Hi, i purchase this phone, and when i try to put him on recovery mode (i wanted to checked the version of recovery )... And for my surprise, i couldn't get enter... In the screen appear a message "Custom" with a padlock, after 10 seconds, the phone restars alone... il try to check the download mode, and the same... The "custom" message with the padlock... i hope you can help me, its the stock room, its rooted (i didn't root , came rooted from factory)... il try this metod http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2296014 but don't work...

[Q] Galaxy S-5360 No Download Mode, but Recovery Mode Works topic

I am new to posting, but I have followed XDA for a long time and used it to install custom ROM's on other phones. However, I now have a problem with my wife's Samsung Galaxy GT-S5360L. I have searched for hours, but can not find a solution.

The phone is stuck in a boot loop. I can enter stock recovery mode. When I try to perform a factory reset, I get the following message:

E:format folume: rfs format failed on /dev/stl11
formatting /cache
Data wipe complete

After wiping the cache partition, the phone continues to be stuck in the same boot loop after reboot (Samsung logo appears on screen, followed by animation, back to Samsung logo).

The phone will not enter into download mode. When I press power+volume down+home, I see a white screen, followed by a black sreen, followed by another white screen. the suggested method of removing the battery, SIM, and SD card, and plugging into the computer while holding both volume buttons does not work. Odin will not recognize that the phone is installed.

I tried to connect the phone to two different computers. One runs Linux mint with Windows XP on a VM. This computer has always worked for flashing ROM's to other phones. Odin would not recognize the phone, and I received messages that the device was not properly installed.

I then tried to connect the phone to another computer with Windows Vista. This PC has Kies installed and Samsung drivers. Kies would not connect to the phone, and I also received messages that the device was not properly installed. Odin would not recognize the phone. I should note that the phone has interfaced with this computer sucessfully before.

This phone has never had a custom recovery or ROMs installed. It only has the original stock ROM. Is the phone's hardware defective, or can it somehow be fixed? Please post any links to threads that I may have missed. Thanks.

Hello my fellow XDA Members. I am stuck in a tight spot and after reading and re-reading some things the situation doesn't look very promising. I hope this is the moment that Karma shows up and I can get some help on this. Here it goes.

Specs - LG G2 D801 Variant > TWRP V2.8.3.1 > NO OS Currently

I was running Cloudy G3 Rom smoothly and got bored and decided to flash that new rom that is a 5.0 Rom all variants. Did the usual back ups and flashed it. Something happened when I flashed the rom. It went through the Aroma installer and then said "successful" but stuck in a bootloop. I tried it again and nothing happened. Then I tried to wipe everything again and started getting an E: Cannot mount (data or system I forget which as that error went away after I completely formatted data, wiped everything and reflashed Cloudy Stock. )
> Cloudy stock bootlooped and nothing is happening in TWRP. I Am using the USB OTG method of getting files on the phone and getting it charged but anytime I try to do anything (flash a rom, an older version of TWRP) it just immediately restarts TWRP and thats that. I have No OS at all.

So in a nutshell > No OS > I can get into TWRP but it does nothing > No Download Mode > Don't want a new phone > Don't want to take it apart and try to short circuit anything if possible. LOL. :(

I am totally stuck here. I am done alot of work and even helped friends and family out with their devices over the years. I am just not sure if I need to consider it a done deal and get a new phone or maybe one of you guys know of something easy and obvious (please let it be the latter) I am missing. Hi. Im a new user on XDA. First of all. Sorry for my bad english haha.

Ok lets go. My big problem its my LG G2 D802 32Gb. variant unlocked stays in a infinite bootloop. I can't access on the recovery mode to make wipes, etc. An i cant flash any roms on the download mode. I can acces on the download mode but my laptop Don't recognised my d802. Download mode not boot correctly like the screenshot I attached. I already test to flash firmwares I downloaded like 5 firmwares to test it an can't flash. Already test to flash
Tot firmware with a .DLL but not lucky for me. The problem of that is my device no boot completely the download mode. If anyone understand or have the same problem to comment it or post any solution for this.

[Q] bricked my lg g2 d802,not going into download mode + my screen has white lines topic

hello guys,im new here i need your help..
I bricked my d802 today,i was on stock kitkat rom,what i did was rooted my device with towel root and used Autorec to install recovery,it installed successfully,then i clicked ''go to recovery'' then all i get were white lines on one side of screen and rest of screen is black(cant see anything).. after digging for hours i came to know that it is because of different Kernel version,but now i want to know how can i flash patched Kernel? as my device is bricked.. It is also not going into download mode so i cant also flash a stock rom.. tried Adb but it is not detecting my device... im completely lost :(

[Q] Not able to load anything via Download Mode - ODIN on GT-I9192 Duos topic

I have the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini Duos - GT-I9192 phone.

Last week I was updating the phone via a OTA update and the phone suddenly stopped updating mid-way, restarting the phone got the phone to start but stuck on the initial Samsung logo and not beyond. Eventually after several retries, phone would only vibrate and nothing displayed on the screen. I can not even get into recovery mode.

I am now able to get into Download mode only with the following information displayed
ODIN MODE
Product Name: GT- I9192
Current Binary: Samsung Official
System Status: Official
CSB-CONFIG-LSB: 0x30
BOOTLOADER AP SWREV: 2
Write Protection: Enable

Over the past one week I have tried the following with no success
1) Downloaded the official firmware for my device/region from Sammobile and tried loading via ODIN (3.10 and 3.07), after waiting for an hour (On Initialization status) or so ODIN terminates with a Fail message and a error mentioning " No Partition Detected/ PIT File missing

2) I have tried with a PIT file (attached) but it does not proceed beyond Initialization status on ODIN either

3) Tried the same thing with CWM file and Auto Root files for the GT-I9192 but does not move beyond Initialisation and/ or Setup Connection step in Odin

I have now tried on Multiple computers, with different cables and USB ports, even tried connecting to Kies to see if a firmware can be loaded that way, but no luck.

Would appreciate any suggestions / help on what else I must try or do differently. Please help.

[Q] S2 stuck on warning sign, no download mode[i9100G] topic

Hello, I got an S2 phone from a friend with a problem, it boot-looped showing only the Model and logo(Where it says i9100G), I tried flashing some ICS stock firmware, it stuck on the NAND write line for a while then failed.
I tried entering Recovery mode before, but it didn't work, maybe I didn't try hard enough but I heard on other threads that deal with soft breaking that this might mean a problem with NAND r/w (Don't know much about this problem).

Anyway, after the NAND problem, the phone doesn't work as it used to, it now only shows one screen with a phone and PC icons(See attachment or link), with a warning sigh in the middle, I thought maybe Kies can handle it, but when I connect the phone while running kies it just keep on trying to connect to the phone and I don't think it will stop for a long while, so I can't use the help of the Kies emergency recovery for now.

HELP! Bootloop, restart continuosly, and download mode can't detected on my PC topic

Hi there, i want to ask some help to you. This is very sucks for me, when i need to communicate with my family and my friends, my phone was had a probelm. First probelm is my phone was bootloop, it was booted just until "Samsung Galaxy S III Mini" logo. Second probelm, after that bootloop, my phone was restarted and go back again to boot logo, and then restart again and go back again to boot logo, again and again continuosly until my battery was drain down. And the last probelm, after i found that probelm then i try to flash my phone to newest version firmware, when my phone enter to download mode and try to connected to my PC, it not recognized with my PC, indeed there's no notification that the device is not recognized (normally if you connect the device to PC and not recognized, will show notification "USB Not Recognized"). I try to connect again on Windows 7 (My PC was dual-booted Windows 10 and Windows 7), there's no changed, still not recognize and not showing notification. And then, an hour ago before i posted this post, i try to connect and flashing in my friends PC, but still not recognized. I think there's no probelm with my USB cable, when i use to charging, it still working.

And then i really really really need your solution, PLEASE help me, i dont have much money to repair my phone because i just have IDR 10000 (converted to USD is just ,95) and my guarantee is expired. Soon i will face the National Exam and i dont want lost my focus to that. I hope i can get the best solution quickly. Play Store Download Progress bar issue and Volume rocker button topic

Hi,
I'm facing two issues

1. Everytime when i download from Play Store the progress bar is not showing its download % in notification drawer. Anyone else facing this issue? You can find it in attachment.
2. Sometimes when the Music is playing, if i press volume down or up button, volume gets reduced/ increased but it never displays the volume indicator(dialog).

[Q] Can't Get Into Recovery Or Download Mode topic

So I bought 2 broken Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 from a friend knowing that the screens were cracked and that there were pass codes but I just figured I could replace the screens and then wipe them. Fast forward to today and I got one fixed but it won't go into recovery or download mode. I do the right button sequences for each one and but it just boots up as normal. All the buttons function and I tested them with the device on but no matter what I do it just starts up as normal. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do?

I noticed this right away after install when downloading my video drivers. At first, I blamed my internet, but hopped on one of my servers and my download speed was normal there. What's odd, is speedtest.net is showing normal speeds. I see the issue in both IE and firefox.

HI guys,ive managed to get my lg g2 D802 int edition into download mode,it was previously stuck in fastboot loop,
however,it says BO ROOTED at a screen below the progress bar,assuming i attempt to use the lg flash tool,will it install the stock rom.I have a mac so im to borrow a windows machine tomorrow to test this out,
is there anyone who can walk me through the steps to install the stock rom and what software i need,assuming i get a windows machine

Hi, I don't know a ton about putting roms on phones but I have successfully put roms on four phones and rooted my Razr i just by following guides and hoping for the best so I'm not a complete newbie and have tried researching before posting!

Basically I have managed to root my razr i, unlock the bootloader and am trying to put CWM on the phone. I have the correct CWM file (I think) recovery-razri-tryAtouch and I plug my phone in, go to the folder of platform-tools in the android-sdk folder and run as admin a command window from there.

I check my device is there with adb devices and it is. I can do adb reboot bootloader and it goes into recovery but then when I do 'fastboot flash recovery recovery-razri-tryAtouch.img is says

(bootloader) Variable not supported!

so it sounds like it is failing but still doing something.

Nothing seems to change basically...

I googled and found this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...936512&page=30 but the suggestions confuse me and don't seem to help. I went to the thread they mention http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2017748 and use SU to go to /system and there is no recover-from-boot file so that can't be the issue?

I also downloaded CFC_9.8.2I-50_SMI-29_S7_USASMIJBRTGB.xml from http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2239706 but I actually don't know why or if I've already used it. I'm getting a bit confused. I want CWM to work so I can put Cyanogenmod or whichever rom is best on it.
