Video recording gets dark? topic

I've been noticing something very annoying with my rooted LG G3 (VS98510B). Whenever I record something, the camera goes dark as if I lost light. This happens with my girlfriend's G3 (t mobile) as well. This is especially noticeable in in-door areas, and it's even worse when I record something through Snapchat. I have the stock camera app, stock firmware (kit Kat 4.4.2) and no custom Rom or kernel. I've tried installing the modded camera app a few months ago but it made my camera app force close when I tried opening it. I might try installing that mod to see if it helps. What do you guys recommend? Are any of you experiencing this?

my media files gets erased? topic

I have an international s3.
suddenly my phone deleted by itself everything on my internal storage ONLY, such as my entire photos, sounds recordings, nandroid backups. etc. basically media files of any type. my apps, call log and sms records still fine.
i use imperium rom v 13.6 for a long time, and never had problems. so it's not the rom.
i completely formatted my internal storage. and installed the rom. but the problem still exists. does anyone know what could be the problem? :confused: im afraid it's an hardware problem.... how can i make sure . thanks in advance.
