LS990 Update Issues topic

hello everybody, quick question and i apologize in advance if this has been covered somewhere else or for just being a dumb question in general; I have the LG G3 from sprint and a little over a month ago i had a friend root my phone and convert it back to stock android. In anticipation for android 5.0 I removed the root. for over the past week I have been spamming the update software button and still have no lollipop. one of my good friends told me that by converting back to stock android i probably disabled the over the air updates. I was wondering about how to go about getting the updates, i have seen some posts suggesting to use the lg flash tool but I did not really comprehend how to use it. sorry if this is something stupid still really new to android.

Hello, sorry for my English but I'm Hispanic
Live in Cuba and my brother who lives in united states sent me a g3 lg ls990, before taking the workshop that will unlock the GSM I restored to factory settings, and when you turn displays a screen looking online connection for activation , this screen is no way to get the phone because here we have no connection sprint to do so, I need if anyone knows how you can skip this screen to access the phone and get it unlocked, some trick or something? respond in English no matter I translate

Phone will work just fine otherwise. If flashing a custom rom zip or manually updating through TWRP this will most likely not be needed** --Individual ZV8 partitions to flash manually can be downloaded *HERE* I am not mirroring system.img due to its redundancy... feel free to dump system.img, mirror it somewhere then link me to it and I'll gladly add it to this spot with credit. The ZV8 bootloader blocks Bump... do not flash the bootloader img files if you want to use Bump'd files. If manually updating I'd suggest system.img, boot.img, modem.img, tz.img and rpm.img. --ZV6-to-ZV8 OTA Update Zip will be added when OTA is officially sent out. If someone can grab the FULL filename of the OTA update and send it to me I can provide a direct download link. Don't need the file.. just the file name.
