[q] how to upgraded android and downgrade android topic

I wanted to hack some apps and games but I got to know that it should have android till kitkat and I am having 5.0.2 lollipop so when I degrade my lollipop version moto g to KitKat 4.4.4 . After that can I upgrade my phone to lollipop by going to settings>about phone>systems update(will there be upgrade available?)

I have add new LTE band to My G900F while i am running rooted android 4.4.2.
If i upgraded to Android 5 will the changes that i made in the LTE value be removed, or is it stored in other places in the phone away from the flash part?
