Rom development (AOKP, AOSP etc..) topic

Do you know if there's a chance to see a rom like cyanogen , AOKP or slimkat for this E8 ? Even an unofficial port eventually .

It seems that developers are ignoring this device.....


P.s. Another question: actually and officially what is the last release of android for that phone? 4.4.4? And have the eye experience like m8 or not for now?

I build this ROM using aokp source for tomato aka YU Yureka.
I am not the developer of this ROM. I just build this ROM.

This ROM does not have gapps (Google Play Strore & other google goodies)

Prerequists: YU should be on stock rom OR cyanogenmod 11,0.

Download:

1. First flash recovery image file (CWM recovery)

   sudo fastboot -i 0x1ebf flash recovery recovery.img

   ---

   
   


2. Now boot to this CWM recovery.


3. FactoryReset/ Clear Data. Clear Cache.


4. Install aokp_tomato_kitkat_unofficial_2015-02-12.zip (ROM file) from sdcard.


5. Reboot system & enjoy AOKP ROM.


6. If needed download & flash gapps also.
