M8 with Skydragon no incoming calls topic

I recently unlocked my M8 and flashed the most recent build of Skydragon and updated the kernel to 3.4.0 Skydragon 3.1.5 and just realized today I cannot take any incoming calls when on LTW. Outgoing calls seem to work fine on LTE though. Any ideas? I tried to search around the forums but didn't see anything specific to this ROM. I am using AT&T service and Skydragon build is LRX22C.H5

Well, Hello.
Yesterday, I decided to re-get myself into rom flashing, as I was sick about oneplus usual delays about lollipop.
After I flashed cleanly first blisspop, and then switched to paranoid, I was not surprised about battery drain so I decided to comet-back stock by flashing the backup I've already made before all of this.
Now I have really enough about custom roms and bad battery-life, on this part imho stock has been better for me than whatever.

Globally no problems, but one annoying : call/dialer on the cm stock app.
The app/contacts works great, it is just that when I have finished to type the number and press the call icon, then black screen, the hardware buttons are active but when pressing back or whatever it doesn't respond..
Calls are working because I hear the voice but so can't stop it.

I was blocked on this screen, so recovery and reboot each time, pretty annoying.
Here would you think that a flashable zip file of the stock app would end the problem ?
Does I have to wait for the next ota to resolve this, or do I have to re-flash the 05Q ?

I tried first some alternative call app, like exdialer etc but it does nothing..
Ideas ?
I think this is solvable..
+ When editing the local user profile (top-left corner status bar) it is not working properly, the picture doesn't want to change as editing accounts etc..

I think that I will have to do again a clean stock-rom flash process,

Has anyone else had problems answering or rejecting phone calls from the notification window that pops down?

Cannot pick up calls on Lollipop with pop up notification. topic

So I am using Moto X 2014 with came with Lollipop itself. Didn't update it to it.


So anyways, when I get a call while in some app I get the call notification at the top and two buttons, answer and dismiss.

However, when I tap those two buttons nothing happens, I am unable to receive or dismiss that call.
Only way to do it is to swipe the notification to dismiss it, pull down the status bar and then pick it up.


Does anyone have any solution for this?

[Q] Incoming Calls with International Code Prefix after 4.4.4 update... +1 topic

Do any of you notice, all the incoming calls on S5 is showing up with +1 as prefix.
I checked my Call History and before update i don't see the +1 prefix while all received calls after update is showing +1

Is it Just me?
Is there a setting to not show +1 code?

IMEI null, can't make any calls topic

So, when I type *#06#, the only thing that I get is IMEI null and I can't make any calls. Tried many times to switch the operating system from 4.2/4.3 to 5.0 but doesn't work, please, don't ask questions about it, because the phone isn't mine, that means I don't have acces to it whenever I want, so please, any solutions ? :)

When I make or receive a call my screen goes blank. Just a little annoying. I think I saw somewhere that it's a sensor issue, but can not find that post and I've gone through the setting and can not find anything about sensors in settings.

Hi.

As title says Incoming phone calls not associated with contacts.

What ive tried:

* restore to previous date via google contacts on the web - unsuccessful
* restore to previous twrp backup - this works but as soon as i sync with google it brakes
* again restore to previous twrp backup but before i sync i export my contacts and delete all contacts via the web to import then sync. - this was ok but as soon as i sync with google it brakes again.

im out of ideas, anyone who has a better one to solve this? :(

My guess for when this started is after running Contacs Sync Fix https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...sSyncFix&hl=en - which was supposed to fix contact sync errors. I did have a backup of my contact data but as soon as i setup a google account and it syncs it brakes. In retrospect instead of running this app i should have just removed the account then readded it. You live and you learn.....

Can't make calls / ending immediately topic

I try to make calls they end right away. I tried changing network mode from global to cdma/lte but it did not help.

Calls show as "Canceled" in call log.

Any suggestions?

Note: I have not rooted or anything on 4.4.4

Update: rebooting seems to have resolved issue - hope it does not come back

(also posted in MotoX forum but it's a general question for any android phone expert - it seems like a software problem but i think it's hardware or too low-level that new rom unlikely to solve - any suggestions are welcome, please :)

Got a new 1st gen Moto X from Hong Kong via eBay, it's an XT1058 - US AT&T unlocked and I'm using it in the UK on Three network.
The front mic works 100% fine for skype, just not for normal calls - sometimes works after clearing the cache partition, sometimes not - mostly have about 10% volume and keeps dropping/cutting out.

Trying to work out whether it's definitely just software problem that could be fixed by rooting and replacing the system version which is latest 4.4.4 provided by AT&T or if it's likely hardware and I'm better off exchanging phone?
Could it be incompatibility between stock AT&T apps and UK-THREE network?
Anyone got evidence of sellers retailing faulty batches cheaply? It was damn cheap.
I thought after a few cache cleans, reboots, switch between ART and dalvik it was ok but after installing some apps problem reappeared.
After factory reset... problem still there... after wiping cache partition... it's good for a minute then same problem... but skype works fine!
Any suggestions of next troubleshooting steps? Worth trying a different network SIM or waste of time?
If someone could suggest how such a problem might be hardware or software-related I'd really appreciate it.

I've got a rooted unlocked s-off AT&T M8. I took the 4.4.4 update, then promptly moved to ARHD 34.0. Didn't realize it at first, but I am no longer able to receive calls while on LTE. (works fine for data, and outgoing calls)
If I force it down to 3g, I'm fine. I also noticed that outgoing calls automatically kick it down to 3g- then learned that LTE calls are not an option yet for AT&T. What I'm trying to figure out is, how was I able to have my stock rom on AT&T in LTE mode and still receive a call?
I've checked all the APN settings and it all is set to recommended parameters on AT&T's website. Is this an Android Revolution HD issue? SIM issue? AT&T issue?
I'm going to have to back out of ARHD if there is no solution here, and that would suck.

[Q] Moto X wont make ou receive calls, neither sms topic

I have the international GSM Moto x XT1053.
My phone dont make calls, receive, send or receive sms. 3g or 4g works fine!

I´ve tried:
factory reset
wipe cache
wipe apps cache
Another SIM (My sim on other phones works fine)
Safe Mode
Turn off Radio
Change Network Operator (works calls, sms, for some 5 days only)
nothing works...

Please, can anyone help me?
