Install recovery from download mode? Bricked D802. Need help please. topic

So I bricked my phone by trying to install Lollipop and I cant get into recovery, only in Download mode. How to install recovery again or stock rom or something. Anything...

So i guess i bricked it.
I used the flash tool and flashed a kdz over my stock kk rom.
The thing is after this it boot up, and i get "unfortunatelly com.android.systemui...... stopped" .
I cannot go to download mode or recovery.
What can i do ?
I thing i tryied every thing but the hard unbrick.

Hi!

I managed to get my device totally bricked.

Phone is on bootloop and I only get LG logo and then "Security Error" message. I can't enter recovery mode or download mode. Only mode I'm able to go is the "Hardware key control mode" mode, where I can see my IMEI code. I can't get windows or linux to recognize my phone. I've tried several drivers, but no luck getting my laptop recognize my phone. I have also tried couple of tutorials to solve this problem, but the main problem seems to be that I can't get my laptop to recognize my phone.

Is there anything I could do or should I just buy a new phone? :confused:

I just got a G2 D802 (International version) running 4.4.2 running on t-mobile network.

I was wondering if there is a way to flash kernel/radio/ROM or anything to get the 4G LTE running on my device. Right now my devise flips between H and 3G.

Bricked phone, need help D802 32GB topic

Lg g2 D802 32GB

Got my phone bricked once when trying to install lollipop rom.
After successfuly restoring it and getting the 16GB error and fixing it I restored to stock 4.2.2 and in recovery accidently installed the KK bootloader and rebooted instead of installing the rom.

No download mode.
No recovery.
First phone booted and then the screen turned off and was only sounds (Booting in, connecting to pc, etc.)
Now nothing.
the only thing I managed to enter is the Hard button mode....
I tried every forum,thread,files,method mentioned exept the "Open the phone to pieces and tinker with it" method mentioned here somewhere.

If there is some hope for me before going to a repair shop and hopefully someone there smarter than me and can actually fix it... would really appreceate every advice you might have on the matter.

LG G2 D802 32GB Stock Firmware Restore topic

Hello

I recently tried to upgrade my LG G2 D802 into ROM_SIMPLE_5.0.1_V1.1, but when the flashing finishes, the device sticks on LG Logo.

Then, I tried the OptimusG3 V1.4.1 and it flashes correctly, and it starts to "starting apps", but stuck on it. I did a reboot, but when it starts it shows and sticks on the "Android" word after the "colored show".
I tried several times, but no use :(

Finally, I tried the CM12 Lollipop LG G2 -d802 and it worked perfectly. But now, I want to get back into the Official Stock.

P.S., the LGFlashTool works on with the ".tot" files, and I have the Official Stock, bot with ".kdz" extension, and it doesn't work with the LGFlashTool!!

D802 Bricked after flash rom topic

I have CloudyG2 v2.2 ROM and have nandroid backup for this rom.
I try installed Simple Rom v1.1 and my phone rebooted after the install and stuck on black screen after LG logo.

I try restore the nandroid backup and the backup wont boot up! stuck on LG logo!

What can I do?

when I plug on PC, doesn't detect, and my OTG flash driver doesn't detect too

D802 - Stucks on LG Logo -No Recover, No fastboot and No Downlaod Mode topic

I have a LGD802 32GB it stucks on LG Logo and a green/blue LED is blinking. I can't get into Recovery or Download Mode, nor fastboot is working. Only thing what I can do is to push all buttons and get into the IMEI menue. Don't think this can help me anyway.

A few times ago the LGD802 only shows fastboot mode and so i followed the steps discribed in many threads.
fastboot erase recovery
fastboot erase laf
fastboot erase boot

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash laf laf.img
fastboot flash boot boot.img

fastboot reboot

after that it only stucks on LG Logo.

I also tried the flashTool 2014 method, but phone will ne be correctly recognized by the OS. False Driver?

The Flashtool stops at 4%

Hello,

I received a LG G2 D802 and have a question regarding it('s build quality). I have no other D802 to compare it to, that's why I am asking here:

When tapping firmly with the finger on the upper right side of the device, I can hear some kind of "clattering" from inside the device. Now I am wondering:

Is this normal?

I had a look at some tear down pictures/videos of the LG G2 and it seems like the motor for the vibration feature is located in the upper right side of the device.

So, could it be the motor which produces this clattering sound when firmly tapping on the right side of the device with the finger?

It might be worth mentioning that, when shaking the device, I can not hear this clattering sound as much. It's much quieter when shaking the device.

It's basically only happening to this extend when firmly tapping the upper right side of the device with the finger.

Or could the clattering simply come from the optical image stabilization of the camera when shaking/tapping the device?

Also:

When firmly tapping the touchscreen, I can feel and hear a difference between tapping the right side of the touchscreen and tapping the left side of the touchscreen.

When firmly tapping the left side of the touchscreen, it feels very "stiff" / "hard". But I mean that in a good way, it feels very solid.

However, when firmly tapping the right side of the touchscreen it feels kinda like as if the area below the touchscreen would somehow be a little "hollow". I can also hear a difference when firmly tapping the touchscreen while holding it to my ear. When tapping the left side it sounds solid. But when tapping the right side it sounds a little "hollow", kinda like a audible resonance.

The glass and display does not seem to be visibly moving though and the device seems to be working just fine otherwise.

Is this normal?

PS: Tapping the rear side of the device is similar and also produces this somehow "hollow" audible resonance.

Hi guys,
as you know the first Ubuntu Phone is here (BQ Aquaris E4.5).
I think that Ubuntu Phone OS is really interesting and could work really well on devices without any hardware navbar (due to swipe control).
So, LG G2 could work really well with this OS. ;)

I really hope to see Ubuntu Phone working on LG G2 D802..Maybe it could be just a dream, or could become real thanks to a great Dev? :confused:
