[Q] unlocking help please topic

Hi, I have been trying to get my s4 i9505 networked unlock. It's currently on EE. I bought it from someone who has gone abroad so can't ask them to get ee to do it. I have tried 3 online unlocking sites, the last was recommended on here but non of them can do it. I have tried to install several firmwares but hoping that would remove the ee lock But they all seem to be ee firmware. Is there a firmware that you can tell me about which will do what I want. Or is there a way I can conect to my computer and do a hardware unlock. Hope someone can help as getting desperate now.

A friend of mine has a insurance supplied s4 i9505 Which is unlocked. Is there a way we can copy the firmware on his and install on my or completely clone the phone . ?

[Q] bootloader c3? unlocking topic

Hi wanted to ask the option to Sony Xperia c also includes c3 can not understand what I mean because I'm from chile and I am using a translator.
Is that I have a cell that model but does not appear in the list but enter code to see if it could in and out I was 5 attempts , I'd really like to release but not to do because I find nothing and the only options are in Sony , I hope you can help me , thanks in advance .:eek:

[Q] Bug? OPO started unlocking itself on boot topic

Hello,

As of yesterday, my OnePlus One seems to be unlocking itself at bootup. It makes the "knack-knock" un-lock sound (high->low) just after the bootlogo screen, and fails to show the lock screen when it is first turned on.

After it has booted, it goes straight to the home screen, and I can use the phone as if it weren't locked: It is now in some kind of bugged state where the screen lock doesn't work - the screen will stay on until it runs out of batteries, and if I press the power button then the screen turns off but doesn't lock.
The first time I press the HOME button however, then the phone immediately LOCKS (albeit without playing a sound) and displays the usual PIN-entry screen. I can then enter my 8-digit PIN as normal and it will unlock ("knack-knock") . It is now out of the bugged state and will lock properly ("knock-knock") after it has been asleep for however many seconds I have configured it to lock. It is now perfectly normal until next time it reboots.

If I DON'T enter a PIN on that first lock-screen then it stays in the bugged state: After a few seconds of displaying the lock screen, the screen turns off, it plays the unlock "knack-knock" again, and when I press the power button we are back to the same state as first boot - my home screen is available, I can read my emails etc, but I have never entered a passcode!

I haven't installed any new apps recently, and I have auto-update apps turned off. I can't seem to stop Google Play from updating, though.
There is an update available: "XNPH05Q Incremental" - I tried taking a backup and installing this, but the screen-unlock problem remained.
Turning off "Use custom lock screen" didn't help either..

The phone IS rooted, but I don't have anything particularly suspicious installed.. A full list of packages on my phone is here:

So my question is: a) Has anyone here seen this before? (google has so far been of no help)
b) Which of the apps/modules I have installed could be causing this? (which should I try uninstalling first?)
or c) how can I find out who/what is causing this? (Is there any way to track calls to com.android.internal.policy.impl.LockScreen, for example?)

Could use some help unlocking my Galaxy Ace S5830.
I was following instructions from this thread.

It's locked to Virgin Media, I don't have my original SIM but I have my mothers which was a Virgin SIM and I put that in and was able to get mobile data and make calls.

The two codes I could find in bml5.img were:
15362914

80460902

Not knowing which was correct, I tried both multiple times.

It says something like "USSD Code running" but then says "Connection problem or invalid MMI code”

I get the same “Connection problem or invalid MMI code” even when I dial *#7465625# to check if the phone is network locked.

So I was trying these, I read that adding , at the end can help, it didn't.

Tried restarting the phone a few times, checking service providers and it shows a list of about 4 but all but the one the SIM is for say (restricted), so it didn't work.

Tried a new SIM in it, still asking for unlock code when phone starts up.

Any ideas?

I went and paid for an 'unlocker app', and all the app did was read the .img file and give me the two damn codes I already found myself and told me to put them in the unlock screen when I turn the phone on, but having already tried that multiple times it didn't work.

Is there any other way I can unlock it now that I have the codes?

Unlocking and Rooting Galaxy Nexus topic

Hi I am a newbie when it comes to unlocking and rooting my phone. I have the Verizon Galaxy nexus and I have tried a lot of methods to get the unlock part done first but the problem I am having is my windows usb continuously makes that on and off noise. Could it be because its Windows and Google and Android don't like each other? My phone has a extended battery from Androidcentral.com and its dieing fast. I think I need a good new rom to make the battery life better I am still on Jellybean. I have tried battery apps but my phone dies really fast. If I can get the windows USB to connect right I would be ok for the unlock part. Please help me with USB help so I can get past that.

Unlocking SIM card slot topic

Does anyone know of any service that can actually unlock the G3 D851 as of now? I searched through the old threads and tried the ones people mentioned but they're all just refunding an saying they don't have a code.

I tried having a friend request an unlock from T-Mobile but they want the SIM card to remain in the device for 3 days.

[Q] Unlocking Bootloader with Sony webpage fastboot issue! topic

Hey! I'm a happy owner of an OEM Sony Xperia Z1 Compact, and I would like to unlock the bootloader to unleash the full power of this little monster.

Since my device is a OEM, I was aware I could do it via the developers page of Sony Xperia (http://developer.sonymobile.com/unlockbootloader/).

Well I did everything according to the guide (I already had a google nexus 7 and an xperia x8, so I know the drill). But when it reach to install the fastboot driver (supplied by the sony mobile developers page), I connect the phone with the up volume button pressed (the led turns blue). Then when I go to the device manager and try to update the s1 fastboot driver I simply says that the file may be corrupted and it doesn't install.

I tried on different usb ports, different computers, different cables, so far nothing worked... Any suggestion???

[Q] Unlocking the Bootloader topic

Apart from making a TA backup is there anything else anything I should do before unlocking the bootloader. So once I have unlocked the bootloader I can get my DRM keys back simply restoring using BACKUP-TA?.

i've tried almost everythuing , but maybe i'm doing something wrong?

i calculated NV value with qualcomm nv calculator and used QXDM proffesional , also added "telephony.lteOnGsmDevice" in build.prop ... but still nothing?

Unlocking topic

Guys, I got this phone from my cuz from UK Amazon. Still locked to O2. Apparently, O2 told my cuz that they won't be able to unlock it except wait for 12 months. It seems ridiculous.

So I would like to ask the experts here. Is rooting the phone can make it unlock like those samsungs or HTCs?
