[Q] Laptop Screen Freezes topic
Hey Guys
I just wondering if anyone experiencing this kind of prob like mine and how did you solve it..
I got a MSI CX420 laptop, it works after my sister just turned it off and when I turned it on it freezes from the very first boot. As you can see on the picture that was the first thing you will see when you turn on my laptop in normal mode, but then this is my problem when I open it up the first thing you see here is the last thing I see before I turn it off again meaning it stays there..
I've done all the test i know like resetting BIOS
removing the HDD, I used that in other laptop and works fine
I went to professionals to see if something happens, they told me that the processor failed.. Is this true?

Hello dear all,I have a real big problem, my Ulefone Be Pro randomly freezes and reboot by itself!! :crying:
Is any of you able to explain me shortly how to debug the errors on Android? I'm perfectly able to do it with any Windows PC and OS version but I've no idea how to do it with my Be Pro.... I need to discover when the smartphone freezes what was doing... it freezes very randomly and unfortunately also frequently, suddenly the smartphone freezes in any situation....navigating with MAPS, writing a text in Whatsapp , receiving a notification, instaling an app, exiting from idle status, sometimes also during switch off..... really any situation and then reboot by itself !!!
The Android version is 4.4.4 with the last firmware update from Ulefone applied "c211_gq3019_3m_hd_extamp_20150212"
Many thanks in advance for any help

[Troubleshooting]No more random Freezes & Reboot topic
Many of you (and I) experienced random freezes & reboots but found no solutions, even after flashing so many different ROMs.
Hopefully I've found the cause & the SOLUTION.
I've been flashing custom ROM from the first time I own a gadget but recently after I flash Gnabo 8 I experienced something strange: Random Freezes & Reboots.
In my case, random reboots occur after 31 hours of usage.
After I analyzed the problem I concluded that the cause is rogue apps running in the background & hogging the CPU to an extend that the device can't be used anymore.
Then the freezes & reboots occur.
After 1 month of analyzing further, I found 3 processes in my N8000 that become the Prime Suspects:
I consulted to Andi (Lord Boeffla) & Mikyno about this before eliminating the PRIME SUSPECTS to just 1 rogue app.
My knowledge in Linux + Google come handy in this matter & concluded that kswapd0 is the cause(?)
kswapd0 is responsible for creating swap file a.k.a virtual memory in case the real RAM is not enough.
In Linux, there is a separate partition that is dedicated for virtual memory a.k.a swap partition but in android, specially our N80XX, I can't find any swap partition.
How come kswapd0 active & consume so much CPU time & causing freezes+reboots where there is no swap partition?
Further researches bring me these information:
I don't know how the sysctl.conf is empty but the vm.swappiness=130 is set, but I modified it to vm.swappiness=0.
Then I reboot my N8000.
Now my N8000 is running without incidents for 3 days & 20 hours straight.
I hope this is the final solution I wanted & I also hope that this information can help others with the same problem too.

- In my current ROM (ARHD 21.0) my sysctl.conf is empty, BUT...
- using Android Tuner, I find that vm.swappiness is 130!!
vm.swappiness is a setting value to control kswapd0 on when to write the RAM content into disk/internal memory.
vm.swappiness=0 is to tell to avoid writing to disk/internal memory as much as possible.
vm.swappiness=100 is to tell to write to disk/internal memory as much as possible (avoiding RAM).

What did I tried to do:
- I flashed several recoveries (CivZ-Touch-6.0.4.4., CWM-Recovery, philz_touch_6.07.9, TWRP-2850 and stock recoveries) which worked.
- I flashed two different stock ROMs with odin and the passed, but the tablet still does not start
- Tried to root tablet with "CF-Auto-Root-konawifi-konawifixx-gtn5110", also passed with odin. A red Android man appeared and it told me something like mount error.
Thank you in advance!

[Q] Viber freezes on each and every group message topic
Hi,
I'm using Viber for a long time and it's quit a while that I have this problem. I'm using Samsung Galaxy S4 with oroginal ROM and have few active conversations in my Viber list. The current version of my Viber is 5.2.1.
The problem:
Whenever I get a text message in a "group conversation", the Viber screen freezes and the CPU consumption rises to 50%, after few minutes (1 to 10 minutes depends on the number of incoming messages) the CPU usage drops again and Viber starts working normally until I receive another text message in a group conversation.
Fact1 :
There is no problem with private text messages (one to one), no matter how many texts I receive. As long as they are private everything is fine.
Fact2 :
Small groups are also not a big issue. I'm member of groups with 5-6 people and I have no problem with receiving texts in these groups.
Fact 3 :
In a group with (roughly) 50 members, even the "X joined" message will freeze the Viber for few minutes and will increase the CPU usage to more than 50%.
Fact4 :
I did almost all recommendations in other posts like: rebooting, clearing the cache, clearing the app data, Re-installing the app, leaving the groups and joining them again, etc. but none of them helped.
Fact5 :
When I'm leaving ALL of those groups which have more than 20 members, then everything is going back to normal and I can use Viber normally (for private texts), but when I join back to even ONE of those groups, by receiving the first text, problem rises again (as long as there is no text from the group conversations, Viber works fine. Means that just joining a group doesn't make any problem, problem appears when Viber tries to fetch new messages in such groups).
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
