I throw everything under the sun at it. I been working on getting the Verizon Note Edge rooted. I tryed every root tool out there. Even every CF autoroot. Verizon has this phone locked to the tee. Hope someone comes up with something soon. I even tryed ADB codes. Its a no go. So if you planing to buying the note edge with verizon and want root. You might be better off with sprint or t-mobile. Towelroot will not work with this phone. I even ripped that app apart to hack into it. To see what geohot did. That was no good also. Intil we get some really good dev's on this. This edge on verizon will never be rooted. Hopes this helps who ever plans on buying one.. :confused::confused::confused:

[Q] Reset to Factory Erased Everything, How to Recover Files on Internal Storage topic

Guys, I do apologize if I created this thread on an inappropriate way. I'm desperate. I Updated my HTC One to Android 5.0.2 through OTA. As it's recommended, I did a Factory Data Reset. NOW EVERYTHING IS LOST, MY PHOTOS,MY CONTACTS AND SMS BACKUPS, EVERYTHING. I did Factory Data Reset Before, But It Never Erased those files. I Don't know whether its because of Android 5 or not. BUT PLEASE, IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME TO RESTORE THOSE DELETED FILES, I'd be MOST GRATEFUL. I DO APPRECIATE YOUR HELP. MY PHONE IS NOT ROOTED and it's Completely STOCK. I Tried Several Recovery Apps, However as HTC one only has Internal Storage, the File System is not known, therefore, None of them Detected it.
ONCE AGAIN, THANKS IN ADVANCE TO THOSE WHO CAN HELP ME WITH THIS, IT'S TRUELY VERY VERY IMPORTANT FOR ME TO RETRIEVE THOSE LOST DATA. THANKS GUYS ...

[Q] Everything puts phone into bootloop topic

Hey all,

I had a thread a while ago regarding how to get out of bootloop, now I seem to have a different issue so I wanted to make a new thread to refine the details of the problem.

These are the current settings, the only ones that work, but the rom has to be kept in airplane mode to avoid errors displaying

Phone = Huawei Honor 6 16GB (H60-L02) FDD-LTE
Bootloader = Unlocked
Recovery = CWM 6.0.5.1 exFAT
Rom = MIUI v4.9.6 (miui_hw60_slydermi_4.9.6_6c22a194a4_4.4.zip) Downloaded from the official miui website


I have tried to use the honor6 multi tool to flash different recoveries (official/stock) and none work except the above CWM version.
I have also tried to flash different roms, mainly from needrom.com and what i could download from this chinese forum

Note i have also been following tutorials in this thread
in an attempt to get back the stock rom, mainly the two sections
3 Button Restore not working and full restore method

I am unsure what step to take next, everything puts my phone into a bootloop, i would happily go back to stock recovery/rom but again they cause bootloops too

my last guess is it might have something to do with Build & Local Prop files? im not entirely sure what they are or how to use them.

Accidentally wiped *everything* - now stuck on samsung screen with lock topic

I have been using a custom rom via safestrap for a long time with no problem. Recently, I went to upgrade my rom and in safe strap, I foolishly did not back up. I did a factory wipe, but then I went into advanced wipe where I would normally check dalvik cache and a couple others, but this time I inadvertently checked ALL the boxes, including microsd card. So, I deleted EVERYTHING.

I took my external sd card out and put it in the computer, then copied my rom .zip file over to it. When I rebooted the phone though, I just get to the SAMSUNG screen with the little padlock on it and the word "custom" underneath. I can't seem to access safestrap to flash the rom over again.

What are my options?

LOST DISPLAY of phone. How to copy everything to a new phone? Please help!! topic

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Recently I dropped it and the phone lost it's display. The repairing charges are expensive. So I have decided to buy a new phone. In order to copy all the stuff from the old phone, I need an active display which I don't have. Of course I can copy files like images, e books, music and videos via a PC connection, but please tell me how to copy following things:
1) WhatsApp chats
2) Hike Chats
3) Contacts
4) Apps
5) Game progress

[Q] HTC One X. No Mass Storage. Tried Everything. topic

I know looking at the form this question has been asked but I have tried all of it.*

I have a HTC one X (PJ83120 - Telstra) and I have tried everything to get usb mass storage working on Windows 7. I have reset to factory settings, updates Android to 4.2.2(Highest I can go atm), installed new drivers and sync software, used different pc's and cables and tried with usb debugging on and off.*

The phone informs me it's connected via usb and will also change but windows always reports "USB device not recognize device" even with new drives.*

Any tips and help would be good thanks in advance.*

First of all .. I would like to thank Wanam for his wonderful rom.. :)

Regd the flashing:

1. I took a nandroid backup of Wanam 1.6 with twrp 2.8.5.0
2. Copied Wanam 2.0 on Sdcard
3. Reboot into recovery, wiped dalvik cache and cache
4. Installed Wanam 2.0 (dirty flash over Wanam 1.6), reboot
5. OS upgraded to Lollipop, without losing my previous data, everything is working fine without FCs
6. Went to Download Mode, flashed bootloader+modem by Wanam with Odin 3.07, reboot
7. Thats it!! :)

Wiped Everything incl. internal disk - not booting topic

Hi folks,

I wanted to do a clean installation and wiped everything in recovery mode - incl. the internal disk.

The phone is not booting anymore. It gets stuck with the LG logo when I turn it off. I am still able to get to download mode and recovery mode.

Is there any way to rescue my phone?
