Help me Identify my phone (Fake Note 2) topic

Hi, I posted this in another forum and was recommended to post here. A couple of years ago, I bought a Note 2 from craigslist then later found it was a fake. It was the same size, and model #, but quickly started finding fake stuff. Stylus was fake. Screen size was off, cell signal stopped working, etc. It's running android 4.1.1. (baseband version MAUI.11AMD.W12.22.SP.V7.P3,2012/12/27 11:22). AnTuTu Benchmark was preinstalled with fake specs. So, I can't trust any specs I see in Settings, my guess it's some Chinese phone disguised as Note 2.

So, How can I identify the exact specs of the phone in hope that I can install a new ROM or cyanogenmod on it.

"fake" keys topic

I recently realised that by long pressing the main button on most modern headphones activated OK google. This even works when the screen is off. I want to fool the system by long pressing the camera key instead. But preferably only when the screen is off as I do use the camera quite often. Thanks in advance.

[Q] How can I get google play working on my fake Mi 4 topic

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a Mi 4 with a antutu rating of 33k in a hurry only to find out that it was a fake Mi 4 :(
Now I am stuck with this phone as I do not have money to buy it and no one seems to want to buy this from me when I specify that it is not an original..

So I thought maybe you guys could help me make the most of my ****ty situation and help me get this phone running at a better level by rooting or some other method. I would say I am an average male phone user and would really appreciate your help in this matter.

Phone stats aside...
The phone feels sluggish not what I would expect an octa core phone to be like.
The rear cam feels like its around 5mp and not 13.
Front cam might be around 2mp but definitely not 5mp
Phone is not rooted.
Came with a chinese market (not mi market) and a browser named "Baidu Browser"

So far I have tried to install google play using the google play apk and also by using the google installer but each time it does not let me sign into google with my gmail account saying that there was a connection problem and the google play services crashes around the same time... sigh. somehow google play seems to work when going through a browser. but it is very slow and a bit of a process.

I dont really know what else I could post that is useful but please let me know and I will share it ASAP.

I hope you guys can help me or I would have completely wasted around USD 120.
(i know it might not seem much to some of you but its a big amount in my country)
