Where did the fastboot gone ? topic

Soo.... I have a WT19i, and installed the 4.0.4 after i got sick of the 2.3 but the battery always stuck at 100% and then randomly drops to 0...
So i try to install Cyanogenmod, but i can't because i can't get into fastboot...
At least i can, but my PC detect it as flash mode...
I press the Vol Up and connect the USB, the blue LED goes on, but the flashtool says: Device connected in flash mode...
I tried Vol Down also, then the Green LED goes on, and yeah "Device connected in Flash mode"

I reinstalled the Fastboot drivers but didnt helped...
Any suggestion ?

Hello, I'm using the phone for a long time rootl . I dont know what happened but lately come to constantly fastboot screen on first boot . I keep myself etiriy the volume up key . I throw a reset if I turn off all the same problems again. Can you help in this regard. thanks

I had my nexus 5 using multirom manager i had liquid smooth and paranoid android roms on it and i flashed ubuntu too the phone was working fine on all of the three roms.. the only issue i had was the microphone that wasn't working on phone calls but it worked only on speakers so i tried to change the mic piece and same the mic wasn't working. So i thought that it was something wrong with the software and i tried to flash a different kernel (Franko Kernel ) and i tried to flash couple GAPPS and nothing still with the mic problem and in the ROM i had a message that says com.play.services not responding so i tried to go on play store and upgrade the services and the play store wasn't working so i dowloaded some play services from chrome, after i installed the apt file i tried to reboot the phone and as soon as i did the reboot the screen had some rainbow an gray colored lines all over the screen horizontal and vertical lines, after that the screen was only black but i could see the backlight on it. I tried to restore stock with fast boot and still nothing i restored android 4.4.4,5.0,5.0.1 and nothing happen the screen was still black, the only thing was that the phone was able to be seen on fast boot and so i thought that the problem was the screen or the flex cable so i tried to buy a new screen i did ordered it from eBay and last night i changed the screen, but nothing worked I'm still having the black screen and the phone is still going on fast boot mode but I'm not able to use my phone... PLEASE HELPPP !!!!

I was about to flash the firmware 21.85.17 to my XT1063 this afternoon via USB. But then after I flashed gpt.bin, my cmd said "waiting for device", then nothing else happened. I unplugged my phone then plugged it again then my computer says "USB device not recognized" with a yellow triangle and exclamation mark inside. And the phone gets stuck at AP Fastboot Flash Mode, I tried holding the buttons in a few difrent ways, no button (power and volume rockers) works. Since then I can't do anything.
Anyone has experienced this please help!

[Q] Using fastboot to boot directly into Recovery? topic

Hi, my device (euro 8gb dual sim, 5.0.2 ota updated) got crazy last night with lots of FC and unresponsive behaviour.
It boots into system but even screen is off most of time. I can only access power menu before FCs appear and screen goes off.

I tried to boot into recovery but it is not possible since droid on its backs never appears. (see this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto...2#post59096800)

Is there any command to launch recovery menu via fastboot?

Furthermore, since I can access fastboot menu, I saw a "Factory" option near "Recovery" option. What is it for?

Huawei MediaPad X1 fastboot issue topic

The command fastboot devices shows me a strange result. So it is impossible to unlock bootloader. And no idea what to do...

At first it was success (but issue with gallery), but I have tried to flash again, this time I have selected the wrong variant (not Korean model)
after flashing my device not booting normally, It was struck at the following..

when I connect my device to laptop, it is showing as follows.

I do not know what happened but when i tryed to flash new rom 5.02 on my oneplus i had a fail message.
Unfortunately did some mystake, no backup the original rom.
Now i'm juste able to enter to recovery no fast boot no systeme since i wipe davil cash and system.
No adb findinf on my mac.
I'm using toolkit for mac. Please juste let me know what to do.

Adb and fastboot don't recognize phone. I've made sure I installed the correct jre and the SDK is installed at the latest version with the addons needed for it.

Am I missing something?

Is there any possibility using dd command in fastboot or recovery? If not, how can I clone a partition in fastboot or recovery? I have accidentally wiped my internal sd storage, I don't want to flash a ROM so I wont overwrite userdata partition. Thank you.

Failed to validate system image & stuck in fastboot topic

Hello, back in december I was trying to load up an app on my phone but in a video the guy said to download chainfire so I did and installed the driver and my phone got stuck in the warning unlocked bootloader screen and I really can't remember what I did but I did something with downloading the system restore image but it wouldn't work so I changed up the files and now my phone is stuck in fastboot and no longer is usable so I just threw it in my drawer and never used it again up until now here I am asking for help on how to resolve this issue. I'm no android techie so I really don't know much about anything other than rooting phones. My phone is a Moto G XT1031. Also I can't charge my phone because when I leave it, the phone just keeps rebooting and it really doesn't charge much.

Hello, is there any way I can dd a partition from fastboot or recovery? I have accidentally advanced wipe my internal SD card, I don't want to flash anything yet so I can recover my files from mmcblk0p28. I have been searching everywhere but I cannot find the answer. Thanks.

Stuck in fastboot, no udc_start() topic

I have flashed the latest version of CloudyG2 over my D802 CM 12 but just after I have done this I have realized that the ROM was for the Korean version of the device! My Phone is now stuck with a blackscreen with "fastboot started" written on. I seen a lot of threads of issues like this, but most of them have also "udc_start()" and mine doesn't. I can't access recovery or download mode, but I can access hardware buttons mode, I have done the procedure to get to the recovery at least a thousand times with no result. Any suggestion or procedure I can follow?

Nexus 5 doesn't recognize computer while in fastboot topic

I'm trying to flash TWRP on a nexus 5. Bootloader is already unlocked. USB debugging is enabled. The command "adb reboot-bootloader" works when the device is on. While in fastboot it does not say USB is connected and doesn't show up on adb devices. (My laptop is currently running Elementary OS)

TL;DR The title

Hey XDA,

So about a month or two ago, I decided to check out xdabbeb's VS982.5 rom because i felt like a bit of fresh air after all the lollipop roms was in order. So I grabbed his bumped bootstack+recovery, and flashed over to the rom.

What I didn't anticipate(and what I really shoule have) was the issues I would have getting back over to a lollipop rom because of the compatibility problems between loki'd and bumped roms and recoveries.

This is where my memory gets fuzzy because this was so long ago, and I apologize if that causes issues with fixing my problem. I do remember trying several different recoveries and bootstacks and none of them would flash because of the bumped recovery. Eventually I found a way to get back to my backup (The January 11th build of BlissPop). However, I still could not flash roms because of the bumped recovery I could not get off of. I tried several different recoveries, and several different methods of flashing them.

Eventually I downloaded flashify off the play store and downloaded the a recovery from there and flashed it from there, which to my recollection broke both my download mode and my recovery. The rom still works, but I can't access recovery or download mode to flash any new roms or do anything besides what is in the rom.

I would appreciate any suggestions anybody has for me, and am willing to totally revert to stock to fix this.

ive had installed a insertcoin rom and tried to convert to google edition m8

but it didnt work, im stucked in a loop that only let me install twrp 2.8 and it does flash the firmware.zip corresponding to the firmware of the googl001 edition.

ive tried to change the recovery 3.28.401.9 and 3.11 but it only let install the trwp 2.8....

ive change the mid to 0P6B17000 but i cant remember the original

i dont know what to do....
