[Q] USB and SD Card storage unavailable, upper bar not showing up. etc. topic

I have a big problem with my Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 GT-S6500D. My SD Card and USB storage is not loading up. If I try to open my files or gallery or listen to music it tells me there is not card inserted. When I go see the amount of storage used, It says 0,00B/0,00B for both USB and SD Card. Also, the upper part of the screen where it's suppose to give me notifications and battery stats and time is missing. I tried a few ways of fixing but to no avail. Anyone know how to fix this, people if it's possible not to lose my memory?

So I bought a 910c note 4 from Lithuania and I want to use in the UK. Am I right in thinking I don't need to change the csc? Someone pointed out it didn't change anything. But does it really not...updates still not so late no problems etc.? Thanks.

Do you know if there's a chance to see a rom like cyanogen , AOKP or slimkat for this E8 ? Even an unofficial port eventually .

It seems that developers are ignoring this device.....


P.s. Another question: actually and officially what is the last release of android for that phone? 4.4.4? And have the eye experience like m8 or not for now?

[Q] What creates the "base" file system and layout (/boot, /system, etc.)? topic

Hi all
Any time I've opened an ADB shell ('adb shell') and listed the directories ('ls -l') I see directories like /boot, /sdcard, /system, /root, etc.
What creates that layout and the file system it lives on/in?

My best guess is that it created when "installing" a ROM in form of a zip file, using recovery (CWM, TWRP, etc.).

Music skips, beeps, audio glitches, etc. in Lollipop CM12 topic

I am making this thread to troubleshoot the issue of audio glitches when listening to music using CM12. If you have the same problem (or don't), please share any information or the ROM/Kernel you are using.

What is the issue? When listening to music either on a headset or bluetooth, the music occasionally makes a short skip or beeping sound. This happens for me only in Spotify, some have reported Google Play music and CM music player also has issues.

When does it happen? It typically occurs when the screen is off, but also sometimes when using the device when touching the display.
It may also have something to do with wifi/data running if you are streaming music. Will test downloaded offline music soon.

Possible fixes:

- Change Performace mode to 'Performace' in settings. (Suggested via joaopma on Reddit: http://www.reddit.com/r/oneplus/comm..._audio_glitch/)

- Install AK Kernel (Lowered the glitches from about 10 per song to 1-2 per song)

- Franco Kernel is reported to fix the audio issues (not tested)

New to the LG G3, lag, redraws etc... topic

Just got my LG G3, yesterday and as soon as i turned on it was prompting to update to lollipop, so i did.

Perhaps I should have tested before to see what it was like before lollipop.

But it seems there is pretty much ever so slightly lag everywhere, compared to my Nexus 5 I just got rid of.

also the home screen redraws seem nearly as bad as the S5 I had once (one reason I hate Samsung bloat)

perhaps I need to flash a Custom rom, or do you need to hard reset once your updated to lollipop OTA
