Stuttering mic in speakermode during phone call topic

So I often use speakermode when doing phone calls with my gf and since the I got the Nexus 6 she always reports heavy stuttering of my mic after like 5-10 mins of calling.

Am I the only one with such a problem? Might it be ROM/Kernel related?
