Bootloop after freezing "Google" using Titanium Backup. topic

So my nexus 5 is now boot looping after freezing some unwanted apps including system "Google". I though I could disable this to remove that annoying 'ok google' tab. How wrong I was and now my important data/information and app are now unobtainable. Is there a way I can maybe get my data back using fastboot mode or maybe re-install the original google apk or something? I only have a backup of my phone but it is 5 months old :/ and i still want my latest data.

Ingredients of a Hacked Phone

There's nothing really special what are the needed hacks/modifications
in order to have a really cool hacked Android device/phone but here it is:
  • Custom recovery to flash the needed components/hacks for your phone.

  • Needs to be rooted to take full control of your Android device.

  • Nice customizable custom ROM flashed into your device instead of a bloated boring stock one.

Disclaimer/Precautionary Measures

Disclaimer:
I, the author of this thread does take full responsibility of your phone's damages and modifying that is important to the phone (eg. rooting) will tamper your phone's warranty which means you will blame yourself for what you've done on your device because of the beyond coverages that the warranty will not take advantage of. Plus, take the risk of it if you are willing to modify your device.

Precautionary Measures:
Before making a modifications to your device, make sure to do following:
  • Backup first your files especially the internal storage to ensure that the files are safe.

  • Check first your device if there are no problems

That's all!

Titanium backup issue with Lollipop topic

Hi,

I have upgraded my note 4 to Lollipop stock rom and have rooted it.
Titanium backup Pro doesn't work when the destination backup directory is on the
external card. It says : «the folder is not writable» although I can manually copy files to my external Card and to the the Titanium Backup folder using a file manager like Total Commander.

I had before the same issue with Kitkat and have applied the SD card fix permission. But this application doesn't work with Lollipop.

Any help please.

Thank you,

Daniel

Can I Freeze a Process with Titanium? topic

Hi All - I have been experiencing very bad battery drain issues after getting a new headset (Plantronics Edge).

After researching it I see its partly due to wakelocks caused by a process called StartingObexPbapTransaction - which is the phonebook sharing service that allows the headset to perform a caller ID function. Apparently its a known issue with certain headsets and KitKat.

I would like to disable this service - although I dont want to disable bluetooth for my headset.

I cant figure out what to freeze using Titanium. I see Bluetooth share 4.2.2 which I assume I need? Is there a way to find just this process and freeze it?

Thanks.
