Has anyone else had the problem of trying to set up Google Now cards and getting the "network error" message? This is happening on cm11 and Wulf ROM. I've tried uninstalling updates to the Google app, signing out and then back in to the Google app. Nothing seems to be working. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

LG G3 Cannot connect to network after KDZ Flash topic
Hi,
After using the KDZ method, my LG G3 cannot connect to the network. I get the "service disabled", "no Service" and sometimes it connects to the operator for some seconds. It is important to say that before the flash, the phone was working fine, and connected normally to the network.
Troubleshoot already done:
1 - Firstly, I flashed using the D85520B_00.Kdz file.
2 - When I realized that the error, I thought this might be a version problem, so I downloaded D85510e_00.kdz version and re-flashed downgrading to 4.4.2. However problem remained.
As a comment, I also noticed that it changed from version D855 to D855V.
What should I do?

[Q] Help registering with a network! topic
I hope I'm posting in the correct section...
I purchased a SHV-E210K from South Korea, off of ebay, that has already been unlocked and installed with android version 4.4.4 . I bought it with the intent of using it with my Straight Talk service (I currently have a SIM BYOP system I'm using).
Right off the bat the phone works great (as in no freezing up, unexpected oddities, etc), except with the SIM card in it, it simply says "Failed to register with network", and I can't access anything - no calls, no data service, nada. I was under the impression it would just work with me popping in the SIM card, but guess I didn't do my research sufficiently...
Can anyone tell me what I need to change/do in order to get this working correctly here in the USA?
Thanks!

Samsung Galaxy S4 cellular network not working after flashing firmware topic
I am completely stumped after struggling with this problem for the last 3 days. I'll explain what happened in detail.
I loaded a custom rom for my phone, Liquid smooth rom, to be specific. I tried to encrypt my phone, but after 3 hours it only showed the bootloader and did not show any noticeable signs of progression, so I rebooted and factory reset to try and fix my phone, as it could not mount the internal sdcard. Factory reset did not work, so I downloaded a stock firmware version for my country and phone, from sammobile. A friend suggested that I try and get the pit details from heimdall, but heimdall could not. Friend then suggested that I reload the usb driver for the phone through Zega, and then try and try and print the pit details again. It still did not want to print pit details, and the stock firmware finished downloading so I just flashed it (first tried XFE version firmware).
Flashing went fine, cellular network did not want to work. I then flashed the custom rom, again, and the cellular network still did not want to work. I downloaded a different firmware version (XFA), and had the same result. I tried a factory reset, no result. I tried flashing again, no result. I eventually tried different combinations of the various firmwares available, no result. Today I also tried downloading a firmware version from April 2013, to see if it will make any difference, and no result. I tested my sim card in another device, and it worked fine. I tested a sim card identical to mine in my own phone, and the network still did not work. I tried various combinations of factory resetting, installing custom roms, flashing firmware, and nothing works. It does not want to detect my sim card, but before the encryption process my network worked fine. I also tried taking my sim out, and leaving it out for a while. I tried turning my phone on with the sim in, and it didn't work.
Any ideas, please?

Network problems in my honor 6. Help me please :( topic
good days, afternoons and / or evenings (depending on the time you see this theme)
I have a SERIOUS problem with honor 6 (L60-L12)
I explain step by step and apologize if I made the story type movie :)
the first time you walk an honor 6 without wanting wanting erase tool ~ 2
the symbol of green android, but 2. Always thought while I realized that I recognized NO slot 2, but as I have one SIM does not pay attention until today.
A friend bought an honor 6 too, which served him so good, but EMUI upgrade to 3.0 and then inadvertently like the first day I clear all my Chinese thinking they were not needed.
I show pictures before deleting them:
CAPTURES before deleting the app. Being in EMUI 2.3
After the upgrade to 3.0 EMUI and delete those icons (tools ~ 1 and 2 also) the smartphone just grabs EDGE or G as above showed, NO SIGN OR antenna 1 or both. in this case the T1 and T2 will call to summarize.
example:
No mark T1 or T2 brand brand as mine when I have the sim inside, it only marks E.
This is mine, obviously is in G but has T1 and T2 above does not appear that you delete what I comment as above.
It's got it all available online in Venezuela which are 4g digitel 900mhz, 850mhz and movilnet movistar 850mhz and all continues E.
I tried downloading the USIM TOOLKIT but most that I find and download are not compatible with this phone. and he did the hard resert, has been restored factory several times, has installed new in 2.3 and 3.0 again and the result is the same, in other words I need or I urge the two SIM that came out earlier in 2nd orange and blue for this honor can finally grab back G or 3G or 4G.
NEED the widest possible collaboration, forums, app that can help me with the issue. hope your answers, while still from forum to forum until we finally found.
Thank you very much everyone for your time ...
and will not let me post pictures show you. I only ask them please where I can download the USIM tool to honor 6.

[Q] Why is my Gear S not able to register on TMobile's network anymore? topic
My wife bought me the international version of the Samsung Gear S (SM-R750W). She said that she researched and from her understanding it should work on the T mobile network. From what I've found though the consensus seemed to be it would not work, or if it did it would be spotty at best depending on the specific towers/area you were in because Tmobile utilizes different network types in different areas.
I decide to give it a shot anyway and went to the T-Mobile store where I signed up for the wearable plan and got a new nano sim card. I was crossing my fingers but as soon as they put the sim card in the watch it came to life. It looked to be working fine but as I left the store I received a text from T-Mobile stating " the SIM for your wearable devices is in an ineligible device. Services to the SIM are locked until it returned to your eligible wearable device".
I pessimistically started thinking well great, there goes that idea. But as I got into my vehicle I shut my phone down and tried to see if the watch can work on its own as a phone when unencumbered from my Note 4 bluetooth/WiFi data connections. It worked perfectly-I started calling my friends and they couldn't believe I was talking on a watch phone. Several I actually felt the call sound quality was better on the watch speaker phone compared to normally speaking on the Note 4. I called customer service but they told me they couldn't see anything and if it was working fine not to worry about it.
For the next eight or 9 hours it worked perfectly and I was using it a lot. I drove around large swaths of town and neither data nor call experienced even the slightest issue - for once I was happy to be wrong.
Eventually, as I am oft to do, I fell asleep. When I awoke this morning the watch was no longer connected to the network. It gave me a message saying it was unable to connect and did I want to scan for additional networks. I selected yes and it was able to find the T-Mobile and ATT networks. T-Mobile was selected and a "registering" notification was displayed. It took awhile but eventually said it was unable to register with the network.
I call T-Mobile and they said pretty much exactly what I expected them to say -that because it was not a T mobile device they could not ensure proper operation. But he said (and he characterized this as "good news", "light at the end of a tunnel" and "viable solution Seriously said all 3 things.) I could either forget all about the cellular connection and just use this as a companion device OR go and buy a new Gear S from T Mobile if I really wanted that feature.
Im truly and utterly baffled that he believed his suggestions merited the positive sayings from above. Never in my lifetime has my head been closer to exploding.
After I was finally able to speak again, I explained that it seemed unlikely to be an issue with the watch. If my Gear S was working perfectly yesterday and can still detect Tmobile & ATT networks, then something on your end seems to be preventing registration. He agree to file a ticket with the engineering team and tomorrow I should hear from them hopefully. He also told me to go and try another nano-SIM, gratis, at the Tmobile store. So today I went and as soon as I put the new card in all systems were go. I assumed that I somehow had received a bad card because here again now, data and voice are connected.
This time I didnt even make it out of the parking lot before it notified me that that it was again unable to register with the network. There is conflicting information regarding the radio frequencies and bands that the different Gear S models have and I didnt have high hopes. But then it actually did work, WELL, so any ideas as to what is going wrong?

[HELP] Network problem after installing new LCD Display topic
I recently bought a new LCD (LCD+Digitizer+Frame+buttons) from aliexpress for my Xperia Z. I disassembled the phone & installed the new display myself. It works perfectly. There's only one problem - it cannot connect to any network at all. The only time I get a signal (1-2 bars) is when I get out in the open. This is the same while in my car also. Other than this, everything else works perfectly (wifi, cameras, mic, earpiece, speaker, etc.)
I tried using the same sim in another phone (Galaxy Star S5282). It gets full signal, wherever I go. I also tried using my brother's sim in the Xperia but same results. His sim also works perfectly in all other phones.
I had disassembled it yesterday again & couldn't find where the fault was. The sim tray is fixed to the mainboard & there are no wires/flex cables to be connected.
Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.

[Q] I unlocked and rooted/flashed and now shows wrong network. topic
Hi guys,
I had my Note 2 on Koodo network for less than a year. Recently I unlocked it and sold it to a friend. My friend is on Videotron network and the phone shows the signal with an R like if my friend was roaming however it works properly. I also tried switching the network manually but it doesn't want to connect to Videotron. Is there something that I need to flash such as modem maybe ? It's running on Slimkat latest stable version.

[Q] Network register problem, GSM, 3G connectivity issues... topic
hi to all,
anyone please help me since i got my note 4 n910f i have an issue with it. It doesn't connect to gsm/3g network. Its unlocked/not stolen/not blacklisted etc. The weirdest thing is that after flashing firmware it recognizes sim card and register and just for only one single FIRST time i can even make a call but that's it after ending that call whatever i do it won't register to network or if i manually select search network it keeps searching but won't connect even if it stopped searching after long time it won't show its network name though it show WITHOUT sim card. i have changed sim cards. even used professional help by writing some qcn files etc but after writing those i still got same problem i.e; can call for first time after writing qcn but that will be last.
You people don't think that it calls for first time then won't call until i flash new firmware.
Oh BTW there is another problem whenever i flash lollipop it won't detect in windows but detect every mode on kitkat.

[Fix] Loosing network after flashing Int2Ext script topic
Many people are facing Network loosing problem after flashing Int2Ext . So, I've made a fix for the problem :)
Here's the instruction to fix the problem:
1. Download any root browser that can show files inside a *.RAR file. (I'm using Xplore for this)
2. download the RAR file from the attachment

[Q] How to unlock rooted i9505 from EE network topic
Hi my contact run to its end and EE has an audacity to ask me for £20 quid to unlock a phone that they locked, that now belongs to me. As I have absolutely no intention to pay for it or upgrade, nor conduct any further business I would like to remove the lock, I am on new cyanogenmod 12 and rooted with CWM recovery. It shouldn't be that difficult, anyone is willing to help?
Thanks!:D
Thanks!:D

Tether and WiFi Network in one? topic
I've been trying to figure out how but failing. Is it possible to share my phones Internet using a program like WiFi Tether Router and share my phone on the same network?
If you don't know what I mean, when I join a network my PC or phone can see each other...link to each other for file sharing, connect to things like roku or plex or side sync.... But when the phone is the device doing the tethering it isn't available on the network. ..
Is it possible?

[Q] Android is slow to respond to the ping. Poor network operates. How to fix? topic
Actually the whole essence of the problem is clearly visible in the picture, unlike the desktop OS,
Android is much worse than working with the network and the response time of the device strongly floats:

speedtest.net also confirms the problem is, there is much lower speed and ping above and parameters during the test swim.
machine on which to run the tests, the AP is connected to the cable, all other devices connected to the screenshot Wi-FI.
