[Q] No vibration a week after lollipop topic

I updated to lollipop about a week ago. At that point in time everything was working fine. However randomly today the vibration function in my phone stopped working. So I can't get haptic feedback or vibration when calls come in or through normal notifications.

I'm running the international stock version of the sense rom. No root or anything.

I've so far tested the vibrator function on the phone via the *#*#3424 number and it didn't work at all.

Did a factory reset and the same result.

Is there any workaround to this or would I need to root and install a new ROM?

I have a Dual Z3 (d6633) come from a Samsung Grand Duos which had a very useful function (which in this exceptional smartphone does not have): in case of a missed call or sms incoming unread if you move your phone without turn on the screen makes a vibration to indicate the presence of a missed call or text message.Is there a way or an app to make it?

Vibration problem topic

I need someone with knowledge about M8's system apps and modules.
My phone vibrates REALLY loud. Too loud to even use vibration. I know I can fix that with flashing a custom kernel which supports that, but I don't root, s-off etc. my phones anymore because I don't have time for that. So, is there a "module" in system or sys folder, or something, in which we can change the value for vibration intensity? Because if is, I could just root my phone and change that value and keep everything stock, without flashing kernels.

ringtone and vibration doesnt work after Lollipop update topic

Hello everyone.
I've update my Moto G 2 gen last thursday and the ringtone and vibration stoped working, the phone doesn't ring or vibrate when receives a call.
Is this a knowed problem from dthe Lollipop update? Can anyone help me?

HTC M8 Vibration Issue topic

So this is regarding the vibration issue on HTC M8 now its currently on Lollipop.

Vibration doesn't work anymore, I checked using the diagnostics test and from there it doesn't work.
Sometimes it work but after that it wont work anymore.( when receiving calls or when receiving messages).

The phone was previously modded using xposed framework.... and such.

I believe it has somthing to do with mod.

well there we are, at last found a way to turn haptic
feedback off on my x2 without root
so,lets start,
1st of all ur phone must be rooted .
step 1: dwnload this app , ''apps ops" from apk4fun
after installing open the app , there will be 2 options ,
1.native apps ops
2.install apps opps x .
select option 1
u will see many apps there , select 'system'(android
system not the system ui)
there will many permission turned on, ignore
'vibrate' from there nd its done !!!
haptic of home nd back will be turned off
u can also turn off the vibrte of alarm clock by the
same process .

Z2 vibration issue topic

Hello everyone, just recently i swirched to z2 the phone was working without any issues before updating to 4.4.4 now after updating my phone stops vibrating suddenly and starts again after some time... does anyone else face this issue?? And is there a possible solution for this.?
