not actually bricked!! (the appearing of home screen and wallpapers even if just for a second) Maybe something is sending a power off command to the phone as soon as it gets turned on?

F. Could it be a hardware or battery voltage issue? Should I post the battery test readings from the factory mode? How to conduct the test properly?

Lg G3 Wifi constantly at 'turning on', need help please! topic

Hi guys,

My f400l has been experiencing issues for a while now. One morning, I woke up to find an unresponsive device. Took out battery and turned it on again to find that the device had partially reset itself (ie. going back to stock launcher and layout, missing apps). Device was still rooted so I tried to restore apps and settings via titanium backup. However, phone kept freezing throughout restore process.

Next, I decided to flash back to stock. This is when i noticed that wifi would remain at 'wifi turning on' but never actually turn on. Additionally, bluetooth could not be turned on. I then upgraded to lollipop via normal firmware update from lg software on my pc. Phone then would freeze after every 2 mins.

After trialing many rooms, I am now on cloudyg3 2.1 but wifi/bluetooth are still not working and phone still freezes occasionally (usually at the beginning of the day).

Really at a loss here, can anyone suggest what seems to be happening and what I can do about it?

bluetooth its not working anymore after reflash the same stock 4.3 via odin , I was using custom rom s kitkat and lollipop for testing but when I reflash the stock 4.3 bluetooth stopped working I did factory reset -wipe cach - pull out battery but non of that helped so could you help

[Q] wifi not turning on topic

hi, i have a little problem and let me explain it.

i have a mexican moto maxx and i decide to update to lollipop and i followed the instruction, downloaded the br firmware and then flash the files that are listed, then i update to lollipop, but i didnt like very much lollipop, i think it need a little more tweaks for work better and i decide to downgrade to kit kat again, and i follow some instruction like for example flash all files from br and then i thought i could just flash the mx files and leave it like factory.

but it didnt work like i thought, i was not able to flash system and other img like this, i just flashed radio and now my wifi is not working, i tried to reflash the radio from the mx file but im still not making it work, the wifi just dont turn on.

my phone still have the bootloader locked, any ideas?:(

[Q] WiFi turning off when device is sleeping topic

My WiFi is intermittently disconnecting when my device is asleep. I wake it up and the WiFi is often 'disconnected', but connects automatically once it's awake.

When I wake my phone, there's no WiFi connection and there's a little '?' next to the mobile signal icon - but when I wake it up, the WiFi connects and the '?' on the mobile signal disappeared.

'Keep WiFi on during the sleep' is toggled to 'always', so I really can't understand why it's doing this.

I've had Lollipop for about a month now, but it's only started happening today. I've 'forgot' the network, restarted the device and reconnected, but it's still dropping out when my phone's asleep.

S4 not charging/ turning on topic

hi there just had my screen replaced and now i cant seem to turn my phone on
if i unscrew the casing the motherboard moves slightly and the phone turns on, trying to put the casing back on is impossible without the phone turning off again?
any ideas of what i can do? all the plugs seem pretty tight and connected?

[Q] [Urgent Cry To Help] Phone Modem turning on and off in intervals topic

Hello everyone! So, recently I flashed my Galaxy S3 with an unofficial CM12 ROM. I DID do a system wipe first. It was working fine (Apart from the obvious camera issues), but I noticed that the phone kept dropping the signal. So I went into my recovery, and flashed the nandroid backup I had (Without doing a system wipe). Now, even though I'm on my nandroid backup, it's still doing the signal dropping thing.

If it helps, when I started up the CM12 ROM, it did say something about "Detecting mobile networks".

I've attached an image with my Mobile Network Signal readings that I got from settings. As you can see in the image, I also don't have a signal (I happened to catch it when it dropped). Can anyone please help me? I'm desperate, and use my phone quite often for calling and texting.

Anyone having this issue after updating to lollipop? I am stock, unrooted. I have searched a lot on this issue and can't seem to find my exact problem. I have checked settings and everything looks correct. Basically at random times throughout the day, my sound mode turns itself to "Priority Interruptions Only". Anyone?

I was trying to install a custom rom as instructed in http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2735975
I used Philz recovery. Unfortunately i wiped the whole system and my rom installation failed :(
Now my phone is not turning on (it only shows Sony screen) :(

I've been pressing all the button combinations (power + volume up; power + volume down; power + vol up + vol down), and nothing happens, no vibration, only Red LED blinking when pressing power button whatsoever.
The only "vital" sign it gives is the Red LED when you plug it on the charger or on the USB on the PC.

Is my phone dead permanently ? Is there any way to recover my phone?

Any help, suggestion, thought from personal experience is appreciated!

Stuck on "Turning Wi-Fi on..." topic

I've been having this issue for a week now. At first, it got disconnected from my wifi router. Then I tried to go to the wi-fi settings only to find that the turn off/on has been greyed out. Thinking it is a software bug and that the issue can be solved by a mere factory reset, I did a factory reset only to find that I would be stuck on this " Turning Wi-Fi on..". With that I cannot continue the setup. After which I downloaded the Nexus 7 2013 jellybean factory image (the original stock rom) then flashed it, but still the issue was not solved. By the way I purchased this tabled way back December of 2013 and I have not rooted this device. Hope someone can help me or can give me an advise on how to fix this tablet. Honestly, this is a very good tablet.
