GPS hardware failure...I think? topic
The aGPS works well enough that I haven't spent a lot of time troubleshooting, but sometimes I do need a full on GPS, and it flat out doesn't work.
I followed all the instructions for GPS Status & Toolkit, accidentally left it for a couple hours outside (fortunately it stayed nice), and it never found a single satellite.
I then installed Faster GPS, and tinkered with the gps.conf settings a bit, and it made no difference.
One thing notable is the GPS_DEBUG was set to 1 = "Error"...not sure if that is related, but even after changing that variable and confirming it stayed after a reboot, no improvement.
I also took it apart and the blue antenna appears to still be intact and properly seated, so I don't think that's a factor. Didn't see any burnt chips though, either.
Any ideas?

Got a brand new Samsung S5 but i think it is used topic
Hello all,
I have bought a brand new Samsung S5 SM-G900F on Saturday but when i opened it i saw a little damage on the plastic/aluminium ring. The e-shop which i got it said that they won't replace it because i have used it but the only thing i did was to insert the SIM and checked if it is operational.
Additionally, when i booted the device and put in my information (gmail, etc) i saw that the Android version was Android 5.0. Shouldn't my phone had Android 4.4.2? This is a brand new phone.
Is there any option in the phone which can identify when Android 5.0 was installed?
Thanks for everyone who will respond. I am trying to get a replacement so your answer will be very helpful.
Thanks,
Christos

Do you think this sd card is real? topic
My 64gb sd card just died, i want to get a 128gb. I know the seller has 100% but most people dont know to test with h2testw.
So do you think this is real? Does it look like yours? Do you see anything that would make you think it is fake?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/SanDisk-128G.../251833791331?

[Q] I think my TF700 is dying topic
I have been using this thing almost daily since I got it. It was rooted within a day of getting it and I've been running sbdags' ROMS on it exclusively. Many builds were lightning fast. Not so much lately. I am not getting the reported "buttery slickness" that others are getting. This has been on a few builds, so I'm posting here, as I dare not blame the ROM.
One of the biggest issues I see lately are how every app loads slow. Touches are slow in everything. Some touches take minutes to do the function requested. I know the touches are registering, as I have "show touches" on. Nav bar touches are the worst.
I thought about doing a full wipe, everything. Before I do that I want to backup everything, including the internal. When I connected it to my PC tonight, drivers took a minute to find and install, but the PC now sees the device. When I try to copy out the internal to my PC, it takes 30+ minutes to "calculate" the file size, then it only copies out one or two folders before a failure. Tried 3 different PCs, on more than 4 build+kernel configurations.
Is this thing on its last leg?
