[Q] Proximity sensor fail topic

Hello!

I have a Sony Xperia Z2, and I was very satisfied with the device until I made an upgrade to the Android verion. Since then, the proximity sensor has issues, is working for a while, after is not working. When I restart the device, it's working again, but not always. Also, the gyroscope is having the same problems. Can all this be because of the software? I am running 23.0.1.A.3.9

Im having problem with imei certificate.

When i update phone or flash it via Odin.
Or flash a custom rom i get imei certi fail problem and i have to send it to local mobile repairing store.
He repairs it by Z3x box.
I have done backup of whole rom using both Twrp nad philipz recovery still when i restore the full backup with efs i have imei certi fail. Which course no service.

[Q] Secure Fail: Kernel after downloading Clockworkmod recovery with ROM manager topic

I have Samsung Galaxy S III Verizon.
Rooted with Kingo ROOT.
I was trying to install a custom ROM so I had to download ROM Manager to install Clockworkmod Recovery.
After doing so, however, whenever I try to go into recovery mode, a screen with SECURE FAIL: KERNAL, a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark, and the message "System software not authorized by Verizon Wireless has been found on your phone. Please turn off your phone and go to the nearest Verizon Wireless store for help" comes up.
Then the the only way to access the device is to go to download mode and then cancel it because if I try to turn the device on the normal way, it keeps on going to recovery mode and the fail message.
I tried manually installing CWM using a computer, but when I type in "fastboot devices", nothing shows up. I tried everything including pdanet and other stuff but none work.
I can't even factory reset or anything.
Don't know what to do.
I just want to install a custom ROM.
Please help. I have been stuck on this problem for days.

[Q] Trying to update my phone, got security fail! topic

I kept trying to update my phone to the newest rom, but the auto update wouldn't work. Because of this, I tried to manually do it following the instructions on the htc website.

This method used the RUU thing.

However, it kept giving me error [155]'s, and now if I unplug my phone from the usb, I just get the "security fail!" and I can't seem to get out of it, or even turn off my phone!

What should I do?

I have read read read cant find a specific solution ..Ok im on KOT49H I337ucufmld. I was on 4.3 before I have flashed with odin many times at first I got a fail at the start aboot.mbn nand fail ..so I removed that file and it started to install but failed at the end... my knox is set to 01 . my boot loader of course was locked down when I tried to flash another recovery.. so I read and people suggested pit files along with tar so I did that. no firmware Samsung official or otherwise will try to install at all with the aboot.mbn intact within the tar . ive flashed and flashed ..everything... so then I got a 32 gb pit file and did a nand erase in odin...and I noticed that by doing that I have my stock recovery back . I then re flashed the proper 16gb pit file and it remained working..so now I have download mode and stock recovery both working but have NO SYSTEM at all installed and cant seem to install one....I need good solid advise..is it a paper weight or is ther a way to zip or tar back either by odin or stock recovery.. help please.

hi everybody. I have an samsung galaxy note 3 (sm-n9005 lte international version, 4.4.2 ) and 2 days ago I´ve rooted it. I downloaded the exposed installer apk and tried to install but after all the process is done it says that the app could not be installed. I´ve tried install several versions of apk but all of them with the same result. Any idea of what´s happening? thanks

Hi Guys.

I really need some help here and would really appreciate it as it's driving me up the wall for the past week. And I have combed through the forum looking for a solution before posting. So here goes.

I have a One M7 running on ARHD84 with 6.13.707.1 firmware. Learning of the coming OTA update for Lollipop, I decided to return to stock the best I can S-ON. Thus my nightmare begins.

1) I did a nandroid backup restore with a file named 2014-09-15--13-39-50 KTU84L release-keys (I don't have a nandroid backup of my own). It worked fine. Then I did the OTA update (6.13.707.4). It pops an error "Variant System Version".

2) Thinking it must be the nandroid issue, I went for guru reset 3.63.707.4 ROM and it installed with stock recovery and radio. Startup okay then I did the OTA update. It installed halfway and stopped to show a red exclamation error. I hard reset the phone and it went into a bootloop. It loops at the HTC logo. I went into fastboot, flashed twrp and got my phone back with the nandroid backup.
** Stock recovery goes into black screen.

3) Tried the nandroid again. Still Variant System Version.

4) Tried a lower guru reset 2.24.707.1 and it installed with stock recovery and radio. Startup okay and did the OTA update. It installed 1/3 and went into bootloop. This time it took me many many many tries to get back into bootloader.
** Stock recovery never happens, it just goes to black screen

5) Scoured the internet, came back a little wiser and tried the gurureset 3.63.707.4 again. This time I flashed the stock recovery again just to be sure. And this time, guess what.... same thing. Installs 1/3 and goes into the red exclamation mark. Only advancement was it did not go into bootloop.

Hey there so i found on Sammobile the 5.0 version of the UK (Vodafone)

I downloaded it and tried to flash via Odin and it failed.

It fails at the last part hidden.img (FAIL) Size.

I tried other USB ports, Updated Samsung drivers , Reboot PC
I read somewhere about a PIT file (which unfortunately i don't have.

I had root but now i cannot enter recovery since its stuck in a boot loop..


Is there anything else i can do?

It started with the OzcanRom 6.3, come on ...

I bought a Galaxy S4 already with the official rom Kit Kat, worked all right.

I did not do backup of IMEI and installed the OzcanRom, then the IMEI was null or generic, since I can not remember more ...

So I sent the phone for assistance with official rom Kat Kit installed, and failed to rewrite the IMEI this

rom ... I was asked to take the phone with ROM Jelly Bean (4.2.2), this worked, IMEI returned.

But I wanted a more updated Android, so I made up the IMEI, I have several here ...

And installed the official rom new Kit Kat ... The IMEI was generic ... I installed several modems and the original IMEI not

back ...

Then restored the original IMEI EFS Professional, IMEI returned, but with network problems ... Only Call

emergency was allowed. I noticed that appeared a warning of a second, a blue square, saying something about

related to "Factory Mode" ... But it was so fast that he could not take print screen ...

So I ended up going back to OzcamRom again, just to be more beautiful.

[Q] HTC sensation xe stuck on HTC logo after fail controlbear topic

hello everyone
i'm facing a problem for days now, after i unlocked my phone i tried to s-ff it with controlbear but unfortunately while i was trying to do the wire trick i accidentally unmounted the sd unit and now im stuck with the boot logo(HTC logo), I've tried the RUU_Pyramid_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.35.707.1_Radio_10.43a.9 007.00U_10.51.9007.27_M3_release_198358_signed.exe (my icd is HTC__044), i even tried to manual flash it using 4ext but still im stuck.
im out of options...
anyone who can help me pleas ...

Any/All ODIN flashes FAIL! topic

I've been trying to root my T807T and everyone with one on the forums here has reported that all T805 stuff works just fine on it.

I have installed USB drivers, USB Debugging set to on. Been using Odin 3.07 as well as 3.09.
I tried multiple USB ports and two computers and a whole lot of different wires (including original ones).
I disabled my Anti-virus and do not have Kies installed.

I am not a newbie to flashing and have been rooting Samsungs since the first Galaxy S Vibrant all those years ago. I have never seen anything like this.

Everything I try to flash in Odin comes up with FAIL! after about halfway through flashing. I can restart my tablet and everything works fine, but this is making it impossible to root.

Any/all help is very much appreciated. If anyone is NYC local and can give it a shot, that'd be great.

CM12 updates fail topic

The last version of CM12 my nexus 6 is on is from January 28th. I decided to update to the latest nightly but it fails. Says zip checking fails. It does that for every nightly I download. I've tried the last 7 days updates. I'm currently downloading it on my PC and will xfer it to my device manually.

Anyone else experiencing this?
