Possible way to revemoe Fire TV banner ad and pre-roll video ads topic

Hi All,

I didn't see solution as far as how to remove the ad banner that shows above the Home screen on AFTV. I have not see this ad on my AFTV as of this morning, here is what i know.

Few days i got new box it was running the latest stock firmware and i saw the banner ad so annoying. I also read on AFTVNEWS site and on this form that folks running pre rooted firmware and ad still shows up.

if you are running pre-rooted firmware 51.1.4.1_514013920 try downgrading to 51.1.4.0_514006420 updated, i am running this i have no ads on the banner.

Android Video App to add company logo? topic

Hi experts!

I want to add my company logo to video using android. Is there any app that will allow me to add my company logo?

Note: I know there are some apps that allows to add watermark. But I want to add logo (External PNG) to the video not watermark.

We have a front sensor that shuts off the screen when you bring phone up to the ear during a call, so there should be a way to make that sensor do other things like pause a video. Right? :confused:

[Q] Sudden deterioration of video quality in NFL GamePass after flashing new Rom topic

I just flashed my Minix Neo X7 with the "X7 Kitkat v2.2.0 Community Edition" Rom taken from the Minix community forums. Basically everything works fine. Video playback, streaming, light gaming, with one glaring exception.
I am a subscriber to the NFL GamePass and installed on the new box. I have attached a zip the screenshots of the video quality I am getting on the app.

I am running the box in 1080i at 60 fps through to my TV. Changing the video output settings, restarting the device and re-installing the App did not change matter at all. This problem also does not occur on any of my other android devices.

I am waiting for a response from their customer support, however, I think I can find more competent technical help among the xda community.

Does anybody have any idea what causes this problem / how to fix it?

Edit: there was a setting in MX player that muted the music.

Camera video focus lock topic

Hello,

is there any way to lock the focus when recording a video with the stock camera app?
In my experience I get a lot of focus hunting while recording video and just makes it not usable, otherwise the quality and image stabilization is superb.
Any third party app that would use the same image stabilization and lock focus would also be ok, but I dont think there is such a thing...

Tab S 10.5 YouTube Video Stuttering topic

Hi guys, I recently bought a galaxy tab s 10.5 and I'm having issues with video playback in the native YouTube app. Basically every 5-10 seconds, I would get a micro stutter, as if the video is slightly jittery. It's definetely not buffering as the video has loaded well ahead already too.

I am using the samsung stock OS so 4.4.2 and I have installed all the latest official updates for both the OS and the Youtube app.

I have also tried a factory reset of the machine, clearing the cache and updates for the Youtube app and reinstalling.

Does this indicate there's an issue with my hardware ? It does not happen when i stream videos from my PC over wifi or any locally downloaded videos. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hey, i was wandering if there is any cm12 rom that the online video streaming worked without any problems. I read that this is a known issue with the cm12.
It's very annoying and I don't want to go back to cm11.

[Q] Is MX Player a good choice for live video? topic

Hi,

I have already had a look at the forum but couldn't find a similar question.
I'm using an evaluation kit with a wifi module and a camera that sends out video from the camera over wifi.
For Android there is a wrapper for the MX Player app that connects to the evaluation board and displays the video from the camera on the android device.
So far there is no problem except that the video has a delay of a few seconds.
Is it possible that the MX Player produces such a delay because of its buffers?

Video recording gets dark? topic

I've been noticing something very annoying with my rooted LG G3 (VS98510B). Whenever I record something, the camera goes dark as if I lost light. This happens with my girlfriend's G3 (t mobile) as well. This is especially noticeable in in-door areas, and it's even worse when I record something through Snapchat. I have the stock camera app, stock firmware (kit Kat 4.4.2) and no custom Rom or kernel. I've tried installing the modded camera app a few months ago but it made my camera app force close when I tried opening it. I might try installing that mod to see if it helps. What do you guys recommend? Are any of you experiencing this?

I´ve read that moto G will have a video-camera option to record at 720p@120fps. Will our g2 mini be able to do this? :confused: Has the same processor and better camera sensor. Does anyone know if this is available in a custom rom or in an aplication?

Whenever I reboot the phone either leave it at the lockscreen or swipe to the homescreen i get a red flash on the screen for a second literally as the phone vibrates for the startup

Im using the official poland lollipop update (PDA: N9005XXUGBOA5 CSC: N9005XEOGBOA4 MODEM: N9005XXUGBOA1 CHANGELIST: 3643614 BUILD DATE: 20.01.2015)

Only seems to happen to me on lollipop firmware, tried custom rom and official rom and it happens at the same time every time. I have been using temasek's cm12 rom and have had no problems at-all with screen flicker.

Any thoughts? Have tried reset and flash firmware again, same issue. Just tried it on my bro's note 3 and he has the same issue...

Is there any one who know how to make video call from xperia phone., directly like low budget Spice and Micromax android phones. I know its possible through Skype & We chat, Viber and other Social Apps. But I need to call direct from moble. like above mentioned phone does, and video calls Charges should be deducted from main balance not from data balance.....

I just noticed this this morning. When I end a call there's an option to make a video call? I've never seen that before although I know it would show up on international based roms when I had my Note 3.

Video Audio Concerts Distorted topic

When recording in loud situations for example me and my friend we got the very same phone S Galaxy Note 3, went to this EDM concert and we both took a couple of videos, hes got original stock rom and i have rooted custom rom, his recording was really good on the bass audio but mine was unbearable on the sound it was really distorted all the way through when the bass comes, and i have tried a couple of roms now but with the same outcome, so i was just wondering what could be causing this, and how to fix this...? Thanks in advance..!
