Galaxy Gear Circle topic

Just got my new Galaxy Gear Circle Bluetooth earbuds in the mail today. I am running the Dynamic Kat rom and dont have the option to download the proper Samsung Galaxy Gear app to Sync them to my S5. Does anyone else have these? Are they even worth keeping?

Gear manager + S Issues topic

After updating the watch to the latest ROM, i did a factory reset.
now, in Gear manager i cannot see the apps installed on Gear S (there were installed through automatically backup). In Seeting at MANAGE APPS and UNINSTALL APPS it says there are no apps installed. i want to delete an app from gear S...
and the double press option in gear Manager shows only 2 options. NONE and LATEST APPLICATIONS. no S voice..no nothing.
if i chose from gear S the S voice when i double press, it works only once..then it returns to the option NONE...

any help?

My wife bought me the international version of the Samsung Gear S (SM-R750W). She said that she researched and from her understanding it should work on the T mobile network. From what I've found though the consensus seemed to be it would not work, or if it did it would be spotty at best depending on the specific towers/area you were in because Tmobile utilizes different network types in different areas.

I decide to give it a shot anyway and went to the T-Mobile store where I signed up for the wearable plan and got a new nano sim card. I was crossing my fingers but as soon as they put the sim card in the watch it came to life. It looked to be working fine but as I left the store I received a text from T-Mobile stating " the SIM for your wearable devices is in an ineligible device. Services to the SIM are locked until it returned to your eligible wearable device".

I pessimistically started thinking well great, there goes that idea. But as I got into my vehicle I shut my phone down and tried to see if the watch can work on its own as a phone when unencumbered from my Note 4 bluetooth/WiFi data connections. It worked perfectly-I started calling my friends and they couldn't believe I was talking on a watch phone. Several I actually felt the call sound quality was better on the watch speaker phone compared to normally speaking on the Note 4. I called customer service but they told me they couldn't see anything and if it was working fine not to worry about it.

For the next eight or 9 hours it worked perfectly and I was using it a lot. I drove around large swaths of town and neither data nor call experienced even the slightest issue - for once I was happy to be wrong.
Eventually, as I am oft to do, I fell asleep. When I awoke this morning the watch was no longer connected to the network. It gave me a message saying it was unable to connect and did I want to scan for additional networks. I selected yes and it was able to find the T-Mobile and ATT networks. T-Mobile was selected and a "registering" notification was displayed. It took awhile but eventually said it was unable to register with the network.

I call T-Mobile and they said pretty much exactly what I expected them to say -that because it was not a T mobile device they could not ensure proper operation. But he said (and he characterized this as "good news", "light at the end of a tunnel" and "viable solution” Seriously said all 3 things.) I could either forget all about the cellular connection and just use this as a companion device OR go and buy a new Gear S from T Mobile if I really wanted that feature.
I’m truly and utterly baffled that he believed his suggestions merited the positive sayings from above. Never in my lifetime has my head been closer to exploding.

After I was finally able to speak again, I explained that it seemed unlikely to be an issue with the watch. If my Gear S was working perfectly yesterday and can still detect Tmobile & ATT networks, then something on your end seems to be preventing registration. He agree to file a ticket with the engineering team and tomorrow I should hear from them hopefully. He also told me to go and try another nano-SIM, gratis, at the Tmobile store. So today I went and as soon as I put the new card in all systems were go. I assumed that I somehow had received a bad card because here again now, data and voice are connected.

This time I didn’t even make it out of the parking lot before it notified me that that it was again unable to register with the network. There is conflicting information regarding the radio frequencies and bands that the different Gear S models have and I didn’t have high hopes. But then it actually did work, WELL, so any ideas as to what is going wrong?

The reason NOT to buy Gear 2 neo! topic

Hello there im gonna describe you why NOT to buy the gear 2 neo or any plastic smartwatch made by any inexperienced (with watches) company.

Yesterday night I went to bed wearing my gear 2 neo, my left arm was touching both the bed’s mattress and my body when I tried to move the arm.
(big mistake. Never move your arm that wears the gear 2 neo when you sleep! Seriously…)

I felt just I tiny amount of resistance when I moved my arm and I mean really really tiny, like you cant imagine how tiny this resistance I felt was, and the watch fell of my arm.

I thought the armband unclipped but actually the watch’s plastic armband holder broke off completely!!!

As you can see right now I am unable to wear my watch as the armband cannot clip on place
So I went to an official Samsung repair center to repair it.

They told me that it is not covered by warranty as the piece is broken and it didn’t broke by itself. So I have to pay for it, and the price for repairing the armband holder is…
(take a sit and hold your breath!)
280euro!!!!!

I mean come on the whole watch costs 200 euro maybe 180 now, but no they want 280euro to change the hole front cover with the lcd screen just because at Samsung they are stupid enough to decide making their watch armband holders made of 2mm thick cheap plastic and after that they wont cover it under warranty because I was stupid enough to trust my money at Samsung thinking that they can really make a good watch….

how can they not see that these tiny cheap made armband holders was just wrong choice and they are gonna fail hard very easily? How can they not cover this under warranty? Its not that I dropped my watch and crack it? What could I possibly do to break it that should be my fault for the damage and they do not cover it?

and further more why don’t they offer a cheap repair for this epic fail of their watch?

Now I got started take a look of another reason for why you should not by plastic watches from Samsung…
after about 7months of use take a look at the wear of its top plastic housing, all 4 corners have this kind of wear and it happened by the clothes I was wearing.



Does really Samsung thinks that by selling that kind of crap quality watches the consumers will continue supporting the company???
From the wear on the plastic body you can easily understand how cheap plastic the watch uses and why it did failed.
Its not the first quality fail of Samsungdevices , remember the galaxy s4 and galaxy s1 bezel fail?

[Q] Unable to pair Gear S with S3 neo topic

On November 2014 I bought Gear S which i paired with my samsung galaxy s3 neo. Sometimes the smart watch stopped to work and I was able to reactivate the Gear S only after resetting it.
On 23 February after experiencing another arrest of the Gear s I downloaded from Galaxy apps the latest version of gear manager (2.2.14110499). After I have installed the gear manager I wasn’t able to reactivate my gear s although it paired with my galaxy S3 neo. In particular the gear manager is not able to download the additional software and I receive the following message: “Unable to connect to the gear. Connection to the gear is not supported by your mobile device…” Moreover just beneath the above message appear a writing during just some seconds stating: “Download url not available, can’t launchPlugin!”
What is not working? My gear s or the new gear manager?

Hello guys.... i just got my amazing gear 2 gold/brown and i am loving it....i am not going to lie guys i enjoy the camera and recording feature and i would like to install this app : i cant post the link but its called secret video recorder pro.

how do i install this into my gear 2.....i dont care what are the steps i just want it to record as long as it can, and as much as it can record with the screen off. James bond undercover recording type of thing....or are there any apps that they have for gear 2 to record while the screen is off???

i heard gear 2 has tizen and what not....and i have to either null_rom or w.e that is or root or w.e it is..

if there is one here who can enlightenment me step by step as if they just got a gear 2 from the store as is and their mission is to make that app work on the gear 2..

gear 2 battery life of 4.5- to 5 days. topic

Is is just me or the battery of gear 2 have been massively undersold?

I easily get 4.5-5 days of battery life, I charge 100% on Monday morning, and then it will last me until Friday night or Saturday morning.

I use my watch to track my daily cycling commute, and track my sleep every night. I get several notifications, and my the notification that I like is the best is google now weather notification that updates is several times a hour.

I have motion screen activation, which says that it might reduce the battery life but haven't noticed any difference, I have vibration on as well, the only thing I don't have as default is the setting for screen turning on when you receive a notification. ( i am using the default watch face that have shortcuts on it).

Share your experience, what are you doing with your gear 2 and how long does it last.

I erased the NFC tag inside my Galaxy Gear Charging Cradle !!!!!
Does anyone have the actual text that was written into the Tag? If I know the sentence that was stored, i can retype this and Write it back onto the tag on the Cradle!

[Q] Gear S =Phone Not Allowed MM#6 topic

Hello Everyone.
I am stumped on this issue. There doesn't seem to be any solutions for me. Here is What's happening, then I will tell you what I know..

Originally an ATT watch. SM-R750A
The IMEI is perfect. Not black listed at all. (Verified with ATT,SAMSUNG, and TMOBILE)
It is unlocked by ATT - I received the code and used it with the Tmobile Sim card inside when prompted. Success.
ATT Sim cards work perfectly,and with 4G!! When my Tmobile Sim goes in there, it only allows Emergency calls.
The APN settings are automatically populated. Verified to be correct with Tmobile. Basically, everything is fine on their end..

I am getting the run around from all 3 sources. They point the finger at each other.
Example:
Tmobile :"ATT did not unlock it completely, call them and ask for it to be fully unlocked."
ATT: "Once we gave you the code, our hands are tied. Call samsung, they may be able to complete your request.."
Samsung: "This is a service/network issue. Contact who ever your sim card has service with.."

Please help me, I have tried everything I can think of.
I researched all over the internet.. There are no working solutions anywhere!!!
I even Oden flashed the Official Firmware from ATT to Tmobile, so now my Model # is SM-R750T. I get the same errors. Att sim cards still work perfectly.

I added photos of a menu I found on the device.. I dont know what this means..
I can draw conclusions, but I still need help..

Also, I have had the Tmobile Sim card replaced twice..
If someone could help find a solution, this will help a LOT people!
