Launcher request topic

Hey everyone. I want to know if anyone could share the nexus 6 launcher with me. See, My device, the note 4 has the same resolution as the N6 but when I use the Google Now Launcher on play store, the icons are way too big and I noticied in the shots that nexus 6's home screen layout is 5*4 i think but my google now launcher is 4*5, meaning I only get 4 icons in a row but on nexus 6 u get 5. So any ideas how I can change that???

[Q] How to change icons on a custom rom and stock launcher topic

I have Nexus 5 Lollipop 5.0.1 with a custom ROM - Cataclysm,obviously rooted. Is there any way I can change icons in the ui? (home screen and app drawer ) without any custom launcher? The best was Unicon module for Xposed but now on Android 5 I am desperate. It seems that Cataclysm will support PRO themes later, but as I've understood it doesn't change the icons.

Home button lags in Nova Launcher topic

Tired of installing the launchers just for changing the ICONS, which eat your memory ?

Presenting you the Unicon APP 4+, which needs Xposed. You can also install ICON pack from different themes on your stock launcher. I know its a old one and I'm not the developer of this MOD. I'm just sharing it.


Install the Xposed
Install the Unicon app
Activate, reboot and change the icons(you need to restart the launcher)

Ok so the when I used to be an iphone user i was jailbroken and had the NextGen UI dreamboard theme, once i swapped to android i have been looking for a launcher with the same capabilities yet I have yet to find one, can anyone help me out?

Launcher Question topic

Hey Gang! So I just flashed AOSP Lollipop (LiquidSmooth) and love it.

Wondering if there's any launcher that has the big icon look of the Google Now launcher WITHOUT Google Now on the left of the home screen. Is there a way to turn that off on the stock launcher?

It becomes such a battery hog if I'm constantly checking it without even realizing.

[Q] Google Now Launcher text is blurred topic

I'm not sure if this is happening on other devices. My Moto X (2013) running 4.4.2 (I am on Republic Wireless) started doing something funny about a week ago. Randomly, I'll unlock my screen to see that any and all text within Google Now Launcher is blurred out. The only way I've been able to fix it is by resetting the device. Clearing cache doesn't work for me. I suppose I could try uninstalling and reinstalling, but I'm not sure if that would really fix an underlying problem if there is one. Does anyone have any ideas?

Apus launcher topic

Hi everyone. So there's this new launcher out there called Apus launcher in the play store I've been using. Can't quite remember how I stumbled upon it but the reviews were great for it so I gave it a try and I gotta say I love it. I was using Nova for the longest time but this new one is really nice. Very fast and makes everything seem to be much more responsive. Also it groups all of your apps for you in categorized folders by what it thinks should be grouped and does a pretty good job of it. I've been using it for a few days and figured it was worth a mention because I liked it so much. Anyway if you try it out I hope you like it as much as I do.

D2L with Apex Launcher + Greenify topic

I saw that there was a thread for double-tap to lock with Nova Launcher, but as I use Apex Launcher Pro I played around a bit to find something similar. And I succeeded. :)

Here is how you can get this feature back:

- go into Apex settings
- choose "Behavior setting"
- look up "Desktop double tap" under gestures
- choose "Launch shortcut"
- choose "Hibernate and lock screen"

That's it. I hope I can help with this. :)

[Q] apps, launcher always restarting, slow. any fix? topic

running 5.0.1. Google Now launcher seems to restart all the time, as well as many other apps, and it is running very slowly. I've heard maybe there is a memory leak? Any fix for this?
