[Q] Wireless woes topic

I have always had wireless problems on the Nook Color, and this is one of the most frustrating of all.

Scanning for networks (in settings) is not finding any networks (just keeps scanning forever), BUT I am getting notifications about wireless networks becoming available, and the networks are showing up just fine on apps such as Wifi Analyzer.

I have deleted all of the saved networks (someone told me that was supposed to help, but it didn't). I assume i just need to reset something somewhere, but I have no idea what). I guess there is always the big reset (complete reinstall), but I would rather avoid that if possible.

Any ideas?

[Q] Replacement device USB woes topic

Received a replacement device yesterday that is NG2. No big deal as I CF-Rooted it, then placed TWRP on it. Did a backup of initial state and went to transfer a rom to SD card and realized the phone would not connect to PC as a

device. Now I have 2 other S4's in the house and they connect immediately so it is not a driver issue with the computer(Win8.1), or USB cable. The 2 other S4's immediately are recognized by the computer.... I have found that this one is

recognized only while in Download mode, but when booted, nothing. I reinstalled the backup I first created and did a wipe 3x and I was able to get it to go into USB mode only 1x. The USB icon appeared in the upper left of the screen

and Kies recognized the device for the first time. After that I thought I was good so I went to the CF-Root installed Superuser app and opened it. It prompted about knox so I ran it for knox disable. Bam, no more USB. What is going on

here? I have rooted and worked with 5 or 6 different S4's with no issues. This is my first at NG2, and I want to point out that it is not activated yet as well. Does not completing the activation trigger something? I am just trying to figure

out if I should just return and swap for another. I have tried to reflash back to stock and wipe and it no longer offers the USB connection I was able to achieve at the 1 point. This is an odd one and again, it is NOT drivers or the USB

cable.....

built-in Microphone not working, water woes topic

Dropped my phone in water.
thought everything was ok till I made a phone call and now the microphone doesn't work.

Any Ideas?

Lollipop woes topic

So i recently updated to lollipop and its been pretty much a nightmare since. I've managed to solve most of my problems but two still remain.
1. I can play more than one song, once i try and skip to the next one it doesn't play and eventually the whole rom crashes. This has happened on several roms.
2. If my heaphones come unplugged while playing music i have to completely unplug them before i can get music to restart. There seems to be a detection issue of some sort.

im thinking there maybe a problem with cyanogen recovery but was hoping someone could chime in.
