[Q] Galaxy s5 missing features topic

Hi. I received a Samsung Galaxy S5 as a gift about a month ago, but it's missing so many features I have no idea why.

My friend has exactly the same model, yet he has so many more options. For example,

• I cannot edit the options for Power Saving mode

• There is NO S voice on my apps page

• The Sound Recorder looks just like the one from S4 and not S5, it also has NO options either, to configure it

• Cannot change several options on the Camera, such as setting the brightness. The option is there, but it's greyed out, I cannot select it

• I cannot update the android version. My current version is 4.4.2 and I cannot update it. As I access the 'System Updates', it does say 'Checking for update', but after a while it just says 'Network connection failed' no matter what. The signal for internet is the strongest, as well.

• If I press and hold on the Home Screen, the whole options are not coming up either, such as seeing the current running applications. It just says 'Set wallpaper for', 'Apps and widgets' and 'Folder'.

What's wrong with it? Any way I can at least get the S voice?

[Q] New ROM on KitKat FOR G3 with all features - Need Help All Devs - Candy/Skin1980 topic

Hello everyone,
after several months on my LG G3 d855, I realize that LG G2 removed several functions (camera, weather animation, more cmplete remote ...) and several of the G3 on KitKat (invited session, themes and framework for LG Xcam)
I feel that despite the efforts of all developers on XDA (skin1980, crash, kickoff, candy and many others ...) to reinstate certain features and improvements, it will not be possible to return ALL of Lollipop .
Would not it be possible to make or update a rom with all the advanced KITKAT known to date so that the G3 is perfect for all uses?

Thank you ALL for the work done to date but red card to LG, which since the G2, only delete the extras that we made the success of these phones ..

[Q] How to have note4 features on my s3 4.3? topic

Hi all, i'm using a different ver of s3 SHW-M440S. I've thought of have note4 UI and features on it but it seem to be impossible when i found out that note4 roms for s3 don't support my phone, it only supports gt-i9300 and people said that trying to install may brick my phone. Next i trying to have note 4 app but it only for 4.4 :( yesterday i install note 3 secphone.apk by replacing the original one in sys/app but i found that there wasn't any secphone.apk but secphone_KOR.apk. i backup it, paste secphone.apk and renamed it into the same as ori one, set permission and reboot. When it turned on again, i call a friend and it said ... has stopped. i backup it and it worked so i could have note3 call features  All thing i can do now is root it. Does anyone know how to have note4 features on my s3 4.3???
Thank a lot

[Q] Could you tell me if CM12 is equal to CM11 in features, stability, battery, etc? topic

I was keeping on Android 4.4.4 because of xposed. Now that xposed in on alpha for L it is time to switch.

Could you tell me if CM12 is equal to CM11 in features, stability, battery, etc?
Are there call issues? Are they solved? When were they solved? and how?

Which Kernel is suggested?
I was very pleased about AK.500 or the whole AK kernel series.

Note 4 new/unlocked features? topic

Long story short, my friend has a Note 4 with T-Mobile running Hyperdrive rom by Sbreen94. He has the ability to swap through menus, pages, photos in gallery, and etc, using his home button/fingerprint scanner. Wth how can I get that feature, is that rom dependent? I've tested it on his phone, and it works like magic.
