Hello , I am sad, I changed values from build.prop, I remember I changed the SMI TO SHAMU and ro.product.xxx values, as ro.product.cpu.abi = armeabi-v7a, at this moment my razr i is like a nexus 6

I rebooted my Razr i and now not turn on my phone. It gets stuck in bootloader poster or message. My phone does not recognize the USB and I can not get into the recovery or fastboot mode, and even, I used the key combination " [Power] + [VOL +] + [VOL -]"

It gets stuck in WARNING, BOOTLOADER UNLOCKED. I can not turn off my cellphone, because it gets turn on again, "using combination key".

i have xperia z3 D6603 unlocked bootloader.

i was talking on the phone with a friend when suddenly i couldn't hear him, i checked the phone, the phone was dead even though i had 80% of charge left.

i tried pressing volume and power button at the same time nothing happened.
i tried pressing the yellow button next to the sim card nothing happened.
i left it charging for 3 hours nothing happened.
i left it alone for 2 hours maybe it would work by itself but nothing happened.

so i was wondering what can i do ? i remembered that i have read somewhere about how to remove a password of a phone even if the phone is encrypted. this has no relation to the matter but what came to my mind is that, when they want to crack the password they have to put the phone in the freezer for 1 hour.

i have no solution left the phone was dead it doesn't connect to the pc, it doesn't power on, no vibration, nothing...
i put it in the freezer for 1 hour exactly. i went to check on it, i pressed the power button and voilaaa it turned on with ice all over the phone.

i entered twrp backup and made a restore of my previous backup. all went ok i restarted to system and after 1 minute it went black and dead again.

i said maybe the freezer didn't help maybe i should just leave it alone. i left it alone again and nothing happend for 2 hours.
i put it back in the freezer for 1 and a half hour, i added 30 minutes just to be sure.

when the time passed i went again to check and here it is powering on again. i left it in the freezer to fully power on.
i went to the computer and downloaded a stock kernel while the phone is still on in the freezer.
i went to the freezer and powered the phone down and took it to the computer and flashed the kernel.

after that i powered it on normally and it worked just fine, the only problem i had is that the battery wont get to 100% while charging it stops at 99%. i locked the bootloader using flashtool and used pc companion to restore it to the official firmware.

now the phone charges to 100% locked bootloader and works just fine like a new one. the battery seems to last longer as some people have said about putting the battery in the freezer for it to last longer. i think it does work after all.

Hey there!

Yesterday i got a notification on my phone, and as I turned on the screen and tried to unlock I realised that the phone didn't respond to any touches.
As is normal, I did a hard reboot of the device, which didn't fix the issue. I then booted into recovery to reinstall my kernel, but as I have Philz recovery installed, I noticed that there were also no touches registered.
I proceeded to reflash my kernel navigating with the volume- and power keys, but after a reboot It didn't fix my issue.
Then I tried reföashing the latest modem, but that didn't help also.

After that I disassembled my phone to see if any connector was loose, but there wasn't.

From this point on I've got no clue what could be wrong as there is no visible damage to the digitizer glass, or the screen assembly in general. I also didn't flash anything wrong. As I said, I unlocked my device, and suddenly the touchscreen was dead.

I am taking my phone to a repair shop today, and I'll see if anything can be fixed. If not, I'll buy a screen assenbly online, and replace it by myself, but that is rather the second option as one either costs 130€, or it takes two months to ship.

Anyone else got this problem, or knows what is wrong?

So I have come to the conclusion that my phone is totally dead. No lights or any response from pushing or holding any combination of buttons, and the charge indicator doesn't come on. No USB activity either. It just died one day while streaming music.

I have picked up a ZTE Zinger as a stand-in, so not in any rush.

Now what do I do with the One? Looking at repair costs, it seems I could just replace it with a very nice used one for even money.

I wouldn't mind selling on Ebay for repair purposes, but I'm not going to do that without being able to wipe it.

Suggestions?

So I've been happy for a couple of years with previous ROM. Installed Airdroid and it totally killed it. Just bootlooping now.

I'm going on a trip tomorrow and need the hotspot. Can anyone point me to a ROM that is stable and has the hotspot rolled into it. Data, and roaming required, working bluetooth would be good too. .

I've been reading for hours as usual (it's 3:30am and I'm running out of time), but am not sure the current state of the development of the ROMs for a phone this old.

Uhm... Good afternoon.

I really don't know what happened to my XT907. I was playing Castle Clash, and then, suddenly...

- Smart Launcher Pro stopped
- GApps stopped
- Messenger stopped
- Amazon MP3 stopped
- WhatsApp stopped

And 4 or 5 more apps stopped. I nned to say what I wasn't using any of that apps but Smart Launcher Pro and WhatsApp.
So I selected the common Power Button... Power Off... Then I used the common Power Button for Turn On my XT907...

Stuck on the boot animation. It makes the sounds as receiving WhatsApp messages and that, but it's eternally on the boot animation (it isn't a bootloop)

What to do in this case?

(I need to add something else: I used the volume up button and every time I use it, the cellphone vibrates)

My situation:

My device has a screen issue, meaning while I can touch the screen, I can't see anything on it. Due to the nature of this issue, and the fact that a previous repair to this device required only a reflash of the update, I believe it is a software issue.

I do not have ADB debugging enabled but since I have touch access I might be able to blindly enable it.

So, can I flash an OTA zip to Wear without being able to see screen content? I don't think I can get into ADB update mode seeing as I cannot see anything, but any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

Hello, yesterday I flashed indian version of 4.4.4 xt1022 on my xt1021, then I updated to lollipop. Today I wanted to go back to 4.4.4 spanish version. flashed the 4.4.2 via fastboot and all went fine, turned the phone ON and update popped up ( update to 4.4.4 ) downloaded update, restarted and phone started to install the update, when it finished it just turned off and it doesnt power up, cant access recovery, bootloader.. nothing. If i connect the phone to PC and hold a large time the power button thenotification led starts blinking.
Any idea about how to fix this? D:

Digitizer dead spot topic

Hi folks,
I'm having some screen issues.

There is a vertical band on the right side of the screen that isn't registering any touch input. I'm currently running CM 12, but I've tried installing a stock variant and the problem persists.

This all points to a bad digitizer, but the affected part of the screen seems to work fine in recovery and on the lock screen.

I'm completely stumped. Does anyone have any advice?
