But doesn't work, because I don't repartitione the phone.

So, I need pit file for this firmware...

No Sound or Mic or N9005 Hong Kong topic

I've got a problem with my Note 3 where there is no sound or mic input either on the device or via headphones. I updated from CM12 official to a Note 4 rom based on Lolipop. I have tried going back to CM12 to no avail, now with an added stutter/freeze. I have tried updating the baseband and modem, neither of which have helped. I'm hoping it's some sort of software issue judging by the freezing i'm now getting. Any ideas?

I decided to write about my opinion, maby someone can ansewer me.
We have wait a long tiome for official LP rom. Ok, we've had a Leak (quite nice it was i must say) - but with some little issues.
"Now", when OFFICIAL rom is out, same issues i've found in the rom. So? Nothing has changed? =/ What's wrong with Samsung?
I've:
1. No time setting's in Interruptions - still !
2. Green "like" screen - i sometime get green "aplha 50%" like acreen, need to turn off, wait about few seconds and it usually goes to normal.
3. No Tabs in Chrome ?! (or i can't figure it how to lunch it) :D
4. Light sensor problems - very often my screen is set to minimum (in auto mode) - i have to klick it to manual, then slide to max and finaly change it to auto. (in maximum sunlight i cant do anything because of that)
5. And i found that i can't save (device is not saving) Edited Photos. (via Samsung Photo Editor) ??!! [on leak it was ok!]

So... conclusion? Is this "official" isn't just an earlier simply renamed Leak ?
What's wrong? Now it's time to say to KNOX "good bye" and switch to CustomRoms - I'm surprised that I was able to withstand so many time :D

PS. Can anyone give a clue about nice stabile TW custom rom (Lollipop) with most od N4 options? where abowe issues work nice and smoothly :)

N9005 Lollipop camera topic

Here I made a video of the stock Lollipop update for the N9005 showing how the camera has a lag compared to the one on stock 4.4.2
I the video the N9005 camera is compared with the camera of an S3 Neo.
Would like to know why the camera is working like this.
Both cameras are on auto in a closed environment under artificial light.

[Q] N9005 permissions broken? topic

Hi there everyone. I just looked for a post with this problem, but didn't found, so here you go.

I have a international Note 3 N9005 (bought in Brazil) with the latest unbranded Brazilian firmware 4.4.2. I have flashed CM and some other roms, rooted etc. But in the end I flashed back the original rom from SanMobile, via Odin.

The problem is:
1. Some settings are not saved. I can only choose pattern in lock screen security, I can't choose pin or password or the settings app freeze or crash.

2. On the contacts app, from which contacts to display, I choose only contacts from Google. When the cellphone restarts, it shows all contacts again (sim, phone, google, etc)

3. GPS only locks when data is turned off or in airplane mode.

I flashed this firmware via Odin and tried a factory reset in the original recovery but no success.
I don't know why but I think this is a permission problem. I don't need root right now. I can restore with Kies if that would solve this problem.

[Q] Cannot find working Xposed for Note 3 N9005 topic

I have tried many versions of Xposed, from the newest down to version 18 I think it was, but the further back I went, the worse it got. The framework installs fine each time (for each version tried) according to the message within the Xposed app.

Basically I cannot find a working version of the xposed framework for my N9005 Note 3, it's not carrier branded apart from the boot animation, there are no carrier apps at all, it's almost entirely stock.
I still have it running the original 4.3 Jelly Bean. Baseband N9005XXUBMI6
On the newer versions of Xposed, I get no signal and it makes the phone a bit laggy, and various other things misbehave. On older versions approaching and including 18, I started getting looped force closes on Android Media, Bluetooth Share, Contacts & Messages (which didn't go away after uninstalling xposed), and the options in the top of the pull down took ages to activate and toggled themselves on/off. I uninstalled each Xposed version, then wiped the xposed cache & data before final uninstall (before trying a different version) each time. And I also did the reboots after installs as recommended.

Only thing I've done to the N9005 is root (of course), superuser, TWRP (recovery) and using TSF launcher, and I don't think these last 3 would be triggering a clash/problem.

Was really looking forward to using some Xposed modules but for now I had to restore my backup from when the phone worked. I see other people with Note 3s (maybe other models) working Xposed fine, just wondering if the Xposed team can help by supporting the N9005 or telling me that I'm somehow doing it wrong. (or anyone else who can help).

Firstly the reason why I've opened this thread is because previously over a year ago I wrongly flashed a s2 and I became a little scared of flashing phones. I got a samsung note 3 whose current os is Android 4.3 and since it was already rooted when I bought it (Unlocked French Phone) I can't get OTA updates. so I wanna flash it so that I can get OTA updates.

the existing baseband version is: N9005XXUBMI5
What I have downloaded is N9005ZHUENJ1 to upgrade from older version
I'm scared, would this work if I use this N9005ZHUENJ1 to update it over odin?
do I have to repartition?
and finally how do I have to do it for double checking

[Q] n9005 bootloop with Blue LED topic

i got the phone off someone, turns out they had tried to flash the leaked lollipop rom gbnl8, but got bootloop. i was able to reflash gng1 4.4.2 rom. but the bootloop is still there at the samsung logo. i hear the sound but not it just restarts, and there's a blue led light on.

can anyone help me get this device working again?
