Nexus 9 LTE Factory Image with no encryption topic
Hi,
I was pretty dismayed on two counts :
1. The stock factory image doesn't work without editing
2. It's uber-fiddly to get encryption disabled unless you really know what you are doing
There's the problem, so the solution has to be a stock factory fastboot install with no encryption - easy!! This I have created.
Once flashed you will have a stock un-encrypted Nexus 9 LTE.
Download the zip from :-

- Download
- Extract the zip
- Go into the folder where the image files and flash-all files are
- Open Command Prompt (Windows) or Terminal (Linux or OSX)
- Run flash-all.bat for windows or .\flash-all.sh for Linux or OSX
Once flashed you will have a stock un-encrypted Nexus 9 LTE.

I flashed Prism Barebone rom.
But when I want to encrypt device, it doesn't happen. It just show encryption screen for awhile, then reboots and nothing happens.
Device is not encrypted. Any suggestion?

[Q] TWRP encryption support topic
Hello folks,
after getting more and more paranoid about the more or less unprotected files on my smartphone, I would like to encrypt it. Anyway I want to make shure that I will be able to flash Custom Roms as usual. I already read some threads about TWRP supporting encryption, but they are all relatively outdated and from a time where this was more or less an experimental feature, so here comes my question:
How are your experiences with TWRPs encryption support? Will I be able to flash custom roms? What problems did you encounter? What do I need to take into account before encrypting my phone?
I hope you can help me, if you have any other sources I should read, let me know.
Thank you
Simon

S4 mini forget encryption pin topic
Hi everybody,
I have got a couple of S4 mini, which are encrypted and saved via a 4 digit PIN.
Three of these devices had the problem, that they can´t remember the correct PIN to decrypt the device after a power down.
So I had to wipe all three devices and installed them again.
Anybody heared something about this problem? Is anybody knowing a specal reason for this behaviour?
Thanks in advice
