[Q] [HELP] Flashing official lollipop over leaked one (used pit) topic

Hello everyone.
First of all i apologise if this has been asked before but i got confused reading through hundreds of replies and needed a clearer answer.
So here's my situation :
I flashed android 5.0.1 chinese leak as soon as it got out. I followed the tutorial wich contained all 5 files and used all of them to flash ( frankly not knowing their function ).
Now i want to flash the official firmware but dont know what steps to take not to soft brick my phone and get unknown baseband & imei. Any help and advice is welcome.



P.S.: also can smb tell me wich firmware to use to flash?

I have bought a brand new Samsung S5 SM-G900F on Saturday but when i opened it i saw a little damage on the plastic/aluminium ring. The e-shop which i got it said that they won't replace it because i have used it but the only thing i did was to insert the SIM and checked if it is operational.

Additionally, when i booted the device and put in my information (gmail, etc) i saw that the Android version was Android 5.0. Shouldn't my phone had Android 4.4.2? This is a brand new phone.
Is there any option in the phone which can identify when Android 5.0 was installed?

Has anyone used xposed framwork with the DN3 rom? I want to try but before installing the framwork it says be careful as you can soft brick the device. Will this happen?

I keep noticing my phone slowing to a halt, and it strikes me as if it might be memory related, no matter what I have running I always have 1GB of memory free.
It's as if it doesn't want to use all available memory, but that's a detrimental waste.
Is there a build prop string that I can look into?

Barely Used My Verizon Moto X 2014 Gonna Get Rid of It topic

As soon as the Nexus 6 is released on Verizon I am getting it and selling the Moto X 2014. The N6 is too big for me to be my daily driver but I will have to learn to deal with the size because I can root the N6.

I really like the Moto X 2014 but no root really sucks. I am sorry I bought it. Nice leather back, perfect size, great Moto features like active display, assist, etc.

I'm so bummed. But I can't be happy if I can't root and do with my phone what I want. Everytime I look at it I just feel sadness instead of the excitement I felt with my OG Moto X 2013.

The resale value really sucks too. Who would want an Android you can't root? Even iPhones have jailbreak!!!! Gah, I would be better off with a Verizon iPhone 6 than a Verizon Moto X 2014. Unbelievable.

I know, it didn't have root before I bought it, I knew. But I had hope that either a code would be available for sale or a dev would get lucky and find an exploit. I really wanted this to be my phone. Oh well, someone else who doesn't care about root will get a good deal.

I've learned my lesson - I will never buy a phone unless root is available BEFORE I buy it. I think if the N6 is just too big, I will get the M9 if it gets root.

[Q] Can the N910t be used with a different carrier right out the box? topic

Hi everyone,

Im thinking of getting the T-mobile Note 4 because its the most "usable" model since its bootloader is unlocked, it has different roms to choose from and can be used with LTE globally. I know there is an international model (N910f) but it seems it has trouble with LTE in the US.

So the question is, can I use the N910t (T-mobile) with another carrier right out of the box, if unlocked? Meaning the phone never touches a T-mobile sim card.
