[Q] Touchscreen drivers topic

Hello everyone!

I have a tablet which I use as media center, since my smartTV (Sony) "smart" funcionality sucks. It's a Energy System tablet with a dual core RK3066 CPU at 1.6 GHz, 1 GB ram and Mali-400 gpu.

The problem is...I have android 4.2 installed and I would like to install Cyanogen mode since the official rom sucks. I found a 4.2.2 and a 4.4 roms which works great with my tablet BUT...I have no touchscreen.

Since I have the official rom (as update.img, which I've extracted), is there any way I can add the touchscreen drivers to the new rom ?
I can access the new rom with a mouse, so the touchscreen wouldn't be a big issue to get USB debugging or even root the tablet.

Lg g3 camera drivers request topic

As we all know, some of us are delighted with the performance that CyanogenMOD ROMs (and CM based) have. But most of us, we don't use them in a daily basis due to this issue.

THE OVERALL PERFORMANCE OF THE CAMERA AND SOUND IN OUR LG G3.

It's a shame, because lots of us love the AOSP ROMs experience. Since a long time, I've wanted to get in touch with LG so they can bring us a solution to our problem.

After talking with an LG agent, he told me they aren't planning to release the LG G3 drivers soon. But he also told me we can write them a petition so they can think about it and maybe, change their mind about this issue. The number of petitions they'll recieve is very important in order to succeed.

"Hi, as you dont give the LG G3 users the option of having an official version of an AOSP ROM and we have to appeal to non official ROMs like CyanogenMOD, I demand you to release the camera drivers so the developers can offer us a nice camera experience with their roms added to the performance they have already achieved.

LG should give their customers the possibility to decide if they want an AOSP rom, like Google demand or if they want the LG modified android with the lose of performance it carries.

[Q] Touchscreen drivers location? topic

Hey guys,

Im trying to port a I9505 rom to my I9515 but one of the main problems is that the touchscreen doesn't work when you flash I9505 roms on the I9515. So I went looking for the touchscreen drivers in a stock rom but I just can't find them. So do you guys have any idea where the touchscreen drivers are located?

Stable daily drivers topic

Hi guyz,

I am on this forums from a very long time. But now its becoming quite irritating that the ops dont have proper "current issues" maintained with them.
I tried using different lollipop versions but then I was facing random reboots,fcs, etc and they were not mentioned in op.
I would like everyone to put only the best stable versions they are using as a daily driver on this thread as a comment with their thread link, download link and known issues.

For now as far as I am concerned the following are best:
1. Mexico Retail
2. Holoblur

Doubt about drivers and custon Roms topic

I am a galaxy S3 user and change my rom very often.
Since KitKat the custom roms for S3 are very unstable.

Read about S3, I discovery the cause of instability are made by the "unsupported driver" by the processor manufacturer.

So, if LG G2 are made by Snapdragon 800, just like the nexus 5.
I can conclude if nexus 5 received an oficial android update it is possible the custom roms will use the oficial drivers made by Snapdragon, and the custom Roms will be more stable.

Android Bootloader Interface drivers (Code 10) topic

Hello everyone,

ROM - FML 5.0.2 Lollipop
Recovery - CWM latest version

Android Bootloader Interface - Can't install drivers
All drivers are working for my GNexus except Bootloader driver.
This is what I have done so far :
Uninstalled and then installed all drivers, but Bootloader driver still has that yellow triangle with exclamation mark in Device Manager.
Tried Google and Universal drivers, none of these two driver solutions are not working - because when I try to install one of these I get this
"This device cannot start. (Code 10)"

Without proper Bootloader drivers I am not in a position to do anything with my phone.
CWM Recovery won't let me to install FML or PA gapps because it rewrites script in gapps package, so error appears (Status 6).

Any suggestions...?

Can someone post the USB drivers for for the SWR50? I can't install them via PC Companion because I receive the error:

"Sony Update Engine failure (error 1200)."

[Q] 4.4.4 baseband drivers? topic

Anyone have these or know where to get them? I've looked around to no avail. Since CM didn't upgrade them we all have to do it ourselves... I'd rather not have to go through the agony of going back to stock and probably not doing it right, so figured I'd try flashing the drivers. Real tired of my GPS not working at all, and all the other radios just barely hanging on.

[Q] Can't find working EVO 3d Drivers for Win 7 64 bit topic

I recently got a new computer with windows 7 64 bit on it and for the life of me I cannot get a good working driver for my Evo 3d. I've tried HTC_drivers_Win7_x64.zip , unzipped it and chose the location I unzipped it to when updating the driver but it does not find a compatible driver in it. I'm pretty much at my wits end with this and am wondering if anyone can help in my quest to get this thing recognized so I can use ADB. I can see the device via USB as a media device and I can browse the SD card without issue.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

[Q] OpenCL drivers? topic

I wonder, if there is any possible way to get working OpenCL on this device? The gpu support opencl acceleration, moreover some guys from Imagination demonstrated it just on this device. But, as I suppose amazon does not provide working drivers for it (like libPVROpenCL.so or somethink like this).
So, is it possible to pull out working drivers from some other device with similiar gpu (like exynos4 based), and get it work?

[Q] Is it possible to make phone act as USB flashdrive, no drivers topic

Am trying to get my printer to recognise my phone as a usb flash drive. The printer recognises a usb device is connected but doesn't recognise the phone, as Samsung phones seem to need dedicated drivers.
Is there anyway to add files to root of phone so a section of its memory could be used as plug and play flash drive.

[Q] BSOD installing drivers for Samsung Galaxy S III Neo (GT-I9301I) topic

I am new on XDA, and I am not sure what is the most appropriate place for my question, so I am asking it here.

I tried to install Samsung drivers on a 64 bit Windows 7 SP1 box, but it always BSODs at the end of the procedure. After this happens, Windows 7 starts to fail, and I have to go back to a restore point, so I don't even know if something got installed. I tried a few different versions of the drivers, but always got the same problem. I tried with a couple of different downloads, one is a file named Samsung-Usb-Driver-v1.5.49.0.exe, and another is a zip archive called usb_drivers_GalaxyS_x64.zip, which I think had been extracted from Samsung Kies installation.

From Windows Properties, I can see an entry SAMSUNG_Android marked with an error, saying that the device drivers were not installed (code 28). There are similar entries for "CDC serial" and "Video controller".

I did a lot of googling, but didn't find anybody who had exactly the same problem.

I am not sure whether this is related to the 64 bit OS, or if there is a more specific version of the drivers I should use, and the Samsung site is not of much help. Any idea will be appreciated.

[Q] Unable to install APX drivers topic

Dear XDA,

I'm trying to root my phone via AIO-toolkit. To root I need the APX drivers, but for some reason i cannot install them. The installer gives the following error:
"Intall Failed". I've tried running AOI-toolkit in adminstrator mode.

So I thought, hmmm maybe I already have the drivers! Let's try to root it... but when selecting option 3 in the AOI-toolkit it gives the error "USB device not found".

When I remove the battery and plug the phone to the computer you can hear the blieb sound. So that means it get's recognized?

Anyone knows anything to help me? I'm using window 8.1.
