Lollipop Update neither available through OTA nor KIES topic

Hi all,

maybe that is expected but I thought my Note 4 should be subject of Lollipop Update. Device information says "SM-N910F".

I am on Stock firmware, no root or so.

Is Lollipop not available for my device yet or am I doing something wrong.

Download the newest .img file here


1. Download the above file. Go into settings and enable USB debugging. On your computer type:
adb reboot bootloader
2. Your device should now be in fastboot mode. Type the following command, changing the recoveryfilename to the correct path and name of the image you want to flash:


fastboot flash recovery recoveryfilename.img


Note that you will need to change the last part to match the name of the file that you just downloaded. You will also need adb and fastboot for your computer.

[Q] Recover Phone Only Sideload Available topic

I have brought this up in a couple other threads but it was suggested I start a separate question. It's a good suggestion especially because doing so may help others in the future. Here's the situation. I have a VS980 that HAD TWRP and CrDroid. In the process of trying to flash another ROM, something went haywire. When I use Vol Down/Power to get to Recovery I get the Factory Data Reset screen which unfortunately says "ROOTED" at the top. Pushing power twice which would ordinarily get me to TWRP instead gets me to a LG Logo/Reset endless loop. The button combination which would usually get me to download mode gets me the same loop. However, if I continue to hold down Vol Up, I get Android System Recovery <3e> from which I CAN get the phone into sideload mode. Sideload is thus the only connectivity I have to the phone. Ordinarily I would think I could just sideload a ROM but when I try this, I get:

assert failed: run_program("/system/bin/loki.sh") == 0
E: Error in /tmp/update.zip
(Status 7)
Installation aborted.

Likewise I tried a bumped recovery, but this time it errored with /tmp/panelfix.sh.

Yes, sideload appears to be the only choice I have but I also confess I am not entirely clear on what bumping is exactly and how to do it.

Absent reviving this phone, I am stuck returning it to Verizon for a warranty replacement but this presents a problem since the factory data reset screen clearly says rooted. One thought that came to mind is if I got the official OTA zip that gets downloaded during OTA updates, I might not be able to sideload that and whether or not doing so is advisable. Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated. Although I prefer being able to use Windows on my PC, I do have access to an Ubuntu VM I can run if that factors in at all.

hi im looking at maybe buying a ubuntu phone on the next flash sale or intsalling it on my nexus 5 and 7
but not sure if its good enough on the nexus 5 and just worth trying to buy one

two questions how does it run now on nexus 5 is it ready for day to day use and will the operating system be current like the one on the ubuntu phone
and were do i find a list of scopes and apps available

like i want to run nvpy can i just install as i do native like on a ubuntu

i have GT- S7262 in official i have face a problem that "Mobile Network Not Available" it suddenly happen on my phone

i have rooted my phone with this file "S7262_KSA_S7262S7662XXNA2_S7262S7262M_S7262KSA.ta r.md5" find youtube

its rooted but still same problem can not get CWM

then i have gain CWM v6.0.1.1(many tries ) face white screeen problem solve by XDA

then i have restored that
now still the same problem "Mobile Network Not Available" i have found that i have EFS problem thanks to Vipul Jurel on facebook give solution but no use
i have search on kies that i have TML but i have other on my phone

i have found solution on gsmhosting (can not post link ) i am newbie


but that need a box but i do not have any

Z2 Network manager option not available topic

Hi guys, I bought z2 from dubai, when i came for vacation in india, it is not working as it is not taking any sim cards in india, i flashed it with al most all versions ftf but still it is not taking any sim cards. There is no (X) in sim lock but all figures are 0. When i tried to search the network mannualy, i found that there is no option for selecting network mannually. so guys please help to find a solution.

Finally, Xposed for Lollipop is now available, Rovo89 finally solved the challenge. Here is the link to main thread.
This is what I have been waiting for, now I will seriously make the move. CM12, here I come. It is still an alpha build, so expect some issues.
