[Q] [problem] Lenovo s898t+ playstore problem topic

Hi all, I'm having a problem with playstore on my Lenovo s898t+, I've flashed rom from Needrom website, it is under Lenovo s898t+ and it is a kitkat

whatever I do play store says "no connection", I've cleared cache, reset preferences, edited host file, even flashed other gapps but the problem is still present. Every apps are working in this rom, and play store is working in other rom but not in this one, so the problem is defenutely in rom, but I need this because the phone is Chinesse and other rom are not good like this one, they are mixing ENG/CH language.

So, my question is what can be a cause, what is blocking a connection between play store app and server? How to fix it? What file to edit and what to change?

Hello everyone.

My problem is simple, I can't change the modem.
More information:
I got my P780 some time ago with 4.2 from the vendor. For some days now, the device was softbrick'd. After a complete flash and 3 days of back and forth I got 4.4.2 S221 Life installed with TWRP and CWM recovery (can easily change between). With this version i actually CAN (miracly!) connect not only to 3G, but to 2G!! (Only version so far for me)

If it helps, I live in Germany and probably got the chinese version (chinese letters written on battery)

Problem is, the connection is not very stable :/
So I decided to switch the modem to v51. That's where the problems start. I got the zip on the ext_SD, flashed with TWRP and CWM and wiped the cache. But the "Baseband version" is still at "P780.V101..........", even after several modems, it does nothing!

My second problem is, that the WLAN-connection only works once. I enter the password, it works and after I got out of range and back in it won't connect again!! I have to "Forget" the connection and connect all over again with entering the password.

I really hope you can help me :)

I am thinking about ordering this phone from etotalk.com, but before I do I need some more information about it and the company I am ordering it from.

Does this phone have App2SD support?
I already read that it can be rooted and unlocked, does the Etotalk Mod ROM fix all the localization issues?
Will it read all sorts of SIM Cards (eg. European)?
Any probable Signal issues in Europe? (more accurately: Croatia)
Personal opinions about this phone?

I like it because it is cheap and has great performance. It has a custom Android Version though, but as long as Play Store Apps are compatible, I'm fine with it.

I've been searching and searching everywhere. Nothing helps. So if YOU have been in the same situation, please tell me what to do.
My lenovo a269i (rooted, gb 2.3.6) stucked at boot. NORMALLY I wiped data and cache then it worked perfectly again. But when I downloaded Ifont to change the font, my phone rebooted automatically, and then it stucked on the logo:mad:.
Wiping things is useless.:(
Tried flashtool but it won't download.:crying:
Also, do I have to leave out the battery or install it when flashing? :confused:
Are there any ways? Or can any of you be more specific with the flashing process?:eek:

hi there

i have a lenovo s920 8 gb version, with warranty expired a few days
just as the warranty expired, the phone went soft brick by itself
everytime power it on. it just stuck at lenovo android powered screen

then i tried to flash it with sp tools, but with wrong rom. flashed it with ROM S920_ROW_S117 4 gb version.

now, it just went dead. not powering on
but, if i connect it to charger or my laptop. the red light led will lit up
on my laptop win 7, it is recognized as MTK USB Port COM 4

a few hours searching, i did found the 8 gb rom version. here
S920_ROW_8G_S111_131217 (versi 8GB)

do i still have the chance to revive it again?

[Q] Lenovo P780: Unable to mount \data error topic

Hi All,
I am using lenovo p780 8gb. while flashing custom rom using twrp it said rom installed and will reboot now. phone was stuck in the boot screen. so again i rebooted to twrp and tried to do a wipe to re-install my previous rom. it gave me this error "E: unable to mount \data".
when i tried to install the rom over it, it gave me the above error as well as "E: unable to mount internal storage. Now i did some research and tried to flash using sp flash tools with a stock rom but phone is not getting recognised by the flash tools. I have all the usb driver and have used flash tools before when my phone was working. i also tried to use some terminal commands,which i found in one of the threads. but it said that directory did not exist. file system is ext4. in file explorer internal storage is showing as 0mb. also i tried to repair option. system has 754mb out of which 99mb is free and preload has 196mb out of which 192mb is free. data is 0mb and when i click internal storage for repair it says invalid partition selected. again i wiped system, now only 12mb out of 754mb is used. please help me :( . can my phone be recovered?twrp version is 2.7.1.1
and i had life xvibe v09 working before i flashed with samsung ui rom.

Hello Users! I have Lenovo A7-30 (A3300) with using Android KitKat (4.4.2). I tried to get the latest update, but failed and getting into recovery mode... But I pressed volume up for many times then recovery mode exits. Then starting/booting up, and look it's a black screen or DEADBOOT/Boot Loop/Bricked. My tablet buttons is not working or malfunction. :/ :crying: Due to insufficient battery life or not enough free space of storage?

How can I restore, flash, unbrick, or root my device after updating failure/black screen/DEADBOOT using Stock ROM/Bootloader, SP Flashtool, or charging the battery on my tablet(50% or 80%)?

Anyone can help or provide it? :confused:

I just received a notification on my phone's screen that there is a new system update available, from S860_ROW_S402_141108 to S860_ROW_S405_150126 ( 292MB ).

My questions are:

1. Can anyone provide a link to this update package so I can download it independently and copy it wherever I want on the phone?
2. How can I upgrade the firmware using something like TWRP Manager? (I successfully rooted my phone some time ago). When I reboot the phone I get a menu from which nothing works to automatically install this update. I'm hoping that with a .zip file it's going to finally work, since I'll have something to choose for installing.

3. Is there an easier way to do system updates after rooting the phone?

Sorry for my bad english! :(

First i tried android-x86-4.4-RC2 iso + followed the tutorial from here: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!ms...E/RhTWtOjH3H0J
(and downloaded the kitkat_install_package.zip in link above...)
none of these worked.

Then i tried android-x86-4.4-r2.img (.img; which is the efi version not the iso version because im using gpt and uefi and dual booting win8.1 and ubuntu 14.10 with grub...)
i booted live android and unlike the other 2 images i used before, live acctually worked! :D so i did the instruction in this toturial:

i installed android on another usb with ext3 format and copied the files from that usb to a 16gb ext2 gpt partition on my hard drive (yoga 2 pro's ssd) , (also tried ext3)
