[Q] Touchscreen drivers location? topic

Hey guys,

Im trying to port a I9505 rom to my I9515 but one of the main problems is that the touchscreen doesn't work when you flash I9505 roms on the I9515. So I went looking for the touchscreen drivers in a stock rom but I just can't find them. So do you guys have any idea where the touchscreen drivers are located?

location defaults to battery saving topic

Every time I set the location to high accuracy and use maps, then shutdown maps, after a few minutes the location settings default to battery saver. No matter what I do it won't stay on high accuracy. I installed tasker and secure settings to toggle high accuracy on and off but I have removed both apps. Any ideas?

i wrongly ticked the box
but i do not want high accuracy,
it is enough "gps only"

I want that message to be shown back again to me while switching it on.

GPS Won't Fix Location topic

Hi good people of xda.

I'm hoping someone out there can help me as I'm at the end of my tether.

I recently noticed that my GPS wasn't working whilst running Goldfinger v8.

So I tried all the usual fixes (tightening screws, faster fix, topNTP, changing csc) and nothing works. I flashed back to a stock unrooted 4.4.2 firmware for my location UK (BTU) via odin and that didn't work. I am currently running Goldeneye v49.2 after pretty much giving up trying to sort it.

Unlike others that seemed to report no satellites in view, my phone sees them but will not get a fix :mad:.

[q] Google requesting location for apps topic

Every couple of hours, I get a notification on my screen: in the previous version of android, you allowed locations for apps, would you like to turn it on? Or something like that. I don't want to because it drains the battery too much. Is there a way to turn off those notifications so they don't appear? Its really annoying.

[Q] Location turns on at Low Battery Notices - Galaxy Note 3 topic

My Galaxy Note 3 keeps turning on its Location by itself at every Low Battery notice (15%, 10%, 5%). I have ALL location options in the OFF setting. I have no idea what else I can do... This is driving me crazy.

I don't know if this will help, but I have the following downloaded apps:
Hay Day, Rise of Berk, Plants vs Zombies 2, Dr. Who Ringtones, Google Maps, MFCU Mobile, Pandora, Skype, Youtube....plus everything installed with original factory settings. I have tried to force stop and uninstall every factory installed app that I do not use, although there are many that cannot be deleted. *eyeroll* Please help me figure out how to stop the Location from turning itself on when I receive Low Battery notifications.

Camera launching sound 'location'. topic

Hey guys. Please help me out (if you can/will :)).
Does anyone know where the camera launch sound is located. I mean the sound you hear when opening/launching the camera with the hardware button.
All the other camera sounds i can find in the system/media/sounds folder, but for the life of me i can't find that annoying launching-sound-file.
I have found a xposed module that shuts it up, but i still would like to know :)
