Google Now voice commands lockscreen issues topic

Is anybody else having problems with doing voice commands on the lockscreen since the last Google app update? It'll register the voice command, but won't start the activity until I actually unlock my phone. For example, if I ask it to play a song, it'll register it, but nothing happens until I unlock my phone. It will briefly have a white screen that says "Google App" at the top, and then it'll jump to the music app to play my song. It also does this when using voice commands with the screen off and charging.

I'm on Cloudy 1.2, and was having the same problem on Darkwulf Beta. Both Kit Kat ROMs.

Lockscreen Problem topic

I have set my lockscreen time to 1 minute, but even if i leave my phone open (more than 1 minute) in home screen it does not lock itself.
Even in charging, after the notification (100% Battery Fully Charged) it stays there. I usually charge my s4 when im about to sleep.
and when I woke up, my S4's temperature is high. Facebook notification does it also.

Transparent lockscreen topic

Hello guys !!

I have changed the lockscreen to a tottaly black wallpaper and once i lock the screen and open it again it changed to fully transparent lockscreen which is pretty awesome and i like it !!
If any body knows how to do this would be great to share it with others!!

[Q] Any way add full Pandora controls to a lockscreen widget? topic

I am currently using WidgetLocker in combination with Zooper Pro on my OnePlus One on Android 4.4 and I really want a more customized Pandora widget than the default one from Pandora. Has anyone developed a good way to do this? The most important things I want are the thumbs up/down buttons... It would also be awesome if it would autohide and not show anything if Pandora isn't playing. I really only run my music through Pandora so I'm not worried about any other kind of integration.

Verizon Galaxy S4 Kids Mode lockscreen backup PIN issue topic

This is mostly an informative post, as I have spent a few hours on the phone with Verizon and Samsung tech support regarding this issue.

This issue affects the Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4 on Android 4.4.2 and Baseband version I545VRUFNK1.

First, some info. When setting a pattern lock to this phone, it will ask to enter a backup PIN in case the pattern is forgotten. Additionally, this phone has a Kids Mode widget pre-installed by Samsung to download the actual app. Once the app is installed and setup, it will allow a child to play with the phone on any app you designate, keeping them from messing around with settings and etc. This app also requires a PIN to keep kids from exiting Kids Mode or altering it's settings.

The issue with the above mentioned info is this: if Kids Mode is active and the phone goes to sleep, and the lockscreen pattern is entered incorrectly to the point that it will ask you to enter the backup PIN, the backup PIN you created WILL NOT WORK. An error message will appear stating "you have attempted to unlock the phone unsuccessfully X times, you have X times left before a factory restore is performed." Once the last attempt has been reached the error message states this feature can be turned off by going to Settings > Lock Screen > Auto Factory Reset. The additional issue here is that this menu setting does not exist. After ten failed attempts to enter the correct PIN the phone will erase the SD card and perform a factory restore.

This issue ONLY occurs when Kids Mode is installed, is active, and when there is a pattern and backup PIN set for the lockscreen. I was able to reproduce this issue six times with Verizon tech support over the phone.

Verizon did send a replacement but unfortunately this issue occurred with the replacement as they were on identical Android and Baseband versions. Verizon got me in touch with Samsung tech support and they are going to repair the phone for me. My assumption is that they will reflash with a previous version of Android, or newer. Won't know until the phone returns.

Lockscreen fingerprint disabling "enter backup password" notification topic

Hello guys

I really love my note but I use my fingerprint to unlock my phone and what really annoys me is that I have to read every time "enter backup password". is it possible to disable or to customize this notification?

i bought yesterday and used htc one m7 from sprint, i wanna used with gsm, cause im from another country, so a installed a rom(viper one) and when it gets to the lockscreen it shows de htc logo and nothing more, and then a coule minutes later it reboots. ill ad a photo. at first i tought i got bootloop bt i can unlock the phone and it shows the htc logo like it was starting the phone,

also im s-on but i dont know if that says something.

Lollipop notifications appearing on my lockscreen! topic

Hi all
I use AC locker and something I have noticed is when I unlock ac it flashes my Sony stock lockscreen with lollipop style notifications and then brings up my normal stock password screen, it's doesn't happen every time and I have no idea how to replicate it.... Has anyone else noticed this?

Hello,

I'm not on an LG G3, but I really envy its latest lockscreen (the 5.0 Lollipop one, I mean), since you can have notifications and lockscreen in the same screen , without having to swipe notifications and then unlock the screen (with code, glyph or whatever).
Is there a way to extract the LG G3 lockscreen and use it on a Samsung GSII?
Can anyone provide a link/dump?

Can someone suggest me a simple lockscreen app? topic

I have a Galaxy Note 3 and I have some problem where the lockscreen clock remains at some earlier period of time yet the system time changes! This had lead me to serious problems, as when I press the phone's home screen button to just see the time when I am sleepy I see some time which is actually not the updated time, which is extremely annoying. So I am looking for a third party app which could sort this problem out. I have tried a few third party lock screen apps as well, but didn't like any of them, Dodol, DIY etc., didn't like them, they set the wallpaper zoomed in and the wallpaper thus looks pretty bad! Is there a simple lock screen app where I can just set the time anywhere but in the middle of the screen and it will have custom wallpaper support (which will set the wallpaper properly, not zoomed in or anything)? That's all I need.
